Izuku POV

"I like Todoroki.."

OH MY GOD!!

I SAID IT!

I SAID IT, I SAID IT, I SAID IT!

That felt so good!

I analyzed Iidas face as he took in the news. His eyes got huge, his eyebrows raised, and his mouth hung open in shock.

"Iida.?"

Why is he acting so surprised? I don't even think Todoroki would act this shocked.

"Midoriya..." Iida began.

"Wait! I know he's my friend! It's just I've had this feeling for a long, long time. It was only recently that I kinda.. figured out what it meant and.. and I'm sure of it.."

He stares at me, "You like him?"

"I like him," I felt my cheeks get red, but I kept my composure.

Iida looked lost in thought. He was still processing what I told him, but there also seemed to be other things on his mind.

I speak up, "Iida, you can't tell anyone, okay?"

He turned his head to me with his surprised expression back on his face again, "Midoriya, you don't understand how much a can not do that."

"No! I'm serious! You're the person I told because I can trust you! I'll tell him eventually but I can't yet, it would be too weird..." I almost hang my head with shame.

"You'll tell him? You swear?" Iida almost laughed.

"What is it?" I ask.

"Nothing, it's just that I've heard that one before."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Don't worry about it," Iida said, "Will you tell him soon?"

"Yes, I'm sure of it..." I smiled and looked away from Iida, "I don't wanna put it off..."

The water turned off from my room.

That was a fast shower, I can't talk any more with Iida now. He might hear it.

"Alright, I have a few things to do before bed, I'll see you tomorrow."

Iida got up from his spot and walked to his room. "Oh, and.." he turned around, "Thank you for trusting me."

"Yeah, of course," I said and he walked into his room.

I took in a deep breath.

Ahhhhhhhhh~~~

It's like a weight has been lifted off me...
I know it's gonna be a lot harder to tell Todoroki, but still... Just telling someone so I don't feel alone is nice.

I get up and head into my room.

When I open the door, Todoroki is standing at the dresser in front of a mirror catching me off guard. He has a towel on his head and was using both hands to dry his hair with the towel.

My eyes started to drift down.

All he had was a towel wrapped around his lower half.

"Huh?" I heard him say. My eyes shot back up to meet his. He was staring at me and blinked in slight surprise.

I felt my face get red from the bottom and puff steam out the top of my head.

OH MAN!! I SHOULD OF WAITED MORE!!
NO!!!! HE MIGHT OF BEEN CHANGING!!!

"BATHROOM!" Without waiting for a response I scrabbled for the bathroom and shut and lock the door.

I approached the sink, leaning on it, while looking at my face closely in the mirror.

I was right... I'm beat red..

I splashed water on my face too cool down.

Alright, just a few deep breaths.

I better go back out there. I ran into this bathroom while being fairly panicked, he might think I'm...

I shake my head.

Ahh! Enough! Just get back out there.

I open the door and caught a glimpse of Todorokis back as he slipped on his shirt.

"Oh, Midoryia, that lobster dinner hit you weird too huh?"

"What? Oh no, I'm fine.." I guess he didn't notice maybe?

"Ah, okay.  Are you heading to bed?"

"Yeah, I am."

"Okay, me too," Todoroki got under the covers and turned so I couldn't see his face. I got in on my side and faced away from him.

We still have another night before going back home and I definitely want tell him before we leave...

So that's what I'll do.

I can't believe I walked in on him in that state. I also stared at him for such a long time.

He probably thinks I'm so weird.

Todoroki POV

Dammit Todoroki! Why did you ask him about the lobster dinner! Not everyone has problems with shellfish like you do!

Iida POV

"Let me see..." I said aloud to myself as I look at a clipboard with a list of the students with their room numbers.

It's time for my nightly check up with my class. And no, this wasn't required of me by the school, but it's required of me if I want to be a good class President.

But still.... I can't believe Midoryia told me his feelings for Todoroki.

And Midoryia  made me promise not to tell, but I made that same promise to Todoroki!!

AHH!! Such a dilemma!!! But fixing this mess would be betrayal! So I must keep this to myself.

I guess the real danger is Uraraka... who can practically sniff out when I'm hiding something. It would be better to just avoid her then.

But that doesn't matter right now! I must preform my role as the class president!

Now! Let's start with this room.

Kirishima POV

"Aww! He's actually really cute!" Sero said as he played with the cat using a piece of string, "You guys just found him?"

"Yeah!" Denki said, "And Kirishima wanted to abandon him!"

"What!" I say, "It's a stay cat! You can't abandon a stray cat! And in any other situation I would of taken it in, but we are on a school trip and it's irresponsible to bring a stray into a hotel room."

I look towards Bakugou who was sitting on the end of the couch looking at the cat chase the string. He looked to be smiling.

"iT'S iRrESpOnsIBLe to BriNG.. whatever! We're parents now that's all that matters!" Denki said while walking over to the cat and picking it up, "Isn't that right little sparky! Little sparky, spark, spark!"

"Whatever, it's still a bad idea," I say.

"For what reason?" Denki said, "Who here is gonna rat us out? And it's not like anyone else is gonna find out about this."

*knock knock*

"Huh?" Sero said.

"Did someone just knock?" Denki asked.

Denki, Sero, and Bakugou looked at me.

"What? I don't know who it is?"

A voice outside the door spoke, "Hello! This is your Class President! May I come in?"

"Motherfucker!" Denki whispered, "He's like!!! The one person we can't have find out!"

"What do we do?" Sero said.

