Izuku pov

I'm standing there stunned. And all Kyle is doing is standing on the other side of the doorway, grinning like a goofball, with a backpack and clutching a pillow.

Why is he here?

"Um, hi?" I say out loud to him, "What are you doing here?"

"Oh! Well you know I was in the neighborhood and I thought I might as well pop by, mind if I come in," without waiting for my answer, he walks in my house. I move out of the way, "This is a swanky place you got, wow! You know, it's getting kind of late, mind if I stay the night? Is your bedroom up stairs?"

Kyle completely carried the conversation by himself, not even giving me a chance to say my piece.

Not that I was in anyplace to give a comment on what he was saying though, I still don't even know what's going on.

I knew he was a bold person, but this is crazy.

"Well, it was nice chatting with you, I can show myself up to your room, I can probably guess which one is yours," Kyle made a b line for the stairs.

OKAY! Let's stop right here!

I dashed for the stairs and cut him off from his path, "Woah! Slow down a sec," I put my arms up and blocked his path, "I'll let you spend the night, but! Only after you tell me why you're here."

He seems desperate, and I won't hold the fact that he bought Todorokis date against him, so I'll let him stay if he says why he needs to.

"I already told you, I was in the neighborhood, and thought I'd stop by," Kyle said without skipping a beat.

Is he serious? "I know that's not even close to the truth of why you're here, it doesn't matter what the truth is, I'll let you stay, just be honest."

Kyle frowned and his stance changed to a defensive one, "Um, how do I explain this? So the Russian Mafia has found where my family lives, so now we are all on the run and to avoid suspicion, we all split up.."

I glare, "Aright, well it was nice seeing you," I start to move him back to the door.

"Wait! You're actually are gonna kick me out?"

"Yup, good luck with the Mafia," I say playing along with his story, "Oh, and remember, better dead then red."

"Okay! Geez, you've got sass!" He steps away and faces me, "I'll tell you, but you gotta promise you won't kick me out."

"...Fine."

"YOU RAN AWAY?" I yell.

"Shhhhh! If your mom hears she'll send me back!"

"No shit.." I silently breathed out.

Kyle gasps, "Midoriya... you swore.. are you mad or something?"

I think back to the dating auction, "....No."

"Well, Todoroki is rubbing off on you."

Actually, now that he mentions Todoroki.

"I think I'm gonna invite him over," I get off the couch to find my phone.

"Wait! You- you're gonna invite him over?"

"Yeah, I think he can help you more then I can," I say and go to the kitchen counter that my phone was on.

"I think you should just let him be," Kyle tells me from the couch as I'm dialing Todorokis number.

"Why?"

"Well..."

Kyle pov

Todoroki stood holding his door. He was in a pink robe, wearing fluffy slippers, had the top of his hair tied back with a scrunchie, and he had a face mask on.

"HahahhaHAHAHAHAH! No!" *SLAM*

I blink a couple times, "Okay, time for plan B."

Izuku pov

"So I was your second choice?" I say to Kyle.

"It's nothing personal, darling," Kyle says with a flick of the wrist towards me.

"..."

"..."

"........I'm calling him."

Todoroki pov

"HES WHERE!?"

"Um, my house?"

I sharply breath in through my nostrils, "... I'm coming over."

"Really? Well, that's good, I'll see you when you get here," Izuku hung up the phone.

I get up off my bed and head for the stairs.

THAT TWO TIMING, JACKASS, KYLE!

I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN! OBVIOUSLY HE'D GO TO IZUKUS HOUSE AFTER MINE!

I storm down the stairs, and Fumia was on the couch.

"Going somewhere?"

"Yeah."

"Dressed like that?"

"...."

I storm back up stairs and quickly put on cloths, then I stomp back down, "Okay, now, I'm leaving!"

"I bet Izuku will think that face mask is cute."

"........"

I go to the kitchen sink and scrub my face. Then, I pound my feet into the floor and go to the front door, "Bye!"

"Um, wait-" I slam the door as she spoke.

I had no time to waste, and needed to get to Izukus house as fast as possible.

*Knock knock knock*

No answer

*knocknocknocknocknocknocknock-*

"Todoroki?" Izuku came to the door.

"You called?" I answered.

"Uh yeah, come in," Izuku moved and let me past the door, he stared at my head, "Umm, I've never seen your hair pulled back like that..."

