Josh: can we talk?

Tyler: um, yeah, sure.

Josh: can you come over tonight?

Tyler: yeah. What time?

Josh: idk

Josh: like 7

Tyler: sure. Is something wrong?

Josh: no. Just need to talk to you about something. I've been meaning to tell you for a while.

Tyler: Ok. Be there at 7.

At 7:00, Tyler knocked on the door to Josh's home.

"Hey," Josh said.

"Hi," Tyler smiled. "What's up? Why'd you want me t-"

Tyler was immediately pulled against Josh, their lips colliding.

At first he just stood there, his eyes wide open as Josh kissed him, but he eventually closed his eyes and gently placed his hands on his best friend's face while he kissed him back.

"I-I Love you," Josh admitted. "I-I've been in love with you since the day we met a-and I just can't take you not knowing anymore."

"Josh," Tyler said softly, looking into Josh's eyes. "I-I love you too."

"R-really?"

Tyler quickly nodded. "I've loved you for years now."

Josh let out a breath of relief. He had been so nervous as to how Tyler was going to react, but this outcome could not have been better.

The boys went to Josh's bedroom, Josh informing Tyler that his parents were out of town.

They spent the weekend kissing. They told one another all the things they loved about each other and how relieved they both were the other felt the same way.

"I love you, Tyler," Josh smiled as they lied in bed together that night, his fingers running through Tyler's hair.

"I love you more, Joshua," Tyler smiled.

And they lived happily ever after.
