"Should we go wake her up?" Josh asked as his husband sat on his lap on the couch as they stared at the presents under the tree.

"Nah," Tyler said, shaking his head. "She'll come down when she's ready."

"It's nearly 9:00. I'd expect her to be up by now. Oh, wait... does she know it's Christmas?"

Tyler nodded, then stopped. "I mean... I think?"

Then, the boys heard tiny feet slapping against the hardwood.

"There she is!" Tyler exclaimed with a smile, getting off Josh's lap and picking his baby girl up. "Merry Christmas, Ruby!"

Ruby grinned goofily, turning to look at Josh. She waved with a grin.

"Hi, RuRu," Josh smiled, getting up and kissing her cheek. "Merry Christmas."

Tyler sat down with Ruby, speaking to her gently. "Okay, RuRu. We do Christmas very special in the Dun family. You're gonna go up to the tree, and you're gonna grab a gift. If it says Ruby on it, ya get to open it. If it says Tyler, it goes to me. If it says Josh, it goes to daddy."

Ruby didn't understand a word Tyler was saying, but she got up and ran to the tree, giggling on her way there because the sound of her feet smacking the ground was funny.

She picked one up and ran back to Tyler, giving it to him.

She then quickly ran back to the tree on her tubby toddler legs, grabbing one and taking it to Josh.

And then she grabbed on and plopped down right next to the tree.

"Wait," Tyler giggled as he read the tag on his gift. "Joshua, this one's yours."

"Yeah, this one's yours," Josh said as he saw the tag on the gift Ruby had given him said Tyler.

"Does that one say Ruby on it?" Tyler asked Ruby.

Ruby nodded.

"Does she know how to read?" Josh asked Tyler.

"No," Tyler giggled. "Here, RuRu. Bring that present over here and we can check together."

Ruby grinned, making her way to Tyler and plopping down on his lap.

"Yep, this one's hers," Tyler said.

"Ready to open it, RuRu?" Josh asked.

Ruby hummed.

"1...2...3!"

Tyler and Josh ripped their packages open, wrapping paper flying everywhere.

"Awwww, Josh!" Tyler exclaimed. "You got us family portraits?!"

Josh grinned and nodded. He knew Tyler had always wanted professional photos taken of he and Josh, and now that they had Ruby, he REALLY wanted them. So Josh bought an appointment in a couple weeks for the family to have them done.

"New glasses!" Josh said with a wide grin. "These are the ones I wanted!" He took off the ones he was wearing and put on the new ones. "And they're the right prescription! Thank you, baby. I love them."

Tyler smiled, leaning over and kissing Josh's lips.

"What'd you get, RuRu?" He asked Ruby.

The boys saw Ruby was still unwrapping the gift, being extremely careful not to rip anything.

"RuRu," Josh laughed. "You're supposed to rip it open. And be crazy with it."

"She's a civilized lady," Tyler giggled. "I think she's gonna do it at her own pace."

Five minutes later, Ruby had neatly unwrapped the box.

Tyler had to open the box for her, the baby grinning as she saw a big stuffed bunny in there.

"Oooooh, RuRu!" Tyler hummed. "What're ya gonna name him?"

"Bunny."

"Good name," Josh said. "Very creative."

So that's the process they went through with every single gift.

Josh and Tyler would have to switch gifts every time because apparently Ruby thought Tyler was Josh and Josh was Tyler.

The boys would rip open their gifts excitedly while Ruby carefully undid everything.

It definitely slowed the process down, but the boys thought it was adorable.

"Well," Tyler said. "We don't have to buy as much wrapping paper next year because Ruby pretty much saved all of the paper her gifts were wrapped in well enough to the point we could reuse it next year."

"Good job, RuRu," Josh said to the baby who was curled up in his lap, tired of opening gifts. "But you've still got some more gifts."

Ruby just yawned adorably.

"Do you want daddy to help you open?" Tyler asked her.

Ruby nodded, not really knowing what she was saying yes to but going with it anyway.

So Ruby sat in Josh's lap, Josh helping her open her gifts.

"Joshua!" Tyler exclaimed with a blush after he opened one box.

"Oh, shit," Josh said. "Uh... yeah, those weren't... those weren't supposed to be under the tree."

It was a box of condoms.

"You're gonna wear them anyway," Tyler said. "They should've been a gift to you."

"Oh, trust me," Josh grinned. "They're a gift to both of us."

"Ew!"

Josh laughed, covering Ruby's baby ears. "Good thing she doesn't know what sex is."

"Hmmm??" Ruby hummed, looking up at Josh because she couldn't hear what he was saying with his hands over her ears.

