"Wait, Bakugo!" Todoroki shouted as Bakugo started to walk away.
He turned around, scowl on his face."What is it now?" Bakugo asked, rage boiling inside him. There was always something wrong in Todoroki's world, always something he needed from Bakugo. It pissed him off. He was done with the nagging and the feeling that reached him whenever Todoroki called out to him.
Ah, I'm being depended on.
"'Bakugo! Bakugo!' Its always something with you. You're the one who can command me, so stop trying to persuade me into things and just do what you want already! You always get your way in the end anyways!" Bakugo shouted lazily.
"But then our relationship would be no better than a slave contract," Todoroki said back."We are bonded together. I rely on you just as much as you do me, so don't try to make this into something it isn't."
Bakugo scoffed."Doesn't seem that way." He walked away, boots swishing against the mud like a reminder of what they've been through.
He didn't want to believe Todoroki's bullshit, because he knew it he did, he would never be able to leave the prince's side again.

The rest of Bakugo's tribe seemed to trust Todoroki's people more since after the war. They had been through hardships together and survived, it wasn't of any suprise to Bakugo. The only thought running through his mind was what now? They had defeated the Villain Kingdom, Todoroki's reason for bonding with Bakugo, and so the only thing left was to wait for what Todoroki wanted to do.
It sounded like he wanted Bakugo to stay with him but that might not be the case. And what about his people? Would they really want to stay in the kingdom? Bakugo doubted it.
It seemed like his people were thinking the same thing as Jiro looked at Bakugo with concern as they walked back to the kingdom."What happens now, Bakugo? Are you planning on leaving or staying here?"
Bakugo looked over to her. Smart bitch."I don't know if you heard, but I'm bonded to Todoroki, so I need to talk with him about it before I make a decision. Plus, if we leave, I want to wait until everyone heals."
Jiro simply hums back and the rest of his people look at each other with mixed thoughts. They remain silent a bit longer, walking in silence along the dirt road that led to Todoroki's castle. Sato and Koda carried Kirishima on a stretcher, Koda looking a bit tired, but nobody seemed to want to trade with him.
"Well, if you stay in the castle, I think I would be okay with staying as well," Jiro said casually, shocking Bakugo.
"Yeah, it would be fun! The castle's so big and all of the prince's friends are interesting!" Ashido said, Kaminari and Sero cheering along side her.
"Plus everything sparkles!" Aoyama said, striking a pose."Perfect for me!"
"Yes! Its perfect!" Mineta said, staring at Yaoyorozu and making groping motions with his hands.
"They have good food!"
"A-And lots of cute animals..."
Bakugo let out a long angry sigh."Shut up, I get it," he said, making everyone smile at one another except for Koda who looked like he was going to piss himself thinking Bakugo was angry at him. He still hadn't come to understand Bakugo's personality like the rest of the tribe.
"Hey, we're here!" Someone from Todoroki's group shouted, causing everyone to cheer. They were finally back. The war might not be completely over but at least this battle was won.
Everyone piled into the kingdom, most immediately going to the infirmary. Most of Bakugo's tribe followed them, watching Kirishima intently. Everyone else followed Todoroki and Bakugo, unsure of what to do.
Just outside the throne room Todoroki paused, looking to everyone with calm eyes."Tonight, we feast," he said, making everyone cheer. Todoroki turned to Bakugo, staring at him with a small smile on his face. It threw Bakugo off, but he refused to comment.
Todoroki open the doors to the throne room as everyone chatted amongst themselves and then stopped, causing everyone else to follow his lead. There, sitting atop the elaborate throne at the top of a steep set of stairs was a man Bakugo didn't recognize. He looked smugly down at Todoroki who looked ready to kill.
Bakugo reacted quickly, moving to attack the man but two others came back, holding him down with a strength Bakugo didn't think possible. Then he realized, they had pixie dust on them. Was this planned? How did they know?
"Its good to see you again, son," the man covered in flames said, only confusing Bakugo more.
He turned to Todoroki, eyes widening at what he saw. Todoroki looked absolutely furious, something he had never seen on the prince before in his life. Son? Who was this person?
"What are you doing here, father?" Todoroki growled out.
"After so long, that's all you have to say to me? I'm hurt," his father said, resting his hands against the throne.
Todoroki only glared back."Answer my question."
Everyone behind them murmured to one another, also unsure of what was happening. But when Todoroki's father spoke, it silenced all of them."I'm here to take my kingdom back, son. You did a good job protecting it while I was gone."
Now that ticked Bakugo off."The fuck are you talking about?! Do you think we would just hand it over to you?! You didn't do shit while we fought our asses off trying to protect this shit kingdom! Think again, you asshole!"
Todoroki's father glared down at him."Shut him up. I have no need for him...yet," he said to his men. Bakugo thrashed as they put a gag over him. He growled through the cloth, glaring at the man in front of him.
"I have to agree with Bakugo here," Todoroki spoke up, irritating his dad."You abandoned your kingdom long ago after you realized you kingdom was falling. You have no right to be here."
"I do," his father said back, tapping his foot against the ground."I am the king of this kingdom and it will be that way until I die. Don't forget your place, Shoto."
Todoroki clicked his tongue, moving to unsheathe his sword, but his fathers hand stopped him. The man motioned to his men, standing up himself and moving over to them. They brought Bakugo upwards, one pulling his hair back so that his chest was completely exposed.
"What are you-!"
"Todoroki, you were never a good ruler," Todoroki's father said, pulling off the glove on his right hand."Let me show you how little faith your people have in you."
Then he plunged his hand deep into Bakugo's chest, making him scream out in agony as his organs were ripped out of his stomach.
"Now, let me show you true suffering."
