"There's my baby girl!" Tyler exclaimed as he entered his daughter's nursery, turning on the lights before picking the excited baby up from her crib. "Hi, RuRu!"

"HAJSJAKKDKDKAKA!" Ruby babbled as her daddy picked her up.

She gave him a big hug and a kissie on the nose, Tyler carrying her out to the kitchen to see her other daddy.

"G'morning, princess!" Josh exclaimed as he saw his husband carrying her in, going to pick her up and kissing all over her face.

"HAHKDKSMAKLXLS!"

"I know! Mornings are exciting, aren't they?" Josh grinned, kissing her cheek. "Oof, you stink, girlfriend," he said after getting a whiff of Ruby's diaper.

"RuRu! I just changed you!" Tyler exclaimed, unable to smile as he saw his baby girl giggling happily, clapping her hands. He took her into his arms and went back to her nursery to change her diaper.

"Sheesh, Ruby," he said after changing her and putting her in new clothes because she had dirtied the first outfit. "Remind us to never give you apples again. That messed your tummy up real bad."

Ruby just babbled on and on as she usually did, looking over Tyler's shoulder as he carried her.

"Ok, we should be good for at least a few hours," Tyler said when he returned to the kitchen with her.

"That's good, cause JishJish made pancakes!" Josh grinned.

"Yayyyy pancakes, right RuRu? You loooooove pancakes," Tyler smiled, waving her arms for her.

Ruby let out a yawn, resting her head on his shoulder.

"What?! You can't be tired already! You've been awake half an hour! We've got a fun day planned!" Tyler said.

He put Ruby in her high chair, giggling as she immediately perked up when Josh put the plate of food in front of her.

"You're soooo our kid," Josh chuckled, kissing her forehead.

Tyler fed her the pieces of pancake Josh had cut up, giggling as she clapped her hands and hummed happily.

"We're gonna go to the aquarium, RuRu!" Tyler said with a smile. "Are you excited to see the fishies??"

"FISHIE?!"

"Yeah!!" Tyler smiled. "Lots 'n lots of fishies."

Ruby was beyond excited to see the fishies now.

So after she finished her breakfast, Tyler dressed her in a cute little dress with sea creatures on the skirt.

"You look soooooo cute, RuRu," Tyler smiled as he put a matching bow in her hair. "Sooooo beautiful."

The boys took Ruby to the aquarium, the baby clapping excitedly at everything she saw that she liked.

So everything.

Ruby was just a happy baby. She loved everyone and everything.

"Do ya see the jelly fish, RuRu?" Josh smiled as the pudgy sat on his shoulders.

"DA JELLIES?!"

"Yeah! Do you see them?"

"YA."

Josh and Tyler giggled, Josh leaning downward so Tyler could kiss Ruby's nose.

"RuRu, you better not poop while you're on my shoulders," Josh advised. "That wouldn't be cool."

"She's good right now," Tyler said. "I can't smell anything. Yet, at least."

Josh chuckled, kissing his husband's lips softly.

"It's Wednesday, by the way," Tyler hummed with a smile.

"Best day of the week," Josh smirked, holding Tyler's waist.

Wednesday's were nights Josh and Tyler made love.

With a baby, it was hard to find time to have by themselves that wasn't just sleeping. One of them was always working or cooking or cleaning or playing with Ruby.

And it was really important to both of them to remain a strong, connected couple, so they made sure at least one night a week, Everything was pushed aside and they could just be with one another.

And sometimes, they'd get extra lucky and Tyler or Josh's parents would offer to take Ruby for the night.

But that was typically hard for Tyler because he would miss his princess so much. Though, as soon as he and Josh were in bed, he'd realize everything would be fine.

After the aquarium and lunch, Ruby fell asleep in Tyler's arms, it being past her nap time.

So they went home and put her to bed, lying down on the couch together and taking naps themselves.

Parenting was hard work.

They eventually woke up to Ruby crying.

"Ohhhhh, princess," Tyler pouted as he entered the room, picking her up. "I'm so sorry. Daddy's so sorry. He didn't mean to leave you all alone."

Ruby stopped crying as soon as Tyler was holding her, hugging his neck as she sniffled.

He carried her into the kitchen, Josh kissing her forehead before they cooked dinner.

They all ate together, putting Ruby down after her bath to go to sleep for the night.

"Night night, RuRu," Tyler smiled, kissing her nose. "I love you. Yes I do. I love you sooooooooo much. Daddy loves you sooooo much. He's never gonna stop loving his little baby princess. Because he loves her sooo-"

"Ty," Josh chuckled from the doorway. "C'mon. Time for you and me time."

"Ok, sorry, RuRu," he giggled softly. "My Prince Charming is here."

He kissed her one last time before turning off the lights and following Josh to their room.

He loved his perfect life with his perfect little family.

He wouldn't have anything any other way.
