This is my first ever fanfiction so please bear with me. I hope you enjoy!

I arrive at the bus station panting for breath. First day of school and I was already behind schedule. I straighten my gray UA uniform and push my (H/L) (H/C) hair out of my eyes.

I look around the station and see plenty of other students already there, all looking just as nervous as me.

Except for one.

A few feet away from me stood a boy with red hair on the left side of his head and white on the right. I stared at his calm posture in bewilderment. As if sensing my stare, he turned his head to look at me. My (E/C) eyes locked with his one blue and one gray eyes. An angry red scar surrounded his blue eye on the right side of his face.

I smiled and gave the boy a small wave. He just looked away. My smile fell and I dropped my hand. So much for making friends. Maybe I'll have better luck in class.

The bus pulled up and I sat down. Suddenly feeling paranoid I rummage through my backpack to make sure I have everything.

'OK I have everything. Stop worrying so much.'

The bus stops and I pick up my stuff. I notice that the boy with duo-colored had fallen asleep.

I summon a small orb of water and toss it. I cringe as it hits him square in the face. I had meant to hit his shoulder.

His eyes open slowly and I ran off the bus before he could figure out who had done it. I ran up to the front doors of UA and begin to search for my class.
