It was finally time. I had prepared for two months for the moment when I would rescue Lilliana. I had to fulfill her father's wish, and protect her.

So I quickly changed into my replica guard uniform which my mother sewed for me. I was going to sneak my way in with a disguise.

I ran towards the palace and tried to walk calmly when I neared the gates. As stood before the gate nervous if they would believe my ruse, that I was a castle guard.

I stood as still as a statue as they opened the gates and let me inside. I sighed a breath relief and entered the palace grounds.

I quickly navigated my depths of the castle, because I knew Lilliana would be in the dungeons below.

When I finally found my way there, I could see a person in a cell, illuminated by some sunlight.

"Lilliana!" I called out desperately, "Is that you?"

The person perked up and stepped towards the bars.

"Did you Lilliana?" said a scrawly voice.

"Yes, do you know where she is?"

"She's in... terrible peril..." it said weakly.

"What's happened to her? Is she all right?" I panicked.

"I honestly do not know...I suppose she would be in dining hall by now. I suspect it would luncheon about now." he said, "But you must hurry."

"Who are you? You sound familiar." I said trying to figure out the voice.

"I'm Oliver Winthrash, Prince of Arcania." he coughed.

"Prince!? Why are you locked up then?"

"No time to explain, please hurry!" Oliver yelled with all his might.

"I will come back for you , I promise you that." I said as I ran back up to main level.

I searched my way to the dining hall, and burst in. To my surprise, there was only one person there. It was a well dressed man in a chair, looking smug.

"I see Oliver did his job of getting you here." he smirked, "I also see you are here to rescue your little friend Lilliana. Well sir I know for certain that is not going to happen."

"And who, might I ask, are you?" I said glaring at the man.

"My name is Edward Winthrash, Prince of Arcania, and future ruler of this kingdom."

"What have you done with her!? Let me see her!" I demanded.

"All in good time, William. We have much to discuss."
