My PoV

Lunchtime one week later

I pay for lunch and slip out of the cafeteria.

I fly up onto the roof to eat alone. I turn my back to the sun and open my wings so they could soak it in. It was an amazing feeling.

I eat my lunch and work on some homework for another class. I was so absorbed in the work I didn't hear a door open and close.

Todoroki's PoV

(Y/N) had been a bit distant all day. I was going to sit with her during lunch but had seen her fly up onto the roof. I followed her up to keep her company and because I was curious. It took me awhile to find a staircase that lead up to the roof .

She was sitting on the edge, wings spread to soak in the sun and doing homework. "(Y/N)?" I called. She jumped and fell backwards. I sprinted to the edge and feared the worst. I looked over and saw her fly back up. "Did your dad also ask you to kill me?" She laughs when she lands.

"N-no! I would never-" (Y/N) raised a hand to stop me. "It was a joke. Jeez you're serious." She rolls her eyes. I sigh and feel myself smile a bit. "You should smile more. You don't look like you're ready to kill someone." She was relaxed and didn't seem nervous. I liked it.

As if realizing what she said she looked down a bit. "Sorry. The adrenaline makes me act weird," she explains.

Before I could say I liked this side of her the bell rang. I begin to walk towards the door but she grabs my wrist and pulls me over the edge. My stomach flips as we free fall. She grabs my waist and beats her wings. We land gracefully in front of the school.

"That's for scaring me off the edge," she says and pulls me to class.
