"Bye, baby," Tyler smiled as he hugged his husband, kissing his lips. "I love you."

"I love you too," Josh said, kissing and hugging him back. "Don't have too much fun without me."

"You know I won't," Tyler giggled. "Same for you, though. Don't get to crazy with the house to yourself."

"Oh, yeah. You know me and my wild parties."

Tyler laughed and kissed his lips again. "I'll see you in two weeks."

"Stay safe," Josh said, kissing Tyler once more before watching his husband head to board the plane.

He was really, really sad that he wouldn't be with his husband for a whole two weeks.

Tyler was going on a trip to Hawaii with some old friends from high school while Josh stayed home and worked.

Josh got back to his car, driving home and sighing sadly.

Two weeks of single living again.

Six hours later:

Tyler: just landed!

Josh:  yay! I'm so glad you got there safely.

Four days later.

Josh scrambled for his phone as he heard it ring while he was in the shower and saw it was Tyler.

"Hello??" He said.

"Hi Joshua," Tyler hummed.

"Hey, baby," Josh said with a grin, his husband's voice making him so, so happy.

"What's up?" Tyler asked.

"Just got out of the shower," Josh said. "What're you up to? Shouldn't you be out partying?"

"It's 7:30pm and I'm in my hotel room in pajamas," Tyler giggled. "Everyone else is at the bar downstairs but I'm not really feelin' it."

"I wish I was there to keep you company," Josh said.

"Me too," Tyler said. "It's so boring not having anything to do when I wake up in the middle of the night. Nobody to kiss, nobody to snuggle with more, nobody to wake up and ask if we can have sex."

Josh laughed. "Just a week and a half more and we can have as much mid-night sex as you want."

Tyler smiled widely. "I can't wait."

"This trip's reminded me what it's like to be single and I despise it," Josh said.

"Me too. But I'll see you in 11 days."

"See you then, baby. I love you."

"I love you more."

Josh smiled as he saw his husband get off the plane, opening his arms wide.

Tyler giggled and made his way into them, hugging him tightly. Josh grinned and kissed the top of Tyler's head.

"Hi, there, beautiful," he hummed.

"Hi Joshua," Tyler smiled up at him, kissing his lips.

The boys headed home, immediately crawling into bed together.

"I missed you," Josh sighed as they lied in bed, his arms around Tyler.

"I missed you more," Tyler giggled. "I needed someone else who doesn't drink to stay with in my room with me and be antisocial."

Josh laughed, kissing Tyler's temple. "It sounds like you had a good time, though."

"Oh, yeah. I really enjoyed it. It was so pretty. But I'm so happy to finally be back with you."

Josh smiled, kissing Tyler's lips and looking into his eyes. "Welcome home."