What is he talking about...

"My hair.. Oh! God Dammit!" I rip the scrunchy from my hair, "Uh, this was um Fumias doing, you know, sibling stuff.." I shove it into my pocket.

"Isn't she older then you?"

"That's not what matters right now," I shoot my eyes around trying to locate the vermin, "Alright, where is he?" I walk forward.

"Wait, Todoroki," Izuku reaches out and grabbed my arm to hold me back. He seemed unsure of what he was doing.

"What?"

"I was gonna tell you over the phone but you agreed to come over faster than I thought you would," he looked at me with concern, "I'm still not really sure why he's here, he said something about an argument with his family, and because it involved things about expectations with being a hero, I thought you'd be better at talking to him then I would."

My concern faded fast into a frown.

"When the hell did we adopt Kyle?" I looked to the front room. Kyle was sitting cross legged drinking chocolate milk on the couch.

Could something have really happened?

"Don't worry, Midoriya, I'll handle it," Izuku let's me go and I walk to Kyle.

I start with a breath in, "Okay, Kyle... get over it."

"Todoroki!" Izuku came quickly to my side.

But I wasn't done.

"Do you see this scar? That's on MY beautiful face, I literally had boiling water poured on me..." I scolded Kyle from his position on the couch.

Kyle didn't change his face and blinked dumbfounded at me.

Izuku got between us, with his back to me he was facing Kyle, "Uh, can you give us one second," he backed up into me then found my wrist.

"You think that YOUR parents are dead set on you being a hero? YOUR parents?!" Izuku pulled me back into the hallway, as I was glaring and talking to Kyle the whole time.

When we got to the hallway Izuku let me go. I leaned against wall, "What's the problem? I thought that was going well."

"That's not what I meant when I said to talk to him," He let out a frustrated breath, "I think he needs encouragement?"

"Encouragement?"

"Yeah, I don't know, I think," he hunched his shoulders

"What exactly did he tell you?"

"Not much, what I said earlier was everything I could get out of him," he looked into my eyes practically begging for help.

I debated for a second..

Maybe I should tell Izuku, that Kyles parents are strictly business and got together just to have a successful son. That would clear up so much.

But Kyle didn't tell him, so he must not want him to know, and it's not my secret, so it would feel wrong to tell it.

"Okay, I think I can handle it, but why did you agree to let him stay in the first place?"

"Well... He's our classmate, I couldn't just shut the door."

Ha... yeah...

Who would, who would ever do that...

Dammit Izuku, why does you have to be so perfect.

I walk back into the room, but Kyle had changed positions and now he was standing and stretching, he heard me walk in and glanced towards me, "Oh, Todoroki, thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot coming from you," he walked up to me and put a hand on my shoulder. He gave a sarcastic smile and clutched where his heart was with his other hand.

"What?" I say aloud.

"Hold on, you're okay?" Izuku walked in.

"Me? Yeah, of course I am," he put both hands behind his head, with his elbows in the air, "Fights at my house happen all the time. I could accidentally bump into my mom on the way to the fridge and then I'm grounded for a month, it's real hard to keep secrets."

Izuku and I were in shock. We glanced to each other in disbelief.

"So.. does this happen a lot?" I ask.

"Oh yeah, all the time, but then you made me realize I was over reacting, it's just last time they were home they told me about all these things I had to do, I got fed up so I left before another confrontation happened again."

So... he never got into a fight in the first place? He was just coming here to avoid everyone?

I should take notes...

"But that's enough of that!" Kyle smiled to both of us, "I think it's time we head to bed, so where we sleeping?"

"Umm let me think..." Izuku started to think to himself where we could all sleep.

Wait a minute...

When I slept over here last time, both me and Izuku slept on his bed and it was a tight fit...

SHIT!

So that means either me or Kyle are gonna have to sleep somewhere else while the other gets to be with Izuku.

I... I can't let Kyle sleep with Izuku.

But also, I was the last to arrive here, so I'm lowest on the totem pole of the sleeping hierarchy, so I will probably get the crappiest place.

*GASP*

NO! This cannot happen, I have to make sure...

I'm.

That.

Bed.

"Goodnight guys," Izuku flips off the light.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! I SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING!

I got what I wanted. I got the spot on the bed.

