Hay everyone so its been a long as hell time since I last updated and to be completely honest I forgot I even punished this story. I want to say a Big thanks to @DebbieJohnson705 for reminding me to update I do have other chapters written out they just need to be edited I also might rewrite this whole story but anyways lets get to the story so without farther a due heres Chapter 8

I stood up to leave but as I was walking away Toby grabbed my hand “if you’re not going to tell me what’s wrong then I’m leaving” I said I tried to pull my arm away but he tightened his grip I knew I was playing with fire when I came in here but I didn’t care “who’s Ethan’s real dad” he asked I sighed “I told you an old friend If that’s why your mad then let go” I said he loosened his grip a little but not completely “are you sure he told me something else” I felt myself tense when he said that I think he noticed because he stood up from his bed “why are you so worried about who Ethan’s real dad is?” I asked part of me hoped it was cause he care for Ethan while the other part of me was terrified that he wouldn’t want him and completely stop talking to me “b-because I am I-I can’t get i-it out of my head th-that you’re a mother t-to someone else’s k-kid” he mumbled out I was surprised to say the least that he was mad cause there was that one chance that Ethan wasn’t his which is impossible since Toby’s the only one I’ve ever done It with my heart was pounding “why-why would you be worried about weather Ethan was someone else’s kid?” I questioned him I turned around to look at him only to see his face was red and his eyes were covered by his hair I moved my hand up to move his hair, but he stepped back he knew his eyes were the only way I could read him so my only guess was that he didn’t want me to see what he was feeling “I…. I-I know I’m E-Ethan’s dad” he said at last this time it was my turn to step back “r-really when... who… who told y-you?” I asked I looked away from him my hands began to shake “Ethan t-told me when I w-went to your house why-why didn’t y-you tell m-me” he asked I didn’t know how to answer so a told him the truth “I was on my way back here to tell you when I saw you and… I-I didn’t think y-you’d want kids so…” I said trying to figure out what to say but found nothing “so you kept it from me” he said it felt like I was just stabbed in the heart “what would you expect me to think Toby I came back and you were lip locking with my Best friend so excuse me if I ran I didn’t know what else to think” I snapped that was it I had went over the edge I ran out the room ignoring his call for me to come back I ran down the stairs “I’m going out for a bit don’t wait up” I said quickly running out the door before they could say anything I kept running until I reached the town it was around 8:00 am right now I heard someone call after me weather it was Toby or someone else I didn’t know I just walked faster when I was sure I had lost who was following me I walked down to the park but I didn’t stop I kept walking until I had reached a small field with a perfect view of the night sky I hadn’t realized how tired I was until I sat down in the tall grass I pulled my knees up to my chest and laid my head down I let out a depressed sigh “I’m such a moron” I whispered quietly I stayed like that for about 20 minutes before I felt someone behind me but I didn’t care I just sat there with my head down “what do you want” I asked the person behind me I could hear them panting so I thought of the only two people to ever chance after me either it was Toby or it was Jane but I turned was surprised to see that  It was neither I saw Ethan with his hand on his knees “Ethan what are you doing here you're supposed to be asleep” I said he came up to me and hugged me “I’m sorry mommy but I followed you” he said for a five year old he’s so much like his dad but he’s also so much like me at the same time “how’d you get here there’s no way you ran all the way here” I said he giggled before he let go of the hug he took a few steps back “I saw you and daddy arguing and then you ran so I followed you but I couldn’t run as fast so I got daddy to drive me here his waiting over there by the swings” Ethan said with a grin that was too much like his fathers I sigh “of course he’d use his son against me” I said Ethan giggled as he tried to pull me up “come on I want you and daddy to make up” he said still trying to pull me up a laugh left me “alright you’d better go to the car though and lock the door don’t unlock them for anyone not unless it’s me or daddy” I said getting up he nodded I sighed as he ran to the car eagerly I stood by a tree as I watched Ethan walk over to a car that was parked in the middle of the hiking trail next to the park “go figure he still doesn’t know how to park” I sighed  once Ethan was in the car and he gave me a thumbs up I walked over to Toby and sat on the swing next to him “I-It meant nothing” he mumbled I licked my lips slightly as he continued “s-she came on to me I-I swear I would n-never hurt you l-like that“ he said quietly I didn’t say anything I just stared at the wood chips that littered the playground It wasn’t until I heard him sniffle that I looked up at him he wasn’t looking at me