"Shhhh! Be quiet! He will think we are asleep if we don't say anything!" I say.

"Oh! Good idea!" Denki says.

"ACHOOO!"

"WHAT THE FUCK SERO! We said be quiet!" Denki said!

"It's not my fault I'm allergic!" He defended himself.

*knock knock* "Excuse me?"

Shit....

Gotta think...

"Okay!" I say, "You two, go into my room with the cat, I'll get rid of him."

They obeyed and I went to the door. Bakugou stayed seated and still hasn't spoken.

"Hey Iida, what's up?"

"Oh, nothing... I just want to check in with each of you...." he somewhat forced his way in and walked right past me, "Good evening Bakugou."

"Iida.." he said.

"Alright, where's Sero and Denki?" Iida asked.

I paused in a fake ponder while bringing my hand to my chin to really sell it, "I'm not too sure, I think they went to a convenience store."

"ACHOO!"

Son of a....

Iida turned to where he heard the sneeze which was the room that Denki and Sero were stowed away.

He started walking.

NO!!

I dived in front of the door blocking his path.

"Iida! You can't go in there!"

He was caught off guard. He composed himself, "And why is that?"

"Well, it's because I have something important to tell you.."

"Then go on..."

My eyes dart around the room.

Man I really dug myself deep with this one. What would warrant him forgetting to go in the room.

My eyes land on Bakugou who was watching everything that's happening. Our eyes lock.

"I love you," I say out loud.

"...Kirishima..." Iida says with a faint voice.

Oh, that's right, I said it to him.

"I... I didn't know you felt this way.." Iida looked away from me blushing.

Why is he... blushing???

Whatever! Just roll with it!

"Yes, yes, I know, but Iida please.." I place my hand on his shoulder, "Consider my confession for at least some time..."

He looked up to me.

Are his eyes... brimming with tears?

"But, Kirishima-"

I put my finger to his lips, "No, shh, don't say another word," I turn my head and close my eyes, "Now please leave! I can't bare looking at you in the state that you're  in... I might... listen to my urges..."

"Oh! Oh my!" Iida turned and left through the door.

I let out a sign of relief. Man, that could of gone better, but it sure could of gone worse.

The door to my room opened and out came rolling with laughter was Sero and Denki.

"AHAHAHAHA!! WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT!!" Denki was on his back while on the floor holding his stomach. Sero was on all fours next to him practically shacking with laughter.

"I MIGHT LISTEN TO MY URGES! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!!! AHAHAHAHA!!" Sero started smacking the ground in rhythm with his laughs.

"I CANT BELIEVE YOU TOLD HIM YOU LOVED HIM! AHHHABAH" Denki was now whipping tears from his eyes.

Bakugou got up off the couch and walked to the bedroom, "Well, at least you got rid of him," he walked into the room and closed the door as Denki and Sero started to calm their laughter down.

I closed the bedroom door behind me and leaned against it.

The next day, Kyle POV

I sat slumped in a chair in the hotel room I shared with Iida waiting for him to finish his shower so I could have my turn. I scrolled mindlessly through my phone. Mostly just looking at anime boys. It's my favorite past time.

I heard the hair dryer turn off in the bathroom then the door slid open and iida emerged with fresh and shiny hair. He sat at the foot of his bed facing away from me as he put socks on.

"Hey, Kyle?" He spoke.

"What," I say without evening looking up from my phone.

"Have you ever been... confessed to?"

... Hold up...

Now my interest is peaked.

I leaned up in my seat, "No I haven't, why do you ask?"

"Oh! Well... I was just wondering..." he paid no attention to me.

Oho! He's definitely hiding something...

I get up as quietly as I could and start to lerk in his direction while holding my breath. I inch closer to him. I bring my hand up now just centimeters away from his exposed neck skin.

Easy does it...

He whipped his head around and caught me trying to get a touch, "What are you doing." He stood.

"Just one little touch.." I say, "That's all I need." I lunge toward him but he zooms to the opposite side of the room.

Dammit, "Iida, don't make this harder than it has to be..."

"You'll never catch me," Iida zooms out of the room.

Todoroki POV

"Come on Uraraka... she should've been here five minutes ago..." I tap my foot waiting for her as I stood next to Izuku in the lobby of the hotel.

We were fully decked out in beach attire and Izuku has never looked so cute! I'm talking the short cargo shorts that show up to mid thigh with a loose button up shirt that was navy blue with white line art of lily flowers. He was clutching a red, white, and blue and probably All Might towel, and has his backpack with him.

I should buy us matching bucket hats.. that would just be perfect!

I had on fitted jean shorts with a purple t-shirt that was blank. I had my back pack filled with anything I might need.

"Should we just head there without her?" Izuku asked.

"I don't know, she might not find us if we head to the beach..."

Iida wasn't gonna head to the beach until around noon. Something about unfinished self imposed presidential duties that he didn't finish due to personal issues last night? I don't know really. He was being weird...

And Kyle ditched us today too because he agreed to help someone, but he wouldn't say what.

But hey! That is FINE by me! Alone with Izuku? At a beach? This is a romance if I've ever seen one.

"Guys! Sorry, I'm here!"

Spoke too soon, she made it.

"Alright! Let's get down there and get a good spot!" Uraraka started walking, "We need to find a spot with good sun, a nice breeze, plenty of space, and of course a good view of hot guys!"

She rummaged through her bag, "Oh crap! I forgot my binoculars! Be right back!" She ran back to the elevators.

