"Joshua," Tyler said through gritted teeth, smacking his husband's thigh. "Stop making her laugh."

"I can't help it," Josh giggled as he made more funny faces to the tubby baby girl sitting on his lap. "She's so giggly tonight."

"People can barely hear the pastor," Tyler replied. "Just hold her still. You can play with her tonight."

"Sorry daddy's so grumpy," Josh whispered to the baby even though she didn't know what he was saying. "We can play tonight."

Church service ended, Josh grinning excitedly because it meant he finally got to continue playing with Ruby.

"RuRuuuuu," he hummed with a grin, kissing her nose. "Daddy loves youuu."

Ruby giggled as Josh made goofy noises at her, hugging his neck tightly as he carried her to the car.

"She's being so frickin' cute tonight," Josh grinned as he looked at her in the rearview as he drove his little family home. "Even cuter than usual. Can she sleep in our bed tonight? Pleeeease?"

"What about annual Christmas snuggles?" Tyler pouted. "It's tradition."

"RuRu can join."

"But it's just you and me. And we eat cookies and snuggle and make out."

"Well," Josh said. "RuRu can join after we finish making out."

They all put on matching Christmas pajamas, Josh and Tyler in flannel pajama pants and black t-shirts while Ruby had on an adorable flannel nightie.

"RuRuuuu," Josh hummed with a grin as the tubby baby sat on his chest. "Santa Claus is comin' tonight. I think he brought ya some special stuff!"

Ruby had no idea what Josh was saying since she was so young, but she giggled anyway. Josh was so silly.

Tyler sighed, turning on his side and closing his eyes.

He missed it being he and Josh being so intimate on Christmas Eve with their snuggling up by the fire place, kissing, saying they were thankful for one another.

Josh sensed it, though.

"Okay, RuRu," Josh said. "I think it's time for you to go to bed." He carried her to her nursery, kissing her then lying her down in her crib. "Sleep well, sweet girl. Santa's comin' tonight!"

He then returned to his and Tyler's room, getting into bed and snuggling up with Tyler so he was spooning him.

"Hi, baby," Josh said.

"Hi," Tyler mumbled.

"You know you're still my number one, right?"

Tyler nodded. "I know," he sighed.

"And that I love you more than anything, right?"

Tyler nodded.

"And that I'd love if you let me build a fire in the living room and snuggle up in front of it with you and make out and maaaaaybe even get a lil more lucky."

Tyler smiled softly.

"That's what happened last year," Josh hummed with a wide grin. "Sex in front of the fire place. Right there on the loveseat. Guess it's called a love seat for a reason."

"Joshua!" Tyler exclaimed with a giggle.

"What?! It's true!"

Tyler laughed, turning to face Josh. "We'll have to be careful when Ruby gets older. We don't want her catching me kissing Santa Claus."

Josh grinned, kissing Tyler's lips deeply. "We'll work our way around that. But for now, my dear, follow me."
