"Right above the knee," Josh said.

"What?"

"Right above the knee," he repeated.

It took Tyler a minute to realize what Josh was talking about. His leg.

He was explaining where the amputation had taken place a year and a half ago to save the cancer from spreading to the rest of his body.

Tyler guessed he had never seen Josh's leg before. He knew he hadn't, actually.

"Okay," he nodded softly, kissing Josh's forehead.

Josh took off his clothes, Tyler seeing the leg with the prosthetic on for the first time. He then took the prosthetic off, now being practically bound to the bed due to his inability to move.

Tyler would have to be on top of him, obviously. Which was horrifying to him.

"T-this is scary for both of us," he said, gently running his fingers through Josh's hair comfortingly. "I-I really, really don't wanna be on top, and you really, really don't want me to see your leg."

"Why don't you wanna be on top?" Josh asked, rubbing his boyfriend's thighs.

"The same reason you don't want me to see your leg," Tyler replied. "Vulnerability."

"Well I think you're gorgeous no matter where you are," Josh smiled.

"B-but I'm so exposed like this," Tyler said, covering his bare abdomen with his arms as he straddled Josh's lap.

"We don't have to do this," Josh reminded him.

"I-I know," Tyler said. "B-but I want to. I really, really want to."

"You can put a shirt on if it makes you feel more comfortable," Josh said.

"No, no. We're both going to be vulnerable, ok? Not just one of us."

Josh nodded. He kissed his boyfriend's forehead and hugged his waist tightly.

They had their first time, finishing at the same time.

Tyler got off of Josh's lap, Josh immediately wrapping his arms around his boyfriend.

Tyler's heart was beating a thousand miles an hour.

Josh could feel it, Tyler's chest being pressed against his side. He smiled and turned his head, kissing Tyler's forehead.

"I love you."

"I love you too," Tyler smiled shyly.

Josh hugged him tightly, kissing his temple. "Did you like it?"

"L-like What?"

"The sex, honey," Josh smiled.

"O-oh," Tyler said shyly. "I-I liked it."

"I liked it too," Josh replied.

Tyler kissed Josh's cheek, caressing it softly after.

Josh smiled as he looked back down at him. "I love you so much, Tyler Joseph," he whispered softly.

"I love you more, Joshua Dun," Tyler whispered back with a lovestruck smile.

The boys couldn't believe they had waited this long.