Binoculars? Why would...?
You know what, I don't even care.

"TURBOOOOOOOOO," Iida came out from the stairwell. He ran through the lobby and out the doors.

Iida!?

"What is Iida running from?" Izuku asked out loud.

An elevator dinged as it reached the lobby. It opened and out walked Kyle.

Well, I have a pretty good idea of what he was running from now. 

Kyle spotted us immediately.

"Hey! Have you guys seen Iida? Damn him and those fast legs!" He shook his fist in the air.

Both Izuku and I pointed with our thumbs to the door Iida just ran through.

"Thanks lads," Kyle then went into a dead sprint to where Iida went.

Kirishima POV

"Denki! Would you quite splashing me!" Sero yelled out trying to splash back.

"Haha! You splash like a bitch!" Denki said back, "Come on Kirishima, why aren't you splashing back?"

I focused to look on the beach, "Sorry, I just feel bad for Bakugou. Why didn't he want to swim with us?"

"Who knows, he might not be a water kinda guy," Denki said.

"Well I don't think we should of left him alone."

"Nah, I think he likes sitting alone on the beach looking sad, probably helps him on his personal  journey that I'm sure he's having." Sero adjusted his goggles.

Hmph, I guess we can leave him on the beach for now.

It's just I was kinda hoping we could spend this time together...

"Hey guys! You know what I just realized!" Denki said as he made small waves in the water with his extended hands.

Both Sero and I looked at him.

"I could electrocute the water and kill everyone right now." He smiled.

"I'm going back to the beach.."

"Well I'm just saying! I wouldn't do it... without a reason!" Denkis voice faded out as I swam away.

I get to the shore and Bakugou had his face covered with a hat and sat under a beach umbrella while on a large towel.

He didn't look like he was sleeping, just resting.

Hmmm...

Alright, it's my mission to get him up and having fun.. let's see... what to do.. what to do...

I look around the beach for something we can do together.

Surfing? No

The boardwalk? No..

I look to the left of side of the beach.

OH! PERFECT!

I turn around and grab Bakugous arm.

He immediately snaps and removes his hat before looking at me, "What?"

"Look," I point to the left side of the beach, "Let's go play!"

He gets up and follows me.

Todoroki POV

"Wow Todoroki! It's so big!" Izuku said while looking down.

"Yeah, you think so?" I say back.

"Definitely, it's the biggest I've ever seen!" Izuku said still in awe.

I knew it was impressive, but I didn't know Izuku would be so amazed by the size of it.

"Well come on, let me see yours," I say to him.

He gets shy for a second, "Oh, um.. well."

He must be embarrassed.

"Don't be shy, just let me see.."

He looks up to me, "Okay..." he turns and points, "That's my sand castle over there!"

I looked to where he pointed and saw a sand castle standing about a foot high.

Because obviously, we were talking about our sand castles..

Yeah, my sand castle was definitely bigger, at least 3ft in hight with a moat, draw bridge, and decorative shells.

Maybe it wasn't a good idea to have a sand castle building contest.

"Here! Let me help build yours up." I walk over first and Izuku follows behind me, "The thing you wanna  do is make sure the sand isn't too wet, also, these stones would be good around the base." I started to build up the castle.

"Hey, lets put a big tower in the middle!" Izuku had a bucket of wet sand and flipped it upside down in the middle of the castle.

"Oh, I don't know if this is cheating but, if I use my quirk to freeze the water in the sand, it's easier to build on top of it."

Izuku looked at me with stars in his eyes, "Really!? That's such a good idea!" He smiled to me.

He has such a beautiful smile.

"Yeah." I smile back.

"LOOK OUT!"

*SWISH* *PSSHHHHHH*

Izuku and I both gasped as the sand castle suddenly exploded in our faces. I felt the sand hit my bare skin and a grainy texture in my mouth.

What was that!?

"Midoryia, are you okay?" I look over to him.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he said while rubbing his eye, "Just a little got in my eye.."

I look to our now ruined sand castle with a volleyball right in the middle of it, "Oh no, it's ruined, I'm sorry," I say.

"No, it's okay.." Izuku says.

A hand came down and palmed the volleyball to pick it up, "Maybe next time you two shouldn't build so close to the volleyball net."

I followed the arm up to see Bakugous face looking down at us.

Kirishima came rushing over, "Sorry guys, I didn't mean to hit the ball to you. Bakugo come on, don't bother them." Kirishima looked at Bakugo, but Bakugous eyes were locked on me. He was smiling in a devilish way.

Eh! Whata creep!

"Hey, you two," Bakugou said to Izuku and I, "Up for a game?"

"I'll go easy on you guys, at first at least," Bakugou said as he held the ball in his hands.

He had just finished explaining the game to us. Basically, it's best of three sets, first team to 21 points wins the set. 

"Hey Todoroki," Izuku said and came up next to me. He talked lightly, "Have you ever played volleyball before?"

"No.. but one time I was at a birthday party and this ballon was kinda half floating and-"

"Okay, I'm sure we'll be fine. I'll take the back left, you got back right." We went to our spots.

"Ready?" Bakugou shouts from his side. He's way back in the serving position.

Izuku and I get in a stance to receive the ball.

"Alright, game on." Bakugou throws the ball high in the air and starts his approach.

Such a high toss. I lower my stance.

He finishes his approach with a high jump and swings his arm around. His palm collides with the ball and

BOOM

It went soaring straight at Izuku. 

"MIDORIYA!"

It struck him in his right shoulder and knocked him down as it bounced off him and out of bounds.

