Star swung her leg over Marco and stood beside him, then lent in to hug him again. Marco smiled and as they pulled apart, he said,

"Thank you again, Star."

"No problemo," Star grinned. "I'm just so happy you're okay again."

"Yeah..." Marco's smile dropped suddenly. "How long was I out?" He asked quietly.

Star's face fell. She looked at the floor. "A long time," she whispered.

"What happened?" Marco asked, sitting up against the wall behind him.

"It's... a very long and complicated story."

Before she could begin, the doors were flung open and Tom, the king and queen and Doctor Tina all ran in.

"Star!!" Screamed Moon. "What do you think you're---" she stopped short at the scene before her: Star standing beside Marco, who was sat up, awake and very much himself.

"What is going on here?" She demanded.

"You're awake!" Cried Mrs Diaz and Tom together, all of them rushing towards the bed. They took it in turns hugging Marco tightly. Mr Diaz was trying not to cry. There were beaming grins all around.

"This is wonderful news," Tina said, checking Marco over. "Let me just check your vitals and levels."

As she worked, the king said, confusion lacing in his voice,

"What happened? Tom here said that Star was going to do something crazy to help Marco. We came at once."

Star glowered at Tom. He had the decency to look ashamed of himself.

"I think everyone here deserves to know the whole story," she said, looking around at her mother and father, the doctor, Marco's parents and Tom.

"Go ahead," Mrs Diaz said. "I still don't understand everything."

Star took a deep breath, and begun.
