"Ok," Tyler laughed softly as he and his husband got into bed the next night. "I've been thinking all day and I finally have a weird secret."

"TELL ME!" Josh yelled excitedly.

"Well... when I was in high school I wanted people to call me meerkat."

"What?"

"Meerkat. Like the animal."

Josh took in a shaky deep breath, trying not to laugh. "Why?"

"I don't know. I thought it was cool, I guess," Tyler giggled.

"Out of all the names you could've been called, you chose meerkat?"

"Yeah. So I was the weird kid who didn't have any friends but was really good at basketball that wanted to be called meerkat."

"Baby, that's so..." Josh laughed, trying not to snort. "That's so bad. I'm sorry, but that's not... baby, why?"

Tyler was just giggling and giggling. He realized he really was kind of weird in high school.

Josh was laughing as well. He always knew his husband was weird back then, but not that weird.

"I can't wait till we go to your 10 year high school reunion and they see the weird kid who was really good at basketball and wanted to be called Meerkat looks like now," he chuckled.

Tyler giggled and hugged Josh's neck tightly. "I love you."