"Oh, I forgot to say," Bakugou says from his side. I look to him, "Quirk use is encouraged."

His hand was still smoking from the explosion.

I grit my teeth.

Well ASSHOLE.. that would of been nice to know before we started.

I run to kneel down by Izuku, "Midoryia, are you okay?"

Izuku was sitting down and gripping his right shoulder with his left hand, "I'll be okay, I didn't know we were using quirks for this.."

"Yeah, kinda caught me off guard."

"Hey!" Bakugou said, "Ready for the next one?" He had already fetched the ball and was ready to serve again.

"Umm, Midoryia? Can you play?"

"Yeah, lets go," Izuku got to his feet and back into his athletic stance. I followed suit.

I could see Bakugous smug smile from where I stood as he began to start his serve.

It was the same as before..

BOOM

I followed the ball with my eyes closely as it came flying at Midoryia.

"GOT IT!" He stuck out his arms and activated his quirk allowing him to take speed off the ball and have it be controllable. He bumped it into the air, "Here! Todoroki! Set me up!"

"R-Right!" I ran to where he bumped the ball, right by the net. I channeled my inner Kageyama and set the ball for Izuku to spike it.

With his quirk still active, he jumped up and spiked the ball with an intense force that I could feel from where I was standing.

YES! WE GOT THIS ONE-

SMACK! PSSssh..

The ball came back instantly to our side with the same amount of force it had when we set it over. It went straight into the sand where it came to a halt.

I look at the net and standing right on the other side was Kirishmia. His arms were straight in the air and he had his hardening quirk activated. He was coming down from his jump.

HE BLOCKED IT!?

Izuku stood next to me at the net with Kirishima on the other side.

"Man Midoryia, were you trying to take my arms off? If I didn't activate my quirk as fast as I did I wouldn't be in good shape."

I still was taken back. How are we gonna win like this?

"Okay! I've got it!" Izuku said, "Can we have a time out?"

"Time out? Already?" Kirishima said, "Well, what do you say Bakugou?"

"Fine with me, just don't take too long," Bakugou said to us.

"Okay! Todoroki come here." Izuku went to the side of the court near the walking path the separates the beach and the city. He found a stick and started drawing in the sand.

"I have a plan."

He drew a rectangle representing the court and a line cutting it in half to be the net. "You are gonna stay by the net, okay, I'll be the receiver. My quirk will let me get to the places on the sand fast."

I watch has he put two dots down on our side representing us.

He then put two dots on the other side, one by the net and one by the back of the court.

He pointed to the one by the net, "This one is Kirishima, I'm pretty sure he will be by the net the whole time because he can block really well with his quirk. Bakugou will be back here so he can get the first and third hit. He is also quicker on his feet then Kirishima, so he can move faster to get the volleyball in a hard to get places."

I nod along as he talks. I shouldn't be surprised by his skills at planning, but it's impressive that he can do all of this for a volleyball game.

"To avoid Kirishimas blocks I need you to set the ball where ever he isn't, and set it really high. Don't worry about me getting to it."

He looks at me, "Okay?"

"Uh, yeah! Okay!" I say back. Based on the plan it doesn't seem like I'm doing much.

"Todoroki, we need to think of a way to utilize your quirk," Izuku said.

"My quirk? Like what? I can set the ball on fire but that's about it."

That might work, don't think they'd wanna hit that.

Haha

"Hmm, well, I have an idea but it might not work.." Izuku thought for a second, "Here, let me tell you." Izuku got close and whispered into my ear.

I immediately got embarrassed from how close he was, but still had to listen closely to what he said.

He pulled away after telling me, "Well, would you think that plan would work?"

"Yeah, I think I can manage that," I reassure him.

"Great, but don't use it unless we have to," he did the okay sign to me, "It would be good to catch them off guard."

I was motivated by his enthusiasm, "Okay," I said with a smile.

Wow, I hope he's this good at planing weddings.

He smiled back to me and then started walking back to the volleyball net, "Okay, we're ready now."

Bakugou and Kirishima looked at us from their huddle, "Awesome! Let's get started." Kirishima gave the ball to Bakugou. I got into my position by the net.

I looked back to Izuku. He was crouched down low, with his arms out in front of him, in a athletic stance.

"Serves up!" Bakugou began his serve.

BOOM!

Kyle POV

"KIRISHIMA!?"

I held onto my hand that I had just whacked Iida with almost shacking with shock.

"This, this doesn't make sense... No!" I reached into my pocket and pulled out my travel size relationship map that connects everyone in this story, "I've worked too hard on this to be wrong! I had all my facts straight! Look it's right here!" I point to Kirishima on the map. "He's connected to Bakugou! Who's in a love triangle with Todoroki and Midoryia! Kirishima liking you throws everything off!" I shout to Iida.

He's curled up and rolling in pain on the floor clutching the left side of his face, "Whyyyy, why did you have to slap me so hard..." he whimpered out.

"Ugh!" I pinched the bridge of my nose, "I don't have time to get to the bottom of this!" I walked away from the crying boy on the floor to the elevators. I close my eyes in thought and frustration. I crossed my arms as the door closed. I arrived at the right floor after a short time.

I'm late because I had to track Iidas movements for an hour before I could accurately predict when he would run through the lobby again. I hid behind a wall and extended my hand when he went past. He's a rookie, he'll learn to throw people off when he gets tailed soon. 

But now I have to get to the room I promised I'd be at.