"Nothing," Josh giggled, kissing her nose. "Daddy didn't say anything."

Tyler laughed, rolling his eyes as he took the box and put them in their room.

"JOSHUA!" Tyler exclaimed again after he opened a box containing several pairs of lace panties.

"Okay, those were meant as a joke!" Josh said, defending himself. "Unless you want to wear them. Because you can totally wear them. Please feel free to wear them. But I figured you wouldn't want to so I can return them."

"You're horrible," Tyler giggled. "On Ruby's first Christmas, too."

"Well she'll be talking by next Christmas! And understanding things! And remembering! I had to do it this Christmas."

"I'll keep one pair," Tyler said.

"REALLY?!"

"Just to make you happy."

Josh grinned widely. "Merry Christmas to me."

"MERRY CHRIMUH!" Ruby yelled suddenly.

"Very good, Ruby!" Tyler smiled, kissing her cheek. "Merry Christmas!"

Ruby grinned, hugging Tyler lightly because she was still trying to learn how to properly hug.

"You wanna try Tyler's famous Christmas hot chocolate??" Josh asked Ruby. "Is she old enough?"

"It'll have to be more like room temperature chocolate," Tyler giggled. "But yeah, she can have some."

Josh grinned, carrying Ruby to the kitchen and pouring her some of the drink, helping her to sip it.

"I think she likes it," Josh laughed as Ruby started making grabby hands at his mug. "This one's too hot for you, RuRu," he told her. "I'll get you some baby temperature chocolate in a minute. I've gotta sit back and admire daddy's beautiful for a second."

"You're just saying that because you wanna see me in the panties," Tyler giggled as he stirred the pot of soup he was making to go with lunch.

"Noooo," Josh said. "I've always thought you were beautiful. And I'm also looking forward to seeing your beauty in the panties."

Tyler rolled his eyes. "I'm not even sure I'm gonna wear them. I just think it'd be funny to have around."

"Well they were $35 each. Even just seeing you in them once would mean I got my money's worth."

"$35?! EACH?!"

Josh nodded.

"Joshua..." Tyler sighed.

"Your cute butt is worth it."

Ruby suddenly screamed.

"Oh, god, I forgot she was here," Tyler said, out of breath after jumping in surprise at the loud noise.

"Goodness, RuRu," Josh giggled as he hugged the baby tighter. She had just wanted to be hugged closer. "I'm huggin' ya, I'm huggin' ya. We'll continue this conversation after the baby has gone to sleep."

Tyler nodded, dishing up everyone's lunch.

"C'mere, RuRu," Tyler said, setting the girl in her high chair. "You've gotta eat then take a nap."

Ruby hummed compliantly, grabbing every small bit of food Tyler cut up for her and shoving it in her mouth happily.

After she finished, Tyler picked her up and put her down in her room.

"Get some sleep, RuRu," he said softly, kissing her nose. "Daddy's have a surprise for when you wake up."

Ruby soon drifted to sleep, Tyler gently closing the door on his way out.

He met Josh in their bedroom, figuring he was there since when he returned to the kitchen it was empty.

"I think," Josh hummed with a grin. "These would look great on your cute lil butt."

Tyler laughed as his husband held up a pair of panties that said 'ho ho ho' across the ass.

"You're funny," he said.

"I'm serious!"

"I'm not giving you sex in a Santa hat and a pair of holiday panties for Christmas," Tyler said.

"I never mentioned a Santa hat but now that you say it..."

"You're pathetic," Tyler giggled, shaking his head and rolling his eyes.

Josh laughed, pulling Tyler onto the bed with him and lying down beside him. "How are you feeling this lovely Christmas, husband? It's our first Christmas with a baby."

"I'm doing quite well, actually," Tyler smiled. "I have to say, I do miss just getting to snuggle with you and make out between opening every present, but y'know. There's always Valentine's Day."

"Ohhhhhh yeah," Josh grinned. "Ruby's staying at my parents' Valentine's Day and night. We'll be having non-stop sex then. I can feel it."

Tyler giggled. "That's how it is every year. We try to be all romantic and go out for a nice dinner but we just end up being lazy and wearing sweatpants and eating Chinese food on the couch before one of us is horny enough to make a move."

"Typically that's me," Josh giggled.

"Yup," Tyler giggled, kissing his husband's lips softly.

That night, after Ruby woke up, they all drove around and looked at the Christmas lights around the city.

Ruby loved the red colored lights. Red was her favorite.

By the time they got home, though, Ruby was asleep in her car seat.

"G'night, sweet girl," Josh smiled as he gently set her down in her crib. "Merry Christmas."
