"C'mon, Ty," Josh said, reaching his hands out to his fiancé. "Let's go have some fun."

"I-I want to, Joshie," Tyler said. "I really, really do, but I've gotta study. I have finals i-"

"In 14 days. I know, baby. I know. But you've been studying for the entire semester. We haven't gone on a date in two months. Let me take you out."

"I-"

"We're only engaged once, Tyler. We might as well have fun while we can."

Tyler sighed but nodded, moving his laptop off of his lap and putting all his papers in their proper places. He took his glasses off and stood up, Josh grinning widely.

He slid his hand into Tyler's, leading him out the front door of their home.

"I'm sorry I've been such a stick in the mud lately, Joshua," Tyler sighed. "I promise I'll be better after finals."

"Hey, don't you worry about that," Josh said, kissing the back of Tyler's hand. "We're gonna go have fun tonight. No thinking about anything school related."

Tyler smiled shyly and nodded. "Where're we going?"

"We, my dear, are going to the best club in Columbus."

"I've never done that before," Tyler giggled.

"What?! You've never been to a club?!"

"Nope."

"How did I not know that?!" Josh exclaimed. "We're gonna have fun tonight. You're gonna love that."

"I don't like loud noises, Joshie."

"Oh, yeah. Well, you might not like that part. But we get to dance! And I get to show you off!"

And Josh held true to that.

The whole night, he danced with Tyler, showing him off. He always knew how to make his fiancé blush and feel special.

He adored him.

Goodness, he adored Tyler.

They sang loudly, danced with each other, kissed, and were easily the cutest couple there.

Afterwards, they went back out to Josh's car, both giggling and kissing each other.

"That was so fun, Joshie," Tyler smiled, getting on his toes so he could kiss his lips. "Thank you for that."

"Who said we were done?!" Josh exclaimed. "I'm hungry! Let's go get cupcakes."

Tyler giggled and nodded, walking hand in hand with Josh down the street to the cupcake shop. They bought their treats, tyler sitting on Josh's lap as he ate.

They headed home, and for the first time since he had started med school, Tyler walked past all of his papers for school and went straight to bed with Josh, snuggling up with him and watching a movie before falling asleep.

It was an amazing night.
