"Hey, Ty," Josh grinned as he sat down next to his boyfriend who was lying down on the Joseph's living room couch.

"Hey, Jishwa," Tyler smiled softly.

"How're you holding up?" Josh asked.

"My shoulders are really sore."

"Your shoulders?" Josh asked confusedly.

"Yeah," Tyler said. "They injected air into my stomach so they could move the camera around."

Tyler had had surgery for some issues he had been having with his stomach, and he wanted Josh to come over to be with him since he couldn't move around for 7-10 days.

"Ohhh," Josh said, wrapping his arm around him. "Did you have any dreams while you were loopy?"

Tyler shook his head. "No. But I was really giggly when I woke up."

Josh laughed and nodded. "Your mom sent me the video. It was super cute."

Tyler blushed and smiled shyly.

"I brought you frozen yogurt," Josh said, handing Tyler a cup of his favorite flavor with all his favorite toppings.

"Thank you, Jishwa," Tyler smiled. "I love you so much. You're so sweet."

Josh grinned and kissed his temple. "I love you too. What do you wanna do?"

Tyler shrugged. "M-my incisions hurt."

"Where are they?"

"I have four across here," Tyler said, lifting his t shirt up and showing the four incisions across his lower abdomen.

"Oh, wow," Josh said. "Brave boyfriend."

Tyler giggled and blushed shyly.

Josh grinned and hugged him tightly. "Love you."

"I-I love you too."

So the boys snuggled into Tyler's bed, watching a movie. Josh kissed Tyler's scars when they started hurting, Tyler's mom walking in with a smile.

"Hey guys," she said. "I brought you both dinner."

"Thanks, momma," Tyler smiled.

"Thank you so much, Kelly," Josh said.

Kelly smiled and nodded. "Brownies or ice cream for dessert? Or both?"

"Both," Tyler smiled sleepily. He was already starting to get tired. The surgery really had worn him out.

Kelly headed downstairs, the boys eating their meals together quietly.

"What have I missed in school?" Tyler asked.

"Not much," Josh said. He and Tyler were both high school juniors, both 17. "No tests or anything."

"Ok," Tyler said softly.

"Mhm," he hummed. "When do I get to take you out on a date?"

"I can't leave the house for 7-10 days," Tyler said. "But after that we could go out to eat or something. Just no walking around a whole lot."

"I guess I'll just have to carry ya," Josh said with a goofy grin, pressing his nose against Tyler's.

Tyler giggled shyly and blushed, pressing his nose back against Josh's. "I-I Love you."

"I looooooooove you too," Josh grinned, kissing Tyler's nose.

Then, Kelly walked back in.

"Oh, wow," Tyler said as he saw the extravagant dessert his mom had made. "Thank you, momma. Y-you really didn't need to do all this."

"My baby boy just had surgery," Kelly said, kissing the top of Tyler's head. "And his boyfriend is over. How could I not?"

She kissed both boys' heads then headed downstairs before texting Tyler about an hour later he needed to take his pain meds.

"I can grab them, honey," Josh said. "Sit tight. I'll be right back."

Tyler nodded, snuggling back into his bed and continuing to watch his show.

Josh returned with the medicine and a glass of water a few minutes later. He was smiling and blushing a bit.

"Why're you blushy?" Tyler asked.

"Your mom showed me the video of you screaming my name telling me I better 'get my butt over there or I wasn't allowed to touch your butt' while you were on anesthesia," he giggled.

"I told her not to show you that one," Tyler groaned.

"I wasn't even there, TyTy," Josh giggled. "Why did you think I'd suddenly appear in the car?"

"I dunno."

"Well do I still get to touch your butt?"

"In 7-10 days."

Josh chuckled and nodded, kissing the side of Tyler's head. "Great, baby. Love you."
