Karai had her eyes closed, and arm raised to protect her face as she waited for Tigerclaw's sword to hit her. A clang sound was heard and she opened her eyes and lowered her arm to see a familiar form and royal blue mask. Leonardo. "You're running on your last life you dirty cat." the leader in blue kicked Tigerclaw in the abdomen causing the tiger to take a couple steps back. "Now Raph!" Raphael jumped out from the shadows and charged at Tigerclaw. Using all his strength, Raphael used shoulder to ram into the mutant assassin making him fall off the roof, a loud thud was heard from below.
Karai stood up and dusted herself off. "Um Leo I-" Karai looked down not really great with saying thanks. "I know you're not good at say thank you," Leonardo have Karai a genuine smile. Sheathing his katana the leader glanced around the roof. "Don't worry Leo this isn't a trap, I was hoping I'd find you. Donatello told me everything about shredder not being my real father." as Leonardo was about to speak, his immediate younger brother beat him to it. "So you just left Donnie at the hands of that overgrown toaster!? I outta shove my sai right up your-!" "That's enough, Raphael!" Leonardo yelled in his "leader voice", well at least his brothers call it that, and only uses when he needs any one of his brothers to be quiet or when he's serious. The hotheadrd ninja crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "Well Donnie was always the more persuasive one out of all four of is and what I believe what Raphael was saying "Donnie saved you?" because well all know you would never run away from a fight, right Raph?" Leonardo glanced over his shoulder to see his younger brother with his "I'm not joking around" glare. The red clad turtle rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right." he grunted. "I honestly thought he was behind me when he told me to run, but I guess he just wanted me to get out of there before I get hurt." "Yeah that's Donnie always putting others before himself. We should head back to the lair before Tigerclaw calls for some back up," they all nodded and made their way into the sewers staying hidden in the shadows.
The fours teens walked into the lair with the turtle's two human friends sitting patiently on the couch. They all took a seat. The three brothers all shook they heads silently informing their human friends that they did not get Donatello back. "But she better tell us." Raphael glared daggers at Karai. "Karai, can you tell us how Donnie convinced you that shredder wasn't your true father?" Leonardo asked calmly. The kunoichi nodded, "Well at first I didn't really believe him but he's really stubborn to get his point through," the persistent leader in blue nodded in understatement and waited for her to continue. "then he mentioned about having a picture of shredder and my mother together, I only have a picture of my mother and the other half was ripped. I assumed it was shredder, but I was mistaken."
A few minutes of silence passed. "I would like to apologize to all of you." a hand was placed onto the kunoichi's shoulder. "It's not your fault, Karai. You didn't know." Leonardo stated. "I wish I'd known sooner." Karai sighed. "Don't worry, Karai. We'll get Donnie back right, Leo?" Mikey asked glancing at his oldest brother. "That's right, Mikey. We'll get him and we won't give up." Leonardo stood up and faces his brothers and sister. "Failure will never overtake us if our determination to succeed is strong enough."
     Raphael and Michelangelo glanced at each other, determination to recuse they're brother shown in their eyes. Leonardo then placed his arm out. "For Donnie." Michelangelo stood up and made his way to his older brother and placed his hand on top of Leonardo's. Raphael stood up and outstretched his arm and placed it on top of his brother's hands. Casey and April did the same. They all faced Karai. "Karai, are you in?" Leonardo asked. Without hesitation, Karai joined in. "Lets do this." Leonardo smiled at her.

"So what's the plan, fearless?"
