DISCLAIMER

Okay. As an author, I feel the need to restate things and clear a few things up. So here's a few points for you readers.

Point 1: (Y/N)'s Quirk/Mental Condition, Persona, is based loosely on Persona 5 and a book titled 'The Secret Lives They Never Knew' by Anime_Multiplay_ Normally I ask someone before using a Quirk idea for a book but I neglected to do so in this case. And I'm deeply sorry for that. So to those of you just now discovering this book, I employ you to read The Secret Lives They Never Knew before reading this one. Believe me, it'll be worth while. (Y/N)'s Personas are based off of Deku's Personas in that story. But also with elements of Izaya, Shizuo, Ciel, Sans, among others thrown in as well. GO READ THE SECRET LIVES THEY NEVER KNEW. Anime_Multiplay_ is an amazing author and deserves a lot more attention. GO READ THEIR STORIES. I reference them a lot in this book. And Anime_Multiplay_ if you ever see this, I'm very sorry for not asking before using the Persona Quirk idea!

Point 2: QUIT ASSUMING (Y/N) IS RELATED TO ENDEAVOR. FOR F*CKS SAKE PEOPLE. Not EVERY SINGLE D*MN FIRE QUIRK can be traced back to the Todoroki line. And just because (Y/N) is related to A TOP PRO HERO doesn't mean it's F*CKING ENDEAVOR. Chill with the assumptions. This book has a lot of stupid plot twists so just hold your little theorizing horses down a tad will ya?

Point 3: Aizawa and (Y/N) have a love hate relationship. (Y/N) gets really annoyed by Aizawa at times and by (Y/N) I mean Sparky. I personally love Aizawa its just that in this book I wanted (Y/N) and Aizawa to have this kind of back and forth between them for comedy purposes. (Y/N) does to some extent respect Aizawa and Aizawa does in some form respect (Y/N).

Point 4: This book is NOT for the faint of heart. Light To Darkness is a story about moral corruption and dark romance. There are occasional mentions of suicide or self harm, sometimes both. COOL YOUR JETS I PUT WARNINGS ON THESE CHAPTERS IF IT GETS BAD. (Y/N) deals with her own inner demons. Years of abuse have not been kind to her. And she's used to things she loved being ripped away from her. Hell, the story's d*mn title and cover should've given you a good hint about where this story is headed. And if you really need it hammered into your head? Glance at the tags. It contains a few spoilers for the big twist, but hey. They're there for a reason.

Point 5: This is my first Todoroki x Reader. Normally it takes me working on a single book for a while to get a feel for how I should write x Readers for this character. The first one may be my favorite under certain circumstances, but that doesn't mean its the best. I've made multiple other BNHA stories so if you don't like this one, check out the others.

Point 6: I love Villain AUs. So don't be surprised at some of the darker twists in this book. Honestly, when you look at the cover, the title, and some of my other stories, you start noticing a trend with my books. I play with moral debates and what if scenarios. So you know what? Be prepared for everything really.

Point 7: Normally when I finish a story, I'll put something of a note at the end to tell readers where the inspiration for the book came from, along with a few credits where credit is due. I didn't get the chance to do that with this book, and I may do it sometime in the future. But not now. I really enjoyed working on Light To Darkness, and there are only more bulls*it plot twists to come in the second book. So stay tuned readers!

Final Note:
This story gets really confusing. I threw a lot of things in this book and its become a pile of drama, references, and a s*it ton of bulls*it plot twists. I advise keeping a notebook handy and noting some important details or things that might become important later. I promise you, things should make sense by the end if you'll give this....weird a*s story a chance. This story also has a second book out called Heart of Darkness. So check that out if you want once you finish this story. I have a lot of books to manage so don't expect updates too often. But I promise you, I never truly abandon a story. I can leave it alone for years and then suddenly come back with a wave of inspiration. I NEVER abandon a story truly. I've only adopted out ONE story before hand, and even so, that was to my co-writer who has helped me with a lot of my books before, so I, in a way, still help with that story from time to time. I love my books, I love writing. And each book I truly have a passion for. I update when I FEEL like the next chapter is ready. I update when I DECIDE that a new chapter is ready. I can be a bit sadistic and leave you on a cliff hanger for a while. But you always get the answer eventually.
