Chapter 13

A/N: GO LOOK IN THE FIRST CHAPTER

How are ya'll? I'm miserable. School's gonna start on Monday and arrrghhhhh!  (that was me screaming in frustration, don't mind me). I don't wanna start yet!

Anyway, enough about me, myself, and I, I'm too boring.

So let's start the chapter!

Here we goo!

Song: "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday" - Boyz II Men

Percy:

I smirked as Annabeth blushed in embarrassment. This was way too fun. Too much fun to last.

Now, I love Paul. He's a great guy and makes mom laugh but sometimes I just want to choke him, like now.

There were still five minutes left and Paul being the annoying person he is, didn't let us leave early. It's not like every teacher does, but I was hoping Paul would.

"Students, as we know we have a project every month on a book we have read. This time the book was Pride and Prejudice, so I want you to team up in pairs and write an essay about the story. " Everyone started grabbing their friends. "No, no I've written the pairs already. And yes, it was random. So, I do not have something against you." He said looking pointedly at the class.

"Now, how did the book make you feel? Is Mr. Darcy perfect? Is Elizabeth Bennet quick to judge? What are your thoughts? I want this all in your essay. Your opinions, everything. It has to be at least 3000 words." He finished. The class groaned. 3000? Ugh.

"Lacey Brown and Micheal James."

"Arya Gupta and Hannah Leroy."

"Faria Abdul and Parker Benny."

And he went on and on and on. Jeez, our class had a lot of names.

"And finally, Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase." He said and put his book on the table. As if on cue, the bell rang.

"Thank you, students." He said and sat down on his chair as the students left scowling. Only a few got their best friends.

"Mr. Blofis, can I please have another partner?" I hear Annabeth's voice.

"No, Ms. Chase. I have already submitted your names with your partners to the head. I can't change anything, I'm sorry." Paul said, apologetically.

"Fine, it's okay," Annabeth said and forcefully smiled. Paul nodded and went back to whatever teachers do. Teaching is such a boring job.

Annabeth walked outside to where I was standing and scowled.

"Just for your information, I'm not happy with this... arrangement." She said.

"Don't worry, neither am I," I said, smirking. She glared at me and walked away.

"Wait! Give me your number. We need to meet up if we have to do this." I said. She didn't seem too happy about this. Neither am I.

I could see the gears turning in her head when she said, "Not that fast. Tomorrow, I'll meet you after school outside the gates." She said. Now it was her turn to smirk.

Dam it. There goes my plan of spamming her.

"Fine!" I said.

"Fine." She said and walked away.

I smiled. She was such an adorable person.

Woah, Woah, Woah. Hang on there, Percy. She is certainly not adorable. Also, she is certainly not beautiful.

Suddenly I remembered Rachel's green eyes and fiery red hair. I smiled to myself. She was always so cheery. Always painting something or the other. Always splattering her jeans with paint. I remember this time she begged me to sit still so she could paint me.

Then she painted herself beside me. She was talented.

I clicked on my phone. The background was of her lying on the ground with paint splattered on her face. I took it when we went on a picnic. She was smiling and her eyes crinkled.

She supposed to go to Art school and be successful but because of me... she died.

It feels like yesterday when we had our good times. And it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.

My eyes started to tear up. I sniffled. I had to move with life. Not move on, but move with. Because I could never, ever move on.

Annabeth:

Life did take it up as a challenge.

I walked to P.E. I didn't really like it but it wasn't so bad either. One of the positives in my old school was hitting Octavion with the ball in his balls.

Those were the good times. I sigh.

I walk to the girls' locker room with the others and change into my P.E. clothes.

I walked into the gym with the coach.

And guess who I saw there?

My life is really horrible.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Okay. *sniffles* I'm not crying. Shut up. You are. I'm not.

~Crazy