"Okay, now which room did he say it was? Hmm.. oh! This one!" I opened the door to the correct room and walked in. It was a mirror image of my room that I shared with Todoroki, Midoryia, and Iida.

"Alright, here kitty, kitty, kitty.." I walk around the room carefully, "Come on out."

Denki has asked me to watch the cat that he found earlier on this trip. I'm not really a beach person so it didn't matter all that much to me. I just have to feed him twice and spend some time with him. Make sure he isn't crapping in places he shouldn't be.

Well, I mean, if the cat happens to go in Bakugous suitcase I might just turn a blind eye to it...

"Meow!"

"Oh! Kitty! Was that you?"

A little baby of a kitten was doing an arched back stretch from the couch cushion it was on. Looks as if it had just woken up from a nap.

"Ohh..... you are just the cutest little thing!" I went and sat down next to the cat. The cat immediately came up to me purring loudly and rubbed its little head against my arm.

I spotted a note on the coffee table addressed to me.

Hmm, what's this?

I picked it up and read it aloud.

"Dear Kyle,
Sparky needs to be fed, played with, and shown love for the few hours that you are here to visit him! There's some cat food in the fridge that we got from the store and his toys are on the coffee table. Also, please clean out the litter box below the sink in the kitchen and fill the water bowl before you go!

No doubt, it was from Denki

"Alright, alright, now lets see," I place my hand in the cat and pet it, "Oh, okay, you're hungry, but I'm getting that you don't really like that store food...." I thought for a moment, "Hmm, we'll we can fix that."

I picked up the phone next to the couch and called the kitchen. "Hello! I'd like to order some room service!"

"Of course sure, what shall it be?" The voice in the other end spoke to me.

"Hmm," I pet the cat, "We'll take the chicken dinner, no.. the salmon dinner, no... we'll take both actually. Also a tuna steak, oh! I'm dying for the spaghetti bolognese too! Also a starter dish of fried calamari! Oh but the oysters here are just to die for... and how can I forget the shrimp cocktail-"

"Oh man! This stuff is better than I remember!" I dig into the food that had just arrived at the hotel room. I made sure to ask for a small plate to put chicken and fish on so that Sparky can have his own food.

I am like, so good at this cat sitting thing...

Todoroki POV

BOOM!

The ball came from the other side from Bakugous aggressive spike.

We were in the heat of the third and final game and the score was tied at 21. Bakugou and Kirishima had won the first match, but Izuku and I won the second. Each match only differed by less than 3 points. Both sides kept increasing the intensity with each volley. It was getting hard to keep up with the speed of the game.

Since we started playing, it attracted a crowd of tourists who were watching the action unfold. The crowd kept getting bigger and I felt as if I was on a stage preforming.

This is more stressful than hero work..

"Got it!" Izuku was able to receive the spike from Bakugou this time without having to fall to reach it.

He's gotten better at predicting where Bakugou will hit the ball. In the first game, he was hardly able to reach it most times.

"Nice job!" He was able to hit it in the air high enough to give me enough time to sprint to where it went.

I got into position to set the ball.

"Give it to me here!" Izuku shouted as he approached the net.

Izuku was starting his approach, but just on the other side of the net, Kirishima was there ready and waiting to block.

My eyes darted around until I found Bakugou. He was in the middle of the court ready to get to any corner that Izuku would hit it too.

CRAP! Bakugou has been able to get every single one of Izukus hits when he has time to set himself up.

And with Kirishmia blocking, we might not even get it over.

If I set him the ball, we will lose the point and give them the advantage.

We need this point if we want to pull out this win and with it being the end of the 3rd game... I should use my quirk now.

I jumped up and barely touched the ball with my right hand and just slightly dinked it over the net.

I caught Bakugou off guard.

"SHIT! I GOT IT!" Bakugou lunged to get it and was under the ball in no time.

Damn! I thought it would of had a chance of just dropping there! But Bakugou is too smart for that.

I hope the plan works..

I landed and backed away from the net as I watched Bakugou try and hit the ball.

He hit the ball with a closed fist and tried to bounce it into the air, but it hardly went up 3 inches before falling back down on the sand in front of Bakugous hand.

"TODOROKI! YOU DID IT!" Izuku shouted and jogged up to me. He placed a hand on my shoulder, "You picked a good time to use it, Kirishima would of blocked me.."

Izuku is... complimenting me?

"Yeah! Thanks!" I say with a full amount of gratitude, "We just have to pull out the win now!"

I was wrapped up in my own glory when suddenly I got yanked by my shirt collar towards the net.

"WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT! WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE BALL!" Bakugou yelled in my face through the net.

Kirishima was next to Bakugou holding the ball and was squeezing it in showing how deflated it was.

"Ugh.." I grab Bakugous hands trying to loosen there grip, but they were clung tight.

"Nothing that you said he couldn't do," Izuku voice was stern and he pushed me back slightly as he got between Bakugou and I. Bakugous arms fell down and he starred at Izuku.

"The ball is cold," Kirishmia said as he held it up.

Izuku still stood between us, "He used his quirk to make the air in the ball cold, but you said quirks are allowed so he didn't do anything against the rules."

I was almost at a loss for words. I've never seen Izuku defend anyone like this and the fact that it's me who he is defending makes it all the more better.

Even if it was his plan to deflate the ball with my quirk in the first place...

I thought back to when Izuku whispered that plan in my ear after we lost two points in a row during the first game. I was pretty sure Bakugou wouldn't like it and would say it's against the rules but like we were gonna ask for permission to do it.

