TTF - Chapter 1: #SELFIE TIME

~Nicole's POV

“Nicolette! Its time for school, don't wanna be late for your first day!” my mother yelled. “and its also your last year in highschool!”

I groaned and rolled over on my bed so I'm lying down my back. I've been dreading this day also I'm been very excited. Today is the first day of my Senior year, the last year of my highschool life. 

Usually some teenagers will be worrying about which college they'll choose and which one will accept them, how will they see they're best friends, and stuff like that, but I really don't have to worry about that.

I won't go into detail why I don't have to worry, yet, because at this moment  I really need to get ready for school.

I jump out of my bed and landed on my two feet. I quickly rushed out of my room and down the hall to the bathroom before my younger sister got. I see her opening her to door and quickly opened the bathroom door and got in. I close the bathroom, whilst turning the lock.

“Nicole!” she whines. I giggle and turned to brush my teeth. After I spit the foam out of my mouth, I quickly strip and got into the shower. The water was a little cold, one, because we're still in the winter season and two, I don't know where the water heater is.

After my shower, I grabbed towel , well two, one to wrap around my body and other one to wrap around my wet hair. I then open the bathroom door and walked quickly to room

“finally” I hear my sister say and went into the bathroom. I went into my room and opened my closet. I picked out a forever 21 cut up jeans and a blue T-shirt with a dog's head on it.

I put on clothes and sat down in front of dresser. I then plug in the dryer and start drying my hair. When I was finished, I pick up my school back, along with my phone, my watch and my car keys, and headed outside my room.

I went downstairs and into the kitchen. I said good morning to my older brother, my mother and my father. I rummage the fridge to find my water bottle. I then sat down on a stool around the island and waited impatiently for my breakfast. My mother then placed my bowl of cereal in front of me and the box of milk beside it. I poured the the milk into my cereal (honey bunches of oats) and started munching away.

When I finished, I got up out of my seat and kissed my mother and father goodbye. I then grabbed my brother's hand and yanked him forward to follow me. He waved goodbye to my mother and father and nearly tripped.

I pressed the button of my car keys to unlock my car(BTW its Carlsson Mercedes).I ran over to the driver's side and got in. Aden(my brother) got in the front passenger sit and buckled up. I started my car and reversed out of garage front and on to the road. I quickly drove off to to school with my brother but not before dropping him off at his college.

You all must be wondering why am I driving my 19 (soon to 20) year old brother to college. Well... Because he doesn't have a license anymore. The key word there is anymore. He lost his ownership of his license because he never picked Charline(our younger sister) from school and went to frat party and got wasted.

I dropped him off and drove my way to school. When I reached the entrance of the school, I read the letters written on the wall Everton High School.

I drove into a parking space and parked my car. I got out my car and ran into the school. I literally felt my  jaw hit the ground. The inside that was painted with grey and cream colour is now blueish green and white. All the black lockers are now in a dark blue colour. The cracked and dirty  tiles underneath my feet is now sparking clean and crack free.

Guess the saying “New year, New everything” actually is true.

I skidded around the slippery, only to bump into something hard.

At first I thought I was a wall but it and I feel down.

I grasped something in my hands and closed my eyes. I heard “it” groaned and I quickly lifted my head up. My eyes widened when see a very cute boy in front of me.

He has dark brown messy hair, a chiselled but soft looking features, bright blueish green eyes and pink full lips.

I snapped out of my train of thoughts and got up.

“I'm so sorry, I was busy skidding around and wasn't looking where I was going. Are you hurt?” I mumbled.  He propped up on his elbows and rubbed his forehead. I held out my hand for him to grab it, so I can pull him up.

He did grab my hand  got up. He was a little in my personal space, so I backed away.

“Nah its okay, I'm fine” he said in a husky tone. Damn, his voice is so sexy I nearly swooned when I heard him speak. “Are you okay?” he asked and i nodded. “good”

We stood there in an uncomfortable silence. He was about to speak but the bell beat him to it. I looked down at my watch to see that I'm already late for my first class.

“Shoot I'm already late. I gotta go” I said and hurriedly walked away not before shouting back “I'm sorry again for bumping into you!” and with that said I ran to my locker and then to my first class.

•a few hours later•

“B square minus C square...” my mathematics teachers says while writing the maths problem on board. She then turns around and pointed at someone at the back. The person, was about to answer when the lunch bell rang.

“okay then, that's the bell. I hope you all have fantastic first day of your Senior year” she says and sat down behind her chair. I quickly pack up my bag and walked out of class

I first stopped at my locker to get out some books for my next class so when the lunch bells rings, I'll just go start to my class. I walked onto the crowded cafeteria and stood in the line to order my lunch.

The line moved quickly and it was now my time to order. I ordered a small cheese sandwich, a homemade salad and a pineapple soda. I paid for it and headed outside of the school.

I sat before a bush and set my bag a side. I took up my sandwich and took a bite. I suddenly feel someone touch my shoulder. I look to left to see my childhood best friend.

“Holly!” I screamed “Nicky!” she screamed. I attacked her with a hug and she tightly hugged me back. We kept squealing and talking about how long we haven't seen each other. Students walked by but we ignored and continued talking.

“Hey!” I said “lets take a selfie” I suggested. She smiled brightly at me and nodded her head. “ hashtag selfie time?” she asked and I smiled at her “of course” I took out my phone and snapped a selfie.

“... I can't believe we only have 2 classes together” Holly huffed and fold her arms together. I looked up to her, cause she's like 5’8 and I'm 5’5, and laughed at her childish behavior.

“its okay Holly. At least we get to see each other in 2classes” I said trying to cheer her up. She side eyed me and huffed. I giggled and tugged at her arm.

“Wait...” she stopped abruptly with her leg in front , making nearly trip. I glared at her, but she wasn't looking at me “What?” I asked

She did answer me, so I followed her eyes to see what See's looking at. And what is looking at is the cute boy I bumped into early this morning. He's completely surrounded by squealing girls.

“Uh.. Who's he?” I asked remembering he didn't tell me his name. She look down at me in shock. “What?” I asked

“I can't believe you” she scoffed “That’s Michael Ross ” she said.

“Oh okay ” I said and looked at him. She let go of my arm and backed away. I tilted my head in confusion. She walked up to me and grab my hand. She pulled me into corner and started whispering “Okay? ” she asked “Okay? That's you're gonna say that's the Michael Ross. The son of billionaire and actor Aden Ross” she explained.

“oooh........ Shoot!” I said. My eyes widened. She asked me what but i didn't answer her. I just kept staring at Michael.
