"Hey, babe," Josh said.

"H-hi," Tyler replied.

"I'm at the store, uh..." he said as he picked up a box of condoms and examined it. "What all do I need to get?"

"I-I don't know," Tyler replied. "I thought you were the one who knew this kind of stuff."

"Oh, wow," Josh said, his eyes wide as he saw the XXL condoms, picking them up out of pure curiously.

"What?" Tyler asked.

"Nothing," Josh replied. "Nothing. I know I'm getting the sex stuff. I know what I'm getting for that. I mean like... do you want me to like bring candles or flowers or food or anything?"

"I um... I don't know," Tyler said. "I-if you want, I-I guess."

"Ok," Josh said. "I'll see you in a lil bit."

"O-ok."

"Love you," Josh said.

"Love you too."

Josh knocked on Tyler's door about thirty minutes later, Tyler opening it.

"Hey, honey," Josh said.

"H-hi," Tyler said.

Josh came in and set the bags down, turning around and handing Tyler a bouquet of roses. "I know you're nervous for tonight, so I got these for you."

"Thank you," Tyler said, taking the flowers and kissing Josh's cheek before putting them in water.

Josh suddenly took his hand and used the other to wrap his arm around his waist. "I love you so much and you're so beautiful to me."

Tyler blushed softly.

"I-I just... I know you're nervous for tonight about your body and everything, a-and I think your body's beautiful. I-I'm really excited to get to love on your body."

Tyler's blush deepened.

Josh suddenly kissed his lips, Tyler kissing him back gently.

"I-I really want to make you feel special tonight," Josh said. "I-I got some candles a-and stuff," he said. "J-just so you can be more comfortable."

Tyler was so lucky to have a boyfriend as caring and thoughtful as Josh.

He hugged Josh's neck, kissing his cheek.

"I love you," he said quietly.

"I-I love you more," Josh replied.

They then went upstairs to Tyler's room, Josh lighting the candles while Tyler stripped.

Josh took his own clothes off as well before seeing Tyler was standing there with his arms crossed over his stomach insecurely.

"W-we can turn the lights off if t-that's more comfortable for you," Josh said.

Tyler nodded, Josh turning off the lights so only the candles gave the room light.

They got into bed, Tyler underneath Josh.

Josh really, honestly didn't know what he was doing, but he acted like it so Tyler wouldn't be even more nervous.

He gently kissed Tyler's lips then worked his way around his body, down his neck and chest and belly, up his thighs.

"You're really beautiful, Tyler," Josh said. "I-I know you don't believe it, b-but you are."

Tyler didn't say anything.

"Y-you're the most beautiful thing in the world to me," Josh said. "I love you so much."

"I-I love you too," Tyler said softly.

"I-I'm really excited to get to do this with you," Josh said. "R-really, really excited."

Tyler was excited, he guessed, but his nerves distracted him from that excitement.

"I-is there anything I can do to make you more comfortable?" Josh asked. He knew Tyler was nervous. Not only had he told him before, but he could just see it in his eyes.

Tyler shook his head. It was already dark, they were already completely under the covers. Josh couldn't really even see his body, to be honest. He could just feel it. He knew Josh loved him and all, but he just hated his body so much. He wouldn't blame Josh for never speaking to him again after seeing his body.

But Josh thought he was gorgeous. He didn't understand why Tyler thought he was fat. His stomach was flat, his arms were even a bit toned. He loved him and his body so, so much.

"I can start now i-if you want," Josh said.

Tyler nodded.

"I-I love you," Josh reminded him.

"I-I love you too."

They had their first time. Sure, it was a bit awkward and painful, but they got through it.

Afterward, Josh made sure he did absolutely everything he had read about to make Tyler feel comfortable. He cleaned him up, kissed him, said he loved him, got him water and food. He then crawled back into bed with him and held him.

"D-did you like it?" Josh asked, hoping Tyler would say yes.

Honestly, Tyler didn't love it all that much. It hurt a lot, but he knew Josh was really hoping he did. He nodded. "Y-yeah. I-It was fun."

Josh smiled widely, wrapping his arms around him. "I-I liked it a lot too. W-we should do it again sometime."

Tyler nodded, playing with his own fingers.

"Y-you didn't actually like it, did you?" Josh

"I-I didn't say that," Tyler said.

"You'd be saying more if you did like it," Josh replied.

"I-I did like it," Tyler said. "I-it kind of hurt, b-but I liked it."

"Why didn't you say it hurt?" Josh asked. "I-I would've stopped."

"Y-you we're liking it. I didn't wanna make you stop."

"Sex is about both of us," Josh said. "Not just me."

"I know," Tyler said. "It's okay, though. W-we got through our first time and it'll only get better from here."

Josh nodded, kissing his temple.

The next morning, Josh made Tyler breakfast. He had spent the night because Tyler's parents were gone.

He brought it to him in bed, lying down with him and wrapping his arms around him.

"Do you wanna do it again tonight?" Tyler asked softly.

"D-do you?" Josh asked.

Tyler nodded.

"O-Okay," Josh said. "I-I'll make it not hurt tonight."

Tyler kissed his cheek. "Don't worry too much about it."

"Will you tell me if it hurts?" Josh asked.

Tyler nodded.

Josh nodded, kissing his boyfriend's lips. "It'll be better. Promise."

And oh, was Josh right.
