Annabeth POV

We're close. I can tell. It's been weeks since I've seen my seaweedbrain the time has been killing me. Every seconds like torture. I can't bare it much longer. Piper stands on one side of me as we move through the dark cave. She squeezes my hand in a reassuring way.

As we walk I sing heart wants what it wants by silena Gomez in my mind.

We run into a solid dead end. I sob quietly. Leo looks sad, I know it's bad if Leo is upset so I shove my fist into my mouth to silence them. As I do, I hear a cracking g sound,like a whip on skin. We all stand still as statues counting

PERCY POV

I wince slightly with each blow. But it's ok. My back was numb from my whipping 3 weeks ago, haven't felt a thing since.

In fact, I haven't felt anything since 3 weeks ago, when Gaea was particularly mad...

Flash back:

Gaea wakes me up by dumping water on me, everything on me heals. I look up in shock.

She walks out without a word.

Later that day my room suddenly is in flames, they scorch me and when I'm about to die water puts it out, it saves me from dying but doesn't heal me. Then my room floods with poison, I eventually breath it in and start chocking again.

Again the water comes.

Then she literally summoned every monster I'd ever fought. (They must have filled out applications saying do you want revenge on Percy Jackson [] Yes []No)

That day, I was burnt,poisoned,bit,stung,shot,licked,stabbed,flattened,drowned,stoned,paralyzed,cut and well lots of other things. Each monster would almost kill me , then they'd stick a, needle into my neck with enough water to keep me from dying.

I went to bed numb and haven't woken up feeling since.

END OF FLASH BACK.

Kronos exited with his whip and i slowly drift to sleep, thinking about how refreshing death would be. To go to sleep and never wake up.