"If you guys get up before me and need anything, you can just wake me up, it's fine," Izuku said then goes to where he will sleep.

On the floor in a sleeping bag.

OF COURSE HE'D GIVE BOTH OF US THE BED AND HAVE HIMSELF SLEEP ON THE FLOOR!

"Thanks Midoriya!" Kyle said from his side of the bed.

I was as far over as I could possibly be without falling off the bed. I was able to get the outside at least, so I'm not stuck between the wall and him.

Kyle rolled over to face me, "To think this is how we'd be spending our date night," he propped his head up on his hand and smiled.

I glared to him, "This is the line," I pointed to two All Might plushies at either end of the bed, "Don't cross it."

He moved to rest on his back and looked the ceiling, "You know, I had a dream like this once, want me to tell you how it ended?"

Dear Christ in heaven, have mercy on me..

Izuku pov

The next morning

My eyes barely cracked open.

Light poured in from the window, and was dispersed by the white window shade. Dust sparkled in the air.

Why am I on the floor?

Glimpses of last night ran through my head.

Oh yeah....

I pick my upper body off the floor. I have my legs out straight and have my arms behind me holding me up. I tilt my head to my bed and try and blink the tiredness out of my eyes.

I focus and see Todoroki, who somehow was curled into a ball on the floor. I smiled and looked away and thought back to the first time he slept over.

Does he always fall off a bed he's sharing?

During the night

Todoroki pov

"Izuku-san, let's run away together!" I tell Izuku as we stand in the middle of the beautiful meadow.

"But, Todoroki-sama, what would your family say?" Izuku looked around afraid as if someone would be there watching us.

I pull him into me, "I don't care what they have to say," I lean down...

I feel, warmth.....

Mhmmmmm, so........

Cozy....

Wait.........

Was that a dream? Where am I?

I open my eyes and see darkness.

Oh yeah, I slept over at Izukus, and shared the bed.....

!!!!!!!

WITH KYLE!!!!

I breath in sharply and as I realize who I'm so close with.

OHMYGOD!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I am able to focus on his face that was a few inches away. I fling myself off the bed and land on all fours.

"OH MY GOD!!!!" I mouth, "WHY WHY WHY WHY???"

I rip the blankets away from Kyle, who was still out like a rock, and curl up on the floor.

Okay, okay, you're safe now Todoroki, let's just go back to sleep and finish that dream.

Yes let's see, where were we? Ah, of course, the best part.

I close my eyes and fall back into the dream.

I have him pulled into a hug, "Please, Izuku-san, you can't leave me.."

"Don't worry, Todoroki..." I hear him say.

Wait, that doesn't sound like Izuku..

I pull away from the hug and Kyle is staring back at me.

My heart sinks and I fill with fear.

"... I'll never leave you," Kyle smiled at me.

I gasp awake and shot up at the same time in a cold sweat frenzic panic.

NOW HES HAUNTS MY DREAMS!

Izuku pov

I bet he just moves in his sleep a lot.

I do a double take back to Todoroki. He had covered most of his face with the blankets and his hair was messy, but he looked peaceful. His breathing was slow and quite. My heart lifted.

Seeing him like this... he looks...

A hand came down from the bed and smacked Todoroki right in the face.

Todoroki let out an aggressive and tired, "Hmm!" And turned over.

I looked up to the bed to see Kyle. He was half falling off, and half on with both his one leg and now arm dangling off the edge. He breathed through his mouth with a slight snore and I'm pretty sure he was drooling.

Well, it was about time I should get up anyway.

I get up and pick up the mat I slept on to put it away.

I made my way downstairs after cleaning up a little and I was just sitting at my table.

My mom had to go to work so it was only us three in the house.

Do I make them breakfast or something? I can just ask when they get down here, what they want?Besides, I don't want to wake them up earlier then I have to.

I bite my lower lip and look to the door of the kitchen.

They might take a while..

I get up from my chair and walk to the kitchen door.

Maybe I'll just get Todoroki up, I'm sure he won't mind.. and besides, I never got to personally ask how his date went, so I wanna hear it..

I get to the door, but right as I do, someone walked in the door. I was slightly taken back.

"Oh, Midoriya there you are," Kyle looked at me, and smiled in a charismatic way.

"Kyle.. you're up," I said as he moved past me to the table. I stayed in the same place as he walked past.

