"I have one final surprise for you," Tyler smiled as he sat on his husband's belly in bed the night of Josh's birthday.

Josh grinned widely. "I sure do hope you didn't spend a whole lot on it since it's gonna be coming right off..."

Tyler giggled, rolling his eyes as he shook his head. He leaned forward and kissed Josh's forehead. "Dirty boy. I think you'll like this a whole lot more."

"Impossible," Josh said. "There is absolutely nothing in this world I love more than my husband naked."

"I'll be right back," Tyler said, disappearing for several minutes before coming back with a piece of paper, going back to sitting on Josh's belly.

"This very well could be the most important paper of your life," Tyler said.

"What about our marriage certificate?"

"Okay, the second most important paper of your life."

"What about a printed-out photo of you naked?"

"Still the second most import paper of your life," Tyler giggled.

Josh had no idea what it could be.

"Are you ready?" Tyler asked with a wide smile.

Josh nodded.

"Oh my goodness," Tyler said excitedly, eventually handing Josh the paper.

Josh unfolded the paper and looked at it, Tyler grabbing his phone and recording him.

Josh read the paper out loud. "Dear Josh and Tyler, thank you so much for your time and commitment to the adoption agency. It is incredibly appreciated and we would like to congratulate you on your success," Josh said, his eyes wide at he looked at his husband. "O-oh my god, Tyler..."

"Keep reading!"

"We have decided you are a perfect fit for Ruby Lane. She expressed both before and after each of your visits how excited she was and how comfortable she felt with you. She has never made that connection with anyone else. Please know she is, in her words, "super duper duper excited to get to have daddies to do tea parties and snuggle with." Again, we are so thankful for you both, and Ruby is too. Congratulations, and we'll see you soon."

Josh set the paper down, covering his face with his hands as he started to cry.

"Josh," Tyler cooed with a smile as his eyes filled with tears. He ended the video and set his phone down before crawling up to him and hugging him tightly. "You're gonna be a daddy, Joshua."

Josh continued to cry, hugging Tyler back tightly.

He eventually composed himself, looking at Tyler with teary eyes. "W-we're gonna be dad's."

Tyler smiled at him, kissing his lips softly.

"W-we've gotta have so much sex now," Josh said. "W-we can't have sex after we get her. T-that'd just be weird. L-let's have sex ten times a day."

"We can still have sex after we get her, baby," Tyler giggled. "We just have to make sure she's in bed and we're quiet."

Josh was so, so excited to get to be a dad. He and Tyler had been trying for months and months to be accepted into the adoption program, especially after falling in love with a little three year old girl named Ruby. They all immediately got along so well, and they knew that she was meant to be their daughter.

On the ride home, Josh sat in the back seat with Ruby because he was just so excited.

She was asking loads of questions.

"What's your faaaaaaaaaaavorite snack?" She asked.

"I like fruit snacks. Fruit snacks are pretty good. What's your favorite snack?"

Ruby gasped. "I LOVE FRUIT SNACKS!" She exclaimed. "WE'RE GON' BE THE BESTEST OF FRENS!"

Tyler and Josh both laughed, Tyler looking at them in the rear view every so often with a smile.

"What's the bestest gift you've eeeeeeever got?"

"Finding out that TyTy and I get to be your daddies," Josh said with a wide smile. "Definitely."
