Once I had Ethan and Lilia both signed in at daycare which Im quiet surprised that they could take children Lilias age there I drove to work I have a job at a small café its not much but it pays the bills Liam doesnt pay for anything all he does is sit around the house drinking beer I know what youre thinking 'Gurl you need to drop him' right? Well I can't last time I did he broke in and threatened to kill Ethan and I couldnt go to the police cause hes related to almost all of them so yeah kinda stuck with him "Y/n your just in time someone is at one of your tables hurry now dont keep 'em waiting" my boss Harry said as he lightly shoved me into their direction "Hello welcome to Rosemary Café Im Y/n and Ill be your waitress for today lets start off with drinks" I say with a closed eyed smile the guys look up from the menu and I immediately recognize the voice but dont say anything "yeah I'll have a water what about you Brian?" The guy to my left asks his friend the guy I assume as Brian "c-coke please" answers ever so quietly it was barley over a whisper I wrote their orders down before speaking "they'll be right out" and with that I walked into the kitchen I began to freak a little bit mainly because they were Tobys friends Toby is Ethans dad I calmed myself down and brought out their drinks setting them in front of the customers before asking if they were ready to order they both ordered two pieces of cheesecake each once I wrote that down I walked back into the kitchen and got their orders they were lucky we only had four pieces of the cake left I loaded them onto two plates and walked to their table and set their food in front of them "enjoy call me if you need anything" I said as I walked to another table taking orders, writing them down, getting the orders from the kitchen and placing them on the right tables for the customers and repeated the process for a few hours It was finally time for me to get the kids at 4:57 pm so I left but not before saying bye to my favorite gay boss and my coworkers I jumped into the car and drove to the court house to file custody for Lilia which was surprisingly easy they called my sister Ruby to confirm that she didnt want the kid once that was finished I had complete custody over Lilia I then left driving straight to the daycare and got the kids then went into a McDonald's drive through ordering for Ethan and myself then driving home so we could all eat once we were done eating I gently picked Lilia up with Ethan following behind me and walked into the living room in attempt to calm her cry down which worked until the front door slammed open "Babe Im home" Liam yelled I knew it was him not by the way he yelled babe but by the smell of alcohol that poisoned the air around me, Ethan, and Lilia I sat up from the couch and turned to Ethan "hay bud you stay here and watch Lilia for me kay?" Ethan nodded I then showed him the right way to hold her and passed her to him gently I than made my way to the bed room I opened the door to 'Our' room only to see Liam staring at the crib "what.the.fuk.is.that?" He asked his voice low but full of anger "a baby crib what do you think moron" I snapped back he looked at me "there another kid?" He asked walking up to me "what if there is what are going to do about" I asked has he stepped into my bubble my heart pounded in my chest from fear but I wouldnt back down not this time anyways "now whos is it? ya know whats pretty well known to be spitting out children left and right?" he asked he then leaned closely into my ear and whispered one word with five letters in it "a Whore" he said I shoved him away from me which he chuckled to him "shes my niece and your drunk what are you even doing here? Dont you have a real whore to fuck around with somewhere else? What was her name Subitcha, Trasha, or no was it on of you many sisters ya know I can't remember" I said we stared at each other before a force knocked me to then floor my cheek stung like it had been burned with a lighter "I just got home your already pissing me off" he hissed at me "If we piss you off so much then leave" I snapped which only made him laugh "you'd like that huh?" We heard a giggle come from the living room it was in fact Ethan "you know I could just kill the kids neither of them are mine anyway" he said my body tensed my fear had multiplied the air around us was thick my heart pounded harder than ever it felt like my heart would explode in my chest from fear "dont please hes all I have left" I begged thats right I begged Ethan is my weakness but hes also my greatest strength Lilia is too sure I still have my sisters but they arent as close with as my baby boy is Liam laughed "there you go again begging to me like the stupid bitch you are" he sneered my eyes were glued to the floor as tears began to fill them the sound of Liams combat boots stomping the ground with every step he took towards me his alcohol filled breathe assaulted my nose as he spoke "I own you, you are to do what I way when I say it or I cant promise the childrens safety" he said barely a whisper as he lifted my face up to look at him his electric blue eyes met my e/c ones looking as if he was searching my soul he lifted his hand up as if he was going to hit me so I flinched and squeezed my eyes shut He sighed before standing up and leaving the room I stayed on the floor and began to cry that is until the door creaked opened again "mommy?" Ethan asked I looked up to see him holding Lilias still sleeping form in his arms he walked over to me slowly to not wake the child up "H-Hay bud" I said but stopped when he began to speak "you wan holf herw you pet you hand write this" he said mimicking me from earlier I laughs lightly and did as I was told he then handed me the sleeping child "careful shes dewict" he said I smile graced my lips as he pulled me into a side hug "it okie mommy" he smiled at me I nodded my head I took Lilia and laid her down in her crib then Ethan and I grabbed some blankets and headed to his room to watch tv we watched Pokémon till Ethan fell asleep I picked him up and moved the covers over before setting him back down and covering him up I turned the tv off along with the lights and left the room closing the door behind me I went into the living room to see Liam passed out on the couch It dont matter how much I might hate him but I cant let him sleep on the couch so I woke him up Liam hay its time to get up, you cant sleep on the couch youll hurt you back I said he grumbled something before stumbling into the bed room a sigh escaped me as I began to clean up the beer bottles and chip bags off the floor and table I turned the tv off before walking down the dark hall and into the bedroom I once again sighed when I saw Liam sprawled out on his side of the bed I sat down staring off in a daze I was brought back to reality at the sound of Lilia crying which also woke Liam shut that Bastard child up before I do it myself he grumbled out angerly in his sleep I walked over to her picking her just shut up and go back to sleep you dumb bastard I snapped back at him I grabbed her diaper bag and open my bedroom door I go in to the living room I set a blanket down before placing her on top of it on the blanket which made her cry even more then I change her diaper I through her dirty diaper away before making her another bottle once the bottle was finished I wrapped her up in a blanket like a new born before picking her crying form up from the floor and sitting down in the recliner giving her the bottle gently rocking back and forth Rock aby baby in the tree top when the wind blows the cradle will rock I sang quietly I stayed there for what felt like hours but could only be a few minutes it wasnt long until she was quietly sleeping once again a sigh of relief left me I got up careful not to wake up Lilia as I stood I made my way back into my room closing the door with my foot I laid Lilia down in her crib before lying down in my own bed allowing sleep to consume me completely.
