Dear Sydney,

    Alright, so December 3rd it is. I'm excited to see you then.

    I guess you'll reply back to this when you get home from tour, so at least you'll have something nice from me waiting for you. Or kind of nice.

    Have a blast on tour. I know that this is what you've wanted for longer than you can remember, and far longer than I've known you. I'm so proud that you're out there living your dream, it's truly spectacular.

    Now for the slightly less supportive part of this letter.

    I'm going to disobey your order to not mention your roommates, since that seems to be an obvious thing. Your roommates are male. Yes, I understand that you have a girl living with you as well, but two out of your three roommates are men. Very very straight men, as I have been reminded countless times. So you being upset that I have become friends with someone new after you left is highly hypocritical. It doesn't matter if she's a girl, she's a friend, and I'm not living with her.

    I honestly don't understand how you can't see the hypocrisy in your anger at me.

    But that's okay. I love you. And we're going to get through this.

    Trey just got here today, and we're about to go out and have a good time. Have a blast on your tour babe, and I'll get your reply when you get home.