"Yeah, say you got any grub in this place? I'm kinda thirsty, what you got?"

"Um.. Water? Orange juice? Milk? Maybe, coffee?"

"Ooh!! I'll take a non-fat, vanilla latte, with soy milk, and a caramel drizzle!"

"We have half and half creamer."

"Hmm, I guess commoner coffee will do today," Kyle looked pleased with himself as said it.

"Okay, sure thing," I turn and face the coffee maker, "Rich kid.."

"Huh? You say something?"

"Which did!" I turn and face him, "Um, which did you want? Vanilla or cinnamon?"

"I'm only into vanilla stuff when it comes to my coffee, so I'll take that."

My eyes widened.

Does he have any type of filter!?

After I fixed his cup of coffee I sat across the table from him as he drank it. Silence fell over the two of us.

I keep my eyes down, and willed myself to speak.

I have to know...

"Hey, Kyle..."

"Mhm?" Kyle answered while still drinking coffee.

I swallowed before talking.

What will I even do with his answer?

"Do you... like Todoroki?"

The sound of him drinking went away and I held my breath.

With the cup still covering his face he glanced to me with realization in his eyes. He set the cup down.

"Well, I bought his date for a reason."

My heart dropped.

We sat in silence for no more then a few seconds. All I could do was stare at him.

*BOOM*
*CRASH* 
*BANG*
*SMACK*

"Ooooouch.."

Our heads shoot to the door.

"Was... that..." Kyle said.

"Todoroki!?" I immediately get up and run to the bottom of the stairs.

"Oh, hey Midoryia, what's up?" Todoroki said.

When I got to him he was in a crippled state at the bottom of the stairs.

"Holy fuck, Todoroki, you got recked," Kyle said and came next to me.

"Are you okay?" I say to him.

"Me? Don't even worry about it, I'm great. But uh, whatcha guys doing up already? And wow, okay, my leg really hurts," Todoroki says and makes no attempt to move or get up.

We continue to talk to him as he is on the floor.

"I was up before you two, and Kyle came down after so we were just talking," I say to him as he nods to what I say.

"Okay, that's understandable, let me just try and get up," he made grunting sounds but there was no movement, "Hm, that's funny, you know I'll just chill here right now. So do you have any breakfast, kinda feeling eggs right now."

"I can.. I can make you eggs," I said to him.

"Mhmm, how about some orange juice too? And yup, I'm definitely gonna need an ambulance, let's whip up those eggs fast, and I'll have the oj to go."

...............................

"Thanks again Recovery Girl," I say to her and guide her out of the house.

"Yes, of course Midoryia, it's nice coming to your house and having the one in the near cripple state not be you."

"Oh, recovery girl, you get me every time."

*Laugh track plays*

I wave bye to her and walk back inside.

Kyle has already left and Todoroki was in the front room, looking at his newly healed legs.

"It's kinda like I got a new pair? Like I almost forgot how to walk," he says and looks to me.

"Yeah, you get used to it."

He takes a few steps and almost stumbles over his feet, "Ha, how to baby giraffes do this?"

I laughed and smiled as he tried to find his footing, "I'm sure you'll remember to walk."

Kyles words hit me again, suddenly.  "I bought his date for a reason."

What could he mean by that? Does he like him? What else would be a reason?

"Hey.. Midoryia?" Todoroki said, now in front of me.

"Oh, yeah?"

"I'm gonna head out, okay? I think I need to be back home soon."

"Oh, yeah, that's fine."

He had gathered his stuff earlier, so we just got everything of his to the door.

"I'll see you tomorrow, at school," Todoroki said to me.

"Yeah, I'll see you then," he opened the door, and left.

I was now alone in a silent house.

"I bought his date for a reason."

I shake my head.

It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. It's not even my business if he likes him.

I shouldn't care..

But..

I do...

Hahaha

So I don't upload regularly anymore...

Every since the dance chapter I just kept making super long chapters.
So it was like.."oh man that dance chapter sure took a lot out of me! Oh you know what is a great idea! how about I write another infinite chapter and the one after that.. and the one after that"🙃🙃🙃 (why do I do this to myself)

So I probably upload a little less then once a month, but I feel like since it's long then you guys find it worth it😊 like Netflix!

So Kyle was a cheeky little shit in this chapter 😂