"...Fine, doesn't matter anyway, we'll get the next point and then crush you guys once and for all, but if you mess with the ball like that again then the game is over, got it?" Bakugous face turned sinister.

Kirishima handed me the ball under the net. I used my left side to heat the air in the ball back up so it was playable.

Okay, since Bakugou let it slide that means the score 22-21. We have to win by two so this is game point.

And I'm the one that has to serve...

Come on, Todoroki... please don't flub it...

I started to walk back to the serving area. Izuku walked with my for a bit, "Let's get this point and end it okay!" Izuku held out his fist.

"Yeah, I got this," I returned his fist bump and he went to his receiving position.

Okay, I got it...

I spin the ball in my hands a couple times.

"COME ON TODOROKI!!!! YOU BETTER WIN!!!" A scream came from somewhere in the crowd.

Who.?

I looked around and it was Uraraka! She was leaning over the railing that was along the walkway by the beach, "YOU CAN DO IT!

How long has she been watching?

And who's next to her..? Iida? Why did he have an ice pack on his face?

Wait, the whole class is here besides a few missing faces..

Whatever! Focus!

I get my mind back to the game. I slowly breathe in. I look up and Izuku has his head turned to see me. He catches my glance and gives me a thumbs up.

Alright..

I throw the ball in the air and start the whined up of my approach. I hit the ball at the top of my jump and it's a picture perfect serve to the other side.

NICE ONE!

"Nice serve!" Izuku said as I ran to my place by the net.

"I GOT IT!" Bakugou was able to get the ball with ease and hit it to Kirishima for his spike.

Even though my serve was good, Bakugou is just to fast for him not to get it.

Kirishmia set up the ball for him.

"YOULL NEVER GET THIS ONE!" Bakugou boosted himself into the air with his explosions and used his quirk again to send the ball tearing through the air at the back corner of the court.

HE HASNT USED HIS QUIRK TO GET THAT HIGH BEFORE HITTING IT.

"MIDORYIA!" I whip my head around to watch him.

"I GOT IT!"

Izuku dived for the corner of the court as the ball came at a blistering rate towards the him. He barely reached it in time and just managed to get one hand out to make a platform. The ball sped to the far corner of the net, but it was still on our side.

"Sorry!" Izuku shouted as he jumped back up from off the ground.

"Don't mind!" I sprinted for the ball and leaped into the air trying to get a hand on it to set up the spike.

I whacked the ball.

SHIT! ITS TOO HIGH!

"Midoriya! My bad!"

From half way back on the court, Izuku launched himself into the air was was practically flying.

"SMAAAASH!"

In less than a blink of an eye, where Izukus hand collided with the ball became blindingly bright. The air around us felt hot and the ball careened through the air at a breakneck speed and was pelted straight into the sand of the other side. By far it was the strongest hit of the entire game.

Cheers and applause came from the crowd that had gathered around the court to watch us play.

"YES!!!" I scream with exhilaration. I was still looking at the ball on the other side. It was smoking from the hit.

"TODOROKI!"

Huh!?

I turn my head to see Izuku suddenly appear right next to me. His arms were out stretched and he was coming right towards me.

"Midoryia!?" He pelted into me taking both of us to the ground.

I lay with my back and head against the sand and Izuku was right on top of me. Before we fell Izuku managed to wrap his arms around me. He hugged me tightly, as we both layed on the sand. His right cheek was pressed against mine.

He body felt hot and we were both damp with sweat.

A pounding came from my chest. I could hardly breathe and my muscles felt stiff.

He just... jumped into my arms and hugged me. I've never felt...

It's like...

And it really feels like he loves me...

I slightly turned my head into his and moved my arms to embrace him. I clung onto him and hugged him deeply as if he'd disappear if I let go.

He leaned up, but I still held him tightly around his waist. He looked me in the eyes and smiled, "Todoroki! You did amazing!"

"You did good too," I said to Izuku. I felt my face soften as I looked at him.

He looked back at me and he studied my face.

My hands started to move up his back.

He kept looking at me as his features became relaxed and he looked at me with a soft gaze.

"YES!" Todoroki cleaned his fists closed and grinned wide in celebration of our win.

WE WON!

TODOROKI AND I!

"TODOROKI!" Like an instinct I started to run at him.

"Midoryia?" I jumped at him and we fell to the ground.

I hugged onto him as we both were in the sand. After some time I felt him hug back.

He hugged me tightly like he never wanted to let go.

I leaned up to glimpse at his face, "Todoroki! You did amazing!" I said with cheer.

"You did good too," he said in a soft clear voice.

The excitement I felt in my heart from winning changed to something else after I heard his words.

I looked at Todoroki as he smiled and looked back at me.

I felt myself relax in his arms as he clung onto me tightly.

Something about the way he held onto me made want to melt right then.

His hands started to move up my back. I felt him trying to pull me closer.

"TODOROKI! DEKU!"

I turned and looked right before-OOF

Uraraka jumped on top of me. Then Iida, then others from the class until Todoroki and I were completely buried in the dog pile.

"YOU GUYS DID AWESOME!"

"THAT WAS INSANE!"

"I didn't know you guys were so good at volleyball!"

Well, so much for my kiss from Todoroki...

My classmates started getting up one by one. It was my turn to get up. After I did, I pulled Todoroki to his feet.

Across the net Kirishima and Bakugou walked up to us.

"Good game guys," Kirishima stuck out his hand as did Bakugou, but Bakugou refused to speak.

