I was awoken by the sound of someone banging on the door I sat up sleepily and turn on the lamp on the bed side table and squinted my eyes to look at my alarm clock that read 4:54 Am in a bright blue light I sigh and got up as the knocking became louder I grabbed my robe off my bedroom door before going out into the hall passing the kitchen and to the front door I had just turn the hall light on and got done tying my robe when I opened the door to reveal my sister in the pouring rain "hey sis mind if I come in?" She asked I sighed and open the door wider letting her in she was shivering so I went into the bathroom to get her a towel "Jessica what are you doing here did you and Austin get into a fight again" I asked she wrapped the towel around herself before answering my question "sort of um Ruby showed up at the house saying how she couldn't take care of Lilia anymore and I tried to talk Austin into letting her stay with us but he refused she an infant but he still said no I didn't know who else to turn to" she said breaking into tears I sighed "so you want me to take her in?" I asked Jessica nodded she looked at me with pleading eyes begging me to take the poor child "please I dont want her to go into foster care and end up in a house like we were please" she begged I gave her a concerned look before speaking "I-I dont know Liams going to be back in a few days and he wont be happy with another child in the house..." I trailed off she gasped and looked at me as if I had two heads "your still with that monster" she asked I looked away from her "I-Its complicated" I said trying to think of an excuse but came up empty handed "Y/n he hurt you why are you still with him" she asked tears clouded my vision "I-I dont know I....Damn it its complicated" I said I held back the tears before speaking "Fine I'll take the child in but you'd better leave I dont want the neighbors calling Liam" I said she nodded before opening the front door and running out to her car not long after she walked out she returned with a car seat a diaper bag and an easy up and go crib "she has two tubs of baby formula and at least half a months worth of diapers um her pacifier and one of her bottles are in the car seat with her" she said as she sets everything down she walked up to me and gave me a hug "please be careful sis and thank you so much for doing this" she said as she walked to the door I followed her "stay safe" I said as I waved her off closing the door and locking it before picking up the baby stuff walking into my room I first set up the baby crib next to my side of the bed towards the wall then take the quietly sleeping one month old child from her car seat and laid her in the crib covering her up with a blanket I let out yet another sigh before playing a quite lullaby to insure that she stays asleep I untie my robe and hung it up on my bedroom door before climbing back in to bed and drifting off into sleep. I was once again awoken but this time it wasn't from knocking on the door but that of a crying child I got up from my comfortable bed and walked over to the crying infant I gentle picked up the fragile creature and lightly hugged her to my chest I grabbed the diaper bag and took out a diaper, wipes, her bottle, and the open tub of formula first I changed her diaper I picked Lilia up and began walking to the kitchen but not before throwing the dirty diaper away "hush little baby dont say a word mama going to buy you a mocking bird If that mocking bird dont sing mamas going to buy you a diamond ring" I hummed to her quietly as I finished making her bottle once it was done I gave it to her I jumped when I heard the voice of my five year old son "mommy whys it sow wloud in herw" he asked rubbing his eyes "oh sorry buddy your cousin Lilias going to be living with us now" I said his eyes lit up as he ran over to see her I squatted down to his level once he saw her the light in his eyes dead just as fast as it had arrived "wut bout wiam?" He asked he never called Liam daddy cause hes not Liams biological kid and even if he was Liam has made it quite clear he doesnt want kids I of course refused to give my child up for adoption and tried to leave Liam but he wouldnt let me I used to have a lot of friends but they were either scared off by Liam or were friends with Ethan's dad and we lost contact "I... dont know buddy Ill have a talk with him when he gets home go sit at the table and I'll make some breakfast kay?" I said Ethan nodded as he tried to climb on to one of the chairs I giggled and left the room to get the car seat for Lilia once I had the car seat I set it on the table before gently put Lilia in it and covering her up I got the eggs out cracking them in to a bowel and pouring a little bit of milk into it I then lightly beat the eggs and mixed them together before getting butter and a skillet out I turned the stove on and set the skillet onto the burner I put a small amount of butter into the pan and let it melt and I get yet another skillet and set it on another burner and get out the bacon I put six pieces of bacon into the pan to my left and pit a lid over it I set a time for 5 minutes I then poured the eggs in to the pan with melted butter on my right and let it set there for a few minutes before steering it around the pan with in about ten minutes the food was ready I made Ethan's plate first them my own I set his plate in front of him and ruffled his brown hair he got from his dad "what do you want to drink today bud" I asked as I walked to the fridge he likes to change his drinks around a bit every morning "O-juice" he said with a toothy grin I smiled and nodded as I grabbed the orange juice container "momma why cont we eat Eiffel's?" He asked I giggled as I filled his sippy cup up half way I set the juice jug down and screwed the lids onto both the sippy cup and jug I put the orange jug away and gave Ethan his cup "Ethan you are so much like your father" I said as I kissed his head and walked over to the cabinet to get me a mug I set my mug in the coffee machine and pressed a button I waited as the brown liquid filled my cup once it was done I turn the machine off and poured a little bit of milk and creamer into my coffee before putting everything back up I walked to the table to see that Ethan hasn't eaten his food yet "Ethan eat for food before it gets cold" I said as I sat down he nodded before speaking "I was wait for you momma" he said I giggled and picked up my fork as we both began eating once we were finished eating I took our dishes and put them in the sink "Ethan go get dressed so you can go to day care" I shouted from the kitchen he was in his room "Ahh mommy whelp" he shouted attempting to run to the kitchen only to run into the wall instead I looked at him and began laughing he had put his arm through the neck hole and was trying to pull his head through the sleeve hole "whelp" he said again "Ethan your such a goof ball" I said trying to calm my laughing down as I helped him fix his shirt "Im fee" he shouted again this time waking Lilia up I giggled as he ran back into his room I walked over to the car seat and handed Lilia the half-finished bottle which she greedily took I pulled the hood over her car seat once again and made my way to my room to change into my uniform I put my h/c hair into a neat bun and applied a little bit of makeup before slipping on a pair of black flats I received from a friend for my birthday about a year before Ethan was born I grabbed the diaper bag and my purse alone with my keys before unlocking the front door I walk out to my car and set the diaper bag in the front seat with my purse as I made my way to the door I noticed someone watching me I looked towards the person but no one was there so I shrugged it off I walked inside to see Ethan putting his shoes on I walked into the kitchen grabbing Lilias car seat and made my way back to the car with Ethan following behind me I buckle Lilia into her seat and then her seat into the car before shutting the door and the passenger door as well as walking over to Ethans side I tried to help him but he refused when I heard a satisfy click of the seatbelt I turned the little tv at the back of my seat on for Ethan the sound of the Ponyo opening song began to play as I shut his door walking to the front door locking it and jogging back to my car shutting the door behind me I put the keys into the ignition and turn it starting the car with a loud rawr which Ethan then copied giggling after wards a smile graced my lips as I backed out of the drive way and into the road driving off in the direction of the day care.
