Todoroki pov

I take a few deep breaths.

It's okay! I mean, this is normal! I'm sure I can share a bed with him and everything will be totally fine.

Uraraka might have a seizure when I tell her this.

I walk out into his room, from the bathroom, and Izuku is sitting cross legged on his bed looking at his phone.

The way his bed is situated is that one side is completely pushed against the wall. So one of us will be trapped between a wall and the other person.

Now, I'd love to be trapped between Izuku and a wall, believe me, but I'll just see what he says for me to do.

I sat down in the spinning chair at the desk.

"Okay," Izuku unfolded his legs and put his feet to the floor. He then laid back on the bed stretching his arms out perpendicular to himself.

"I'm tired, and wanna go to bed, I bummed we didn't finish the project, but we will just have to deal with that later."

He got up and walked to the bathroom.

The door closed.

"UGH!" I wheeze and let a breath out.

He looked so cute sitting on the bed that I just kinda stared at him and forgot to breath.

What was he even saying? I really wasn't paying much attention to him? Something about going to bed?

....

How am I supposed to do that!? I don't have a change of cloths or anything!

How do I ask him for pants to sleep in?

I slapped both hands to my face.

Calm yourself, Shouto!

I heard the doorknob turning for the bathroom.

FUCK! Act normal!

I lean back in the chair and cross my legs.

Izuku walked out after doing god knows what in the bathroom, "Do you want shorts to sleep in?"

I swear this kid can hear my thoughts.

I nod my head, "Yes."

Izuku flips off the light as I get under the covers in his bed.

I'm the one that ended up sleeping on the inside which is more than okay with me.

Izuku also gave me shorts to wear, there just normal sport shorts so I'll try to keep my excitement down...Take that as you wish.

Izuku gets in the bed next to me.

I felt my chest get heavy as he covered himself with the blanket that we were also sharing.

We were both on our backs. I was too scared to move to another position.

I could hear his breathing but I didn't dare turn my head to him.

"What are you doing before the dance? To like, get ready for it?" Izuku asked me. I felt him turn his head to the side slightly to look at me.

"Oh, well, I have to get there kinda early, a good couple of hours at least, and there are some people at the school who will help me get ready."

"Oh.. okay," He sounded disappointed.

"We'll have plenty of time to hang out at the dance, I'm more excited then I'm letting on to be, honest," I said to him.

"Mhmm..." He said tiredly to me.

I think he's gonna fall asleep. Maybe I shouldn't talk to him so he can rest.

I also feel my own tiredness tugging my eyes closed as well.

Izuku turned so he faced away from me.

I fell into my drowsiness.

UGH WHAT YEAR IS IT?

I slowly opened my eyes. It's dark as fuck.

I look to the glowing alarm clock on the shelf above Izukus bed. It's 3 am.

I've been asleep for maybe two hours. I should try and just go back to sleep.

I close my eyes.

Ahhhh....

...

I have to pee.

I open my eyes again and turn over to face Izuku.

When I flip over, Izukus face is right beyond mine.

OH SH#-

I stop myself from gasping.

Be cool, Todo. You're just trying to go to the bathroom.

I lean up and look at Izuku. He's taking up way more than his half of the bed.

His face looks cute as he sleeps with his eyes closed and lips slightly parted. I extend my arm to touch him.

..

No, I shouldn't..

Actually, fuck it.

I'm doing it.

I reach out and brush his face with the back of my fingers. He's out cold and had no reaction. I gently brush his cheek with my thumb.

He makes a small moan and lifts his face to my touch.

Shit. I can't wake him up.

I take my hand away and Izuku quickly returns to his peaceful sleep.

What would I give just to have him feel the same way.

Alright, enough of that gay shit, I gotta piss. My only obstacle is the one thing I love most.

Let's think this through, I don't want to wake him.

I throw one leg over him and match it with my one arm so I'm on all fours above him.

Ha, could you imagine how weird it would be if he woke up-

Izuku started to turn.

SHIT FUCK SHIT FUCK SHIT FUCK SHUT FUCK SHIT

I leaped from the bed and bear crawled into the bathroom.

Well... at least I don't have too pee anymore.

....................

I finished up in the bathroom and now it was time to make it back out there.

Oh, and by the way, I was kidding about the whole "I don't have to pee anymore" thing. Like, don't worry.

I open the door and turn off the lights in the bathroom.

I let my eyes adjust to the dark room.

But not in time.

I smack my foot right into the extra chair Izuku brought over so we could work on the project.

I fell to the floor elegantly as to not make noise and grabbed my foot.

I screamed silently, then whispered curses.

Just a few broken toes, but I'll be fine.