Todoroki and I shook their extended hands.

"Hey hey, guys!" Denki came up between Bakugou and Kirishima putting an arm around each of their shoulders, "That was super intense guys! Maybe we should train with volleyball now! But anyway! There's bonfire pits down at the south end of the beach. Sero and I rented one and we're having a bonfire tonight! Everyone will be there! So you guys better be! Okay! Oh yeah! And one more thing, it's byob!"

"BYOB!?" Iida shouted, "HOW INAPPROPRIATE! WE ARE TOO YOUNG!"

"What's inappropriate about bringing your own blanket?" Denki said, "It just might get cold at the beach during the night and I don't want my friends to get cold. What did you think it meant?"

Iida face was frozen in shock.

Denki walked away with Bakugou and Kirishima.

"A bonfire sounds super fun! Will you go Todoroki?" Uraraka said to him. She turned to me, "What about you Deku?"

"Yeah! Definitely! It sounds fun!" I say.

"Mhm, I down with going," Todoroki says, "but right now, I'm smelly and hungry.. I'm gonna go to the hotel and shower then get something to eat on the way back," Todoroki started to walk off, "I'll see you guys in a little," he waved to us.

When he got further away Uraraka turned to me.

"So, Deku," she smiled at me but had a devilish undertone, "Tell me this little secret that you told Iida or I'm gonna have to burn our hotel down.."

Wha-WHAT!?

"Iida! How could you tell!" I complained to him.

"No, Midor-" Iida tried to say.

"AHA! So there is a secret! I knew Iida was hiding something! And every time I mentioned you he would get all shy!"

Uraraka knew just from Iidas personality change?

Are we sure she doesn't just have Kyles quirk or something?

"How dare you guys keep me out of the loop! That's so mean! Just because I can't room with you guys!" Uraraka started to fake cry.

"No, no! Stop okay! I was gonna tell you sooner or later anyway," I say to her.

"Okay, well sooner is better so out with it now!"

"Fine.."

"WHAT! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! DEKU! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS!?" Uraraka shouted basically in my face.

"Huh!? No, why are you being so loud?"

We had moved to the area on the beach that Uraraka picked out. There was a giant beach blanket down and an umbrella to cover the direct sun.

"YOULL NEVER BELIEVE THIS! TODOROKI ACTUALLY mhffpmphf-" Iida stopped Uraraka from finishing her sentence by covering her mouth.

*CHOMP*

"OWE! Uraraka!" Iida yelped out in pain from his hand being bit.

"Gag me outside of the bedroom again and you're dead!" Uraraka snapped back.

Um... I'll pretend I didn't hear that..

"Uraraka! Ex-nay on odoroki-tay eelings-fay," Iida said to Uraraka.

What did he say? I didn't quite catch it.

"And why is that?" Uraraka asked.

Iida look nervously at me before facing Uraraka again, "Because, -- .. -.. --- .-. -.-- .. .-   ... .... --- ..- .-.. -..   - . .-.. .-..   - --- -.. --- .-. --- -.- .." Iida said.

I started hyperventilating.

"Hmmm, when will that happen?" Uraraka asked.

I looked to Iida with a open mouth.

Todoroki POV

I shut the running water off. I dried off quickly and started to put my pants on. With a small towel on my wet hair I walked out of the bathroom into the room I shared with Izuku.

I sat on the bed.

I flop back on the bed and lay my arms out wide. My feet stay planted on the floor.

I'm not crazy!

That was... something!

The way he reacted? You don't react like that to just anyone!

He was the one that jumped into my arms. In our moment of celebration, he jumped at me. He.. held me so tightly...

If Uraraka and the rest of the class never jumped on us I would of kissed him right then.

I covered my face with my hands.

"What am I supposed to do now?" I say out loud to myself.

If, no... when I'm alone with Izuku again, how will we act? Are we going to talk about it?

I get up off the bed. It's getting late and the bonfire will be starting soon.

"THEN YOU BETTER GO CATCH IT!! AHHAH...... yes sir.... okay sir.............. I understand sir.............. have a good night sir..................." Mina hung up the phone, "I have detention..."

"Awww..." the class said in unison as we sat around the bonfire.

"Also, Kirishima, you have detention too," Mina added. 

"WHAT?! But how?" Kirishima asked.

"I don't know! Mr. Aizawa somehow knew it was you that dared me to prank call him!" Mina said.

"Awe man..." Kirishima said.

I had just gotten to the bonfire. Izuku, Uraraka, and Iida were already there. I sat down on Izukus left side. Right next to Izuku was Iida and then sat Uraraka. Next to Uraraka happened to be Kyle and then Kirishima who was still upset about how he has detention.

It was a standard bonfire pit with rocks and stones around it. Everyone had brought a blanket to put on top of the sand and some had brought extra blankets to wrap around themselves.

The sun was low giving the sky a red to orange to yellow glow. We could hear the ocean water splash and the fire crackle when we all got really quiet.

Nothing too big has happened so far. Izuku doesn't seem weird around me, not even a little.

I'm glad. I was worried for nothing..

I can relax now without having to worry! Thank God! I should just enjoy tonight with the rest of my classmates.

When I arrived the class was playing truth or dare, and we went around the circle taking turns for who would get to ask the next person. Mina was dared by Kirishima to prank call Mr. Aizawa, but it doesn't sound like he took it over well.

"Well, that's what I get for trying to prank him I guess, let's just move on," Mina said.

"Oh!" Kyle spoke up, "Does that mean it's my turn to ask someone?"

