Josh lost his boyfriend to cancer at age 18.

He had sworn that at his funeral he had heard Tyler say "don't cry, Joshua. We'll be together again real soon."

Josh was in the hospital following a bad car accident, and it was clear he wasn't going to make it.

But he wasn't sad about it. He wasn't scared or afraid.

All of his family came in and said goodbye.

His little niece started crying, Josh hugging her as he lied in his hospital bed. "It's okay, Ruby. I get to go be with Tyler today."

Everyone in Josh's family had been really close to Tyler. He had been family to them, and they knew Josh's life just hadn't been the same since losing him. It would all just be better for him if he was back with Tyler.

And his family was happy Josh would finally get what he wanted: to be with Tyler for all of eternity.

They all said their final goodbyes, and Josh was ready to get to see the love of his life for the first time in a year.

"I love you all," he said quietly. "I'll see you real soon. Tyler and I will both see you real soon."

He closed his eyes, and he was gone.

"I told you we were gonna be together real soon," a voice giggled from behind Josh.

He turned around to see his Tyler, his smile widening. "Baby..." he said softly.

"Hi Joshua," Tyler smiled.

Josh tackled him in a hug, kissing all over him. "Tyler! Y-you're here! W-where's your oxygen tank?"

"I don't need it, Joshie," Tyler said. "I'm not sick anymore."

"Baby," Josh said softly, tears running down his cheeks. "You're healthy now?"

Tyler smiled and nodded. "Don't cry, Joshie. We're together forever now."

Josh smiled through his tears, hugging Josh's waist tightly. "I missed you so much."

"I was always with you," Tyler replied. "You just couldn't see me. Every minute of every day, I was with you."

"Even when I was..."

"Even when you were jerking off, Joshie," he giggled. "But you don't need to jerk off anymore because I'm here. And we have our own house. And everything's so perfect, Joshie."

"I love you so much, Tyler."

"I love you more, Joshie. Now c'mon! We've got a lot to catch up on."
