Narrator's pov:

   It was an ordinary night in New York. The turtles were out on patrol hoping that some excitement would happen. "Uuuuugggghhh I'm so booooored dudes!" the youngest of the four exclaimed. "Mikey! As ninjas we have to remain quiet!" Leonardo silently yelled at his younger brother. "Sorry Leo it's just so boring. Can we go back to the lair now? It's kinda chilly bro." Mikey rubbed his arms hoping that would give him some warmth. Michelangelo was right, it was a bit chilly tonight. Winter is close by and none of them are looking forward to that, except for Mikey since Christmas is in winter. With a sigh of defeat the leader in blue agreed to head back to the lair. "Yes! Thank you Leo!" Mikey stood up from the roof and was about to run back to the lair until his most intelligent brother stopped him. "Not just yet Mikey." the youngest groaned, "Why not?!?!?" As Michelangelo asked the ninja in purple pointed to a warehouse. "The Kraang are bringing mutagen into the warehouse." "Finally some action!" Raphael exclaimed as he took out his sais. "Ok Raph don't just barge right in there we need a plan. Who knows how many Kraang droids are in there." Leo said earning a groan from the hothead. "The plan is to kick those ugly Allen's butts and leave. Simple as that. We don't need a plan, now come on lame-o-nardo!" with that Raphael jumped off the roof and made his way to the warehouse without being spotted. "Raph! Great just great." Leo turned around to face his two other younger brothers but they weren't there. The leader rubbed his temple, "What s the point of being a leader if no one listens to me?" Leonardo made a quick mental note to have a talk with his brothers once the mission was completed. The blue clad turtle made his way into the warehouse where his brothers are already fighting off the Kraang. Leo had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that something wasn't right. He shrugged it off for now and went to go help out his brothers.
     Once Leo was done taking out a Kraang droid his eyes spotted a giant container filled with mutagen. "Donnie what the heck is that thing!?" the leader yelled over to his younger sibling. "I think it's a bomb and from what I can tell from this spot it's going to blow in two minutes!" Donatello responded. "Diffuse it we'll cover you!" Donnie nodded and we to towards the bomb to try to diffuse it before it went off. Jus as the genius got onto the platform it started to rise up from the ground. Donatello knew he had to be quick before the entire city gets mutated. As Donnie started cutting wires and the other were fighting off the remaining Kraang, their greatest enemy was watching them within the shadows. Along with his heanchman, Karai, and dozens of foot bots. Everything according to plan, yet the turtles had no idea that the worst is yet to come.
   Donatello was down to two wires left. One of them could stop the bomb and the other could make the bomb go off. But which one is to diffuse it? "Red or black?" Donnie asked himself. There was only ten seconds on the timer left and he chose the black one. The timer stopped and he smiled in victory. "Yes! New York is saved!" the purple clad turtle jumped down from the platform and headed towards his brothers. "Way to go Donnie." Raph congratulated his younger brother. Donnie smiled, "thanks Raph." Raphael nodded. Mikey jumped onto Donnie's back while yelling his catchphrase. "BOOYAKASHA!!!!!" his three older brothers smiled and let out lighthearted chuckles. The turtles were about to head back to the lair until all the lights went out and all the exits were shut closes leaving the four brothers in the dark. They all heard a maniacal chuckle and they knew who it belonged to. "Shredder.." the leader in blue announced and narrowed his eyes to the corner from where they all heard the chuckle come from. Leo unsheathed his second katana, preparing to protect his brothers at any cost. "Show yourself!" Raph yelled out along with a growl. All the lights turned on and shredder's army were only a meter away from the turtles. "Leonardo." Karai drew her weapon and got into a fighting stance.
  (I'm really bad at writing fight scenes so please bear with me)
Everything was still, Leonardo glaring daggers at shredder and his goons. Within thirty seconds everyone started fighting. The turtles took down the foot bots first. Leonardo sliced through the foot bots, which made a clear path to his target, the shredder. The leader in blue charged towards his target, swinging his katana ready to take shredder down.
    As he was about to strike, Raphael was thrown, or should I say kicked, by Fishface making him collide with his older brother. The two turtles both groaned as they hit the wall with a hard thud. "Get off of me, Leo!" Raph grunted. "I can't get off unless YOU get your shell off ME!!" Raphael got up and raced towards his younger brothers to help them. As Leonard stood, he was kicked down roughly by Karai. The kunoichi stood above the leader and held her blade above her head, a smirk plastered on her face. "Say goodbye, Leonardo." the blue clad turtle rolled away at the last second, nearly missing the sharp sword. Leonardo swung his leg under Karai's, making her fall hard against the cold cement. The leader took this advantage and stood up swiftly, his katana pointed directly at her. "Its over, Karai. Give up." Karai narrowed her eyes. "Not until you're all dead!" she tried to reach for her sword next to her but Leonardo kicked the bladed farther away from her. "Why are you doing this? Spilintwr is your father, your true father. Stop letting shredder brain wash you with lies. He's the enemy, he's the one who killed your mother." the leader in blue hoped that would make the kunoichi understand that they weren't the enemy. But Karai only grew furious. "Lies!" she yelled out and she quickly drew her knee to her chest and stretched her leg out kicking the terrapin below the waist. (ouch that's gotta hurt 😬) His immediate younger brother witnessed this and ran over to him knowing that Leonardo is gonna need some time to recover from that blow. Just before Karai could decapitate his older brother, he tackled her to the ground pinning her down. Raphael glanced at his leader only to see him being thrown around like a rag doll. The red clad ninja quickly left Karai to help out Leonardo.
    The fight lasted for another ten minutes, shredder grabbed Michelangelo's chain and spun around making the youngest flying through the air. When shredder let go of the chain Michelangelo flew to a wall. Once collief, there was a sickening snap then the young ninja fell to the ground motionless. "MIKEY!!!" his older brothers yelled out. They all ran to his side, Donatello already inspecting his younger brother. "His forearm is broken but other than that he's ok." he sighed in relief. "Raph get Mikey we're getting out of here." Leonardo instructed. The sai bearing ninja nodded and picked his younger brother up careful with his arm. "Ninjas retreat!" with that, they all ran out. Just before they could exited the warehouse, Razhar tackled Donatello from the side separartong him from his brothers. Then Fishface and Tigerclaw helped make sure the genius didn't run away. "Guys! Hep me!" he yelled out hoping Leo would come, but all he was a puff of purple smoke and they were gone. "No.." he looked towards shredder's henchmen, his eyes filled with fear. "Master shredder will be very pleased." They all chuckled darkly and Donatello's world faded away as he was struck hard on his head.

~WITH THE OTHERS~

As the two brother ran into the lair they quickly settled Michelangelo down onto the couch. "Ok Donnie what do we do?" the leader asked but got no response. He looked towards Raphael hoping his younger brother would be there. "Donnie?" still no response. Panic started filling the leader. "Donnie!?" and again no response. "DONATELLO!!!!"