so I stood up walking in front of him he had a tight grip on the chains that held him and the swing up I placed my hands on both his cheeks lifting his head up to look at me as I said before his eyes tell me everything about him his past, how he feels, and so much more the world around us seemed to fall away when I looked at his eyes his eyes were filled with all kinds of emotions sadness, anger, and self-hate being the top three I let out a deep sigh when I placed my forehead on his we stared at each other for what felt like hours but was literally a few seconds he had tears in his eyes I mentally said fuck it and pressed my lips on his is a slow loving kiss he seem shocked at first but wasted no time in kissing back the kiss was a long and meaningful one and I loved every second of it we pulled away but only for a few seconds this time Toby made the move pulling me down to sit in his lap we pulled away for the final time I placed my head back on his forehead and we stayed like that he was still crying causing me to giggle as I wiped his tears away “always so sensitive” I whispered we stayed quiet for a few minutes before we began to laugh “whatever” he said we continued laughing until the car horn went off we turned to look at Ethan who had a face that said oops as he rubbed the back of his head Toby and I looked at each other before saying “yep he’s definitely your/my kid” at the same time making us laugh even more I grabbed his hand as I stood up making him stand up with me as we walked back to the car “you’re/I’m driving” we said again “oh geez that’s going to get annoying fast” I said laughing he sighed in agreement I got into the car and drove into the woods taking a different trail to the mansion when we got to the mansion all the lights inside were off we had decided that we’d stay in mine and the kids room with Toby as soon as we got into the room Lilia began to cry I walked over to her and changed her diaper and grabbed a backup bottle Jane had made earlier I sat down in a rocking chair that had been put in here earlier today and began slowly rocking back and forth while humming “come little children I’ll take thee away into a land of enchantment come little children the times come to play here in my garden of shadows” I sang quietly as Toby got ready for bed he had went to his room to get his and my pjs he was currently walking out of the bathroom from changing and was in gray sweatpants with no shirt when Lilia was asleep I laid her back down in her crib before going into the bathroom to change when I was finished I was about to open the door but stopped when I heard Ethan and Toby talking quietly “you have to promise to not hurt mommy” Ethan told Toby I could tell Toby pulled his right hand up while saying “I promise to protect her and never allow anyone to hurt her better?” he asked Ethan. I heard them laugh quietly. I opened the door “are you guys having a party without me?” I asked they looked at each other before speaking “us? Never” they said at the same time “oh god not this again scoot over” I said climbing into bed Toby was by the wall and Ethan was in between us It was nice a little too nice I laid there the hole night staring at Toby’s face “you know if you keep staring at me I’ll melt” he joked I giggled “nah you'll be fine” I said he huffed with a playful frown I closed my eyes and felt the bed dip I opened my eyes to see the Toby switched spots with Ethan I giggled more when Toby pulled me closer to him as If we weren’t close enough already I felt myself being picked up and set back down on something hard I opened my eyes yet again to see that Toby was under me we had often slept like this but only after we had a bad fight “I c-can’t believe you’re a-a-actually here" he whispered barring his head in my hair a pleasing sigh left me “yeah I know how you feel you know the night you showed up at my house I had a dream of the day we met for the first time” I whispered in a matter-a-fact tone he chuckled “I remember the first time you met Ben he tried to come onto you so you flat out punched him in the face” he said I laughed quietly nodding “yeah it's hard to believe it's been 10 years since then” I spoke softly I felt his chest vibrate when he hummed in agreement “I remember our first kiss like it was yesterday you slipped on the steps falling on top of me during the snowball fight” I said laughing as he groaned covering his face with his hand “yeah Jeff and Ben kept teasing us” he said a smile graced his lips when I whisper what they said “didn’t they say something along the lines of ‘ooh love on the battlefield’?” I giggled he nodded “yeah something like that now go to sleep” he whispered I giggled “I love you and all but that’s Jeff’s line” I said quietly you could barely hear the sound of Jeff shouting yeah in the distance as if he was agreeing with me Toby groaned again before playfully pushing me off him as I started laughing he climbed on top of me and gave me a quick kiss before laying down barring his face in my chest as I played with his hair “night ticci Toby” I whispered stifling a laugh as he rolled off me “now I know your making fun of me” I kissed his cheek “I would never” I teased before snuggling in to him falling into a peaceful sleep.