I got up and limped to the bed.

Izuku was sleeping in just a way that there was no room for me in either side.

Hahahahmmmmm..

Whatever, I'll just sleep on the outside.

On what little space he left me, I manage to place myself.

Me getting into the bed must have disrupted him, and I felt his weight shift.

God dang, this kid is the single most restless sleeper I have ever met.

His arm draped over my side above my hip and he then pulled himself closer.

!!!!HOLYMOTHEROFFUCKINGSHIT!!!!

SHOULD I LET THIS HAPPEN?? I MEAN HES THE ONE THAT MOVED TO ME SO- Hey, why does it feel like I'm falling?

Oh oh

I smack the floor making a load thud sound.

"........owww.."

This is fine, I'll just sleep down here. I'll curl up into a ball and go to sleep.

"Todoroki?"

Mother fucker.

"Yeah? What's up, Midoryia?"

"Are you okay?"

"Oh! Yeah! Don't worry, like, I'm just gonna chill down here," I close my eyes ready to sleep and pulled my knees up to my chest.

"Todoroki..." Izuku said somewhat dragging out my name.

His hand came around my wrist and pulled my grip lose.

Dang, he's stronger than I thought he was.

I sit up with the help from him.

"I'm not going to let you sleep on the floor," he said without letting go of my hand and moving over so that there would be room for me on the bed.

I sat on the bed and both me and Izuku were sitting up. He let my hand loose.

"What were you even doing?" He asked me while rubbing his eye.

"I had to use the bathroom, that's all."

"Okay, but how did you fall?"

.....

".....by rolling off the bed," I answered straight faced.

"Well, I could assume that much Todoroki."

"Right..."

"Are you okay, at least?"

"Yeah."

There was a small bit of silence between us.

"Hey.." Izuku said.

"Yeah?"

"I was just wondering, do you like being king? Of the dance and everything?"

Hm, kinda outta nowhere, but, "It's okay, I guess, I feel honored to be voted for, but.."

I trailed off.

"It kinda takes time away from being with you.." I say.

...

WAIT THAT DEFINITELY SOUNDS TOO GAY

"And, uh, Iida too, but I'm basically conjoined with Uraraka," I finish.

"Okay, that's what I thought." Izuku said. He leaned back on the wall and sat cross legged, "I don't want to sound selfish, but it would be a lot more fun with you around."

I looked up to him and he was looking to the ceiling.

He wants me to be around.

That thought made my heart beat hard.

.......

We got into talking about the dance, our experiences with setting up and expectations.

"So my foot is totally stuck in there right? Uraraka had a minute left to deliver the brief case before disaster and now the cats stuck in a tree, the worst part was I still had half a pie left."

"Wow, that's crazy Todoroki."

"Yeah, but that's when Aizawa comes in, and the rest is history."

"Thank god he was there."

"Tell me about it, but anyway, how was your Tuesday, setting up for the dance and everything?"

"Oh.."

He brought his knees to his chest and hugged them tight.

"It was okay, I set up the chairs, dusted the chandeliers," he told me.

"Hey! That can be exciting!" I blatantly lied.

"I don't know, your day sounds a bit more exciting, the most fun I had was the day you and Uraraka came down."

"Oh! That day?" I remember back to that day, "The day we brought the tables up."

"Yeah," Izuku said, "when we were partners and then went to the closet."

"Oh yeah-"

Wait, that's when we got locked in.

And

Basically kissed.

"When we got locked in the closet, it was so funny seeing you, or rather, hearing you freak out"

"Well! It was scary!"

He laughed at my comment.

"Yeah, it might have been scary but, I would be locked in there for a thousand years with you before reliving another day of setting up for the dance."

...

Does he really mean that?

"Wait, really?" I say to him.

"Well, yeah.."

"That's nice to hear."

Not too long after that, we finished our conversation and turned in for the night.

...............

I wake up and see a room brightened by the Sun. I was resting on my stomach with my arms folded under my head facing out into the room.

Is that... bacon... I smell.?

Ohhh, Mother Midoryia, you are too good to me.

I turn over and see an empty space between me and the wall.

Izuku got up all ready?

Without giving me time to think, Izuku walks into my room.

"Hey, you're awake." He says to me.

"Yeah, I just woke up."

"Cool, my mom is making food downstairs and oh! Look at this text I got from Deki," Izuku took out his phone and handed it to me.

I read the text out loud.

"Hey, Deku, do me a favor and spread the word to your crew, I'm having a sink party the night before the dance."

Wait, that's tonight.

I continue to read the text, "It starts at 7 so don't be late! See you guys then."

A pre-dance party?

I'm down as fuck.