Kirishima answered, "Yeah, you're next-"

"Todoroki!" Kyle immediately turned to me, he showed his teeth, or should I say fangs, as he asked, "Truth or dare?"

OF COURSE HE WOULD PICK ME!

Ugh, I don't even wanna know what he would dare me to do...

"Truth," I say with absolute confidence.

His eyes narrowed and the corners of his mouth turned up.

"What's wrong? They are high quality as well! Very pristine and pleasing to look at!" Iida kept talking.

"Iida!" Uraraka grabbed his shirt and whispered into his ear.

Iidas eyes changed into the most fearful expression that I've ever seen a grown man muster.

"....oh dear god...." he said silently. He hugged his knees to his chest and buried his face trying to hide  himself.

I was taken bad by the boldness of the both of them.

Maybe I should've stayed in the hotel room.

I looked at Izuku wanting to see his reaction, but I caught him looking at me. He glanced away as soon as I turned.

Denki stood up, "You don't scare me! Haha!" He started lifting his shirt and jogging away from the circle.

(Actually this time)

I take a deep sip of my Ginseng Tea and look out the big hotel window over looking a long and beautiful stretched beach. The sun was setting giving the area a romantic atmosphere.

I look to the beach. And there... I see a naked Denki running across the picturesque sand as the sun sets behind him.

I sip my tea again.

"MAN! That was insane! It was so.. freeing!" Denki struggled to put his shirt on.

"JUST PUT YOUR PANTS ON!"

"I sure hope no one say me," Denki was putting his pants on, or at least it sounded it like it. Most of the class adverted their eyes, "Lets keep the game rolling, Midoryia! It's your turn!"

I look at Izuku, who also wasn't brave enough to look yet, "Uh, okay let me think..."

Okay, it's Izukus turn. I wonder who he will pick.

What if... he picks me? What would I do? Would I pick truth or dare? If I pick truth he might ask if I like anyone. That might be okay, that's just a yes or no question... but the class might pressure me into telling. I can't do that. If I lie and say someone else then how am I supposed to confess later on... now, this is Izuku we are talking about... his dare will probably be innocent....

I'll pick dare then.

"Okay, Kyle, truth or dare?"

"Okay, lets just move on, Todoroki, take your turn," Jerio, who was sitting next to me, spoke to me.

"What? I just don't have anything good to ask anyone." I'm not gonna ask someone to tell me a secret or dare them to do something weird. Feels kinda wrong.

Hm, he was real quiet this whole time until the topic gets turned to me.

"Okay, so does that mean I can go?" Jerio started and received positive feedback from the group, "Okay, let me pick someone who hasn't gone yet." she looked around the circle.

Izuku started to hug in his knees tighter.

But before I could mutter any words I felt a pressure on my cheek. It was quick and soft and also caught me off guard. I turned back and witnessed Izuku quickly pulling away and hiding him self from my sight.

I was left confused...

"HEY! THAT DOESNT COUNT!"

"THAT WAS A PEEK ON THE CHEEK! NOT A KISS!"

"THAT WASNT GOOD ENOUGH!"

I could hardly hear the class complain. I lift my hand and place it on the spot where he kissed me....

I'm never washing my cheek again.

"Guys! Quite the complaining! Deku did the dare! That counts as a kiss, just move on! Tokoyami! It's your turn!" Uraraka stood up for Izuku.

"Frankly I think this game is foolish and disgusting, especially some of the people who participate in it," Tokoyami looked to Kyle as he spoke.

"Hey! You better watch that bird mouth of yours!" Kyle took great offense to Tokoyami, "Tell you what! I gotta truth for you! We're you birthed from your mother or hatched from an egg?"

Izuku POV

My eyes flickered open. It was dark and hard to see.

I leaned up and rubs my eyes. The fire was reduced to smoldering embers and the stars were scattered above us.

"Huh? Guys?" I tried to talk but it came out super broken in a tired voice.

What time is it even? Is everyone asleep?

The last thing I remember was just sitting around the camp fire with my class talking about things that didn't really matter after we finished playing truth or dare.

I look around and everyone was passed out. It's not a big deal, this is a private beach and allows over night camping. The air feels really nice too.

I move in my seat and hit the person next to me. I look down and see Todoroki sleeping soundly. He was on his back, one arm behind his head and the other across his stomach.

I remember back to the truth or dare.

*FLASHBACK*

"Midoryia, I see you hiding! I pick you, truth or dare!" Jerio called out to me.

CRAP! I didn't want to be picked!

"Who? Me hiding? Haha, no I wasn't! Umm, truth or dare," I look at Todoroki. If I pick truth and they ask if I like someone, I'm gonna have to say I do. Then it's possible they will make me say who it is and I can't tell Todoroki I front of everyone like this.

Todoroki caught me looking at him. I look away, "I gonna have to go with dare.."

"I dare you to kiss someone!"

Without thinking I moved my face for Todorokis, he was sitting right next to me and I saw him just a few seconds before so I wouldn't miss, but I wouldn't dare look now. My eyes were shut tightly.

I made contact for just the briefest of time before pulling away.

I covered my mouth with my hand.

I can't believe I missed his lips! He must of turned his head the second before.

I was upset when I didn't get to actually kiss him.

I lean back on my hands and look up at the sky and take in a deep breath.

I guess I still owe him one.

I look back at Todoroki. He looked so pretty while he slept, I can't believe I didn't noticed it before.

I laid down on my side next to him but I was still propped up on my elbow.
