#𝟎𝟎𝟏. Uh ... Auradon Prep??

One way or another, [Name] Fabien-König knew he was going to get off the Isle of the Lost. And when he got off the Isle, he was going to be the problem that people said he was.

The people who forced [Name] onto that stupid island would never find out, but the villains and the villain kids acted worse than they would've if they were on the Isle. Poor living conditions do that to you.

Locked on a shitty island which prohibited magic that had no Wi-Fi and no way out? You'd be surprised that nice people would even exist on that shithole.

However, this shithole is exactly where we find [Name] Fabien-König, our main character.

"The five of you have been chosen to go to a different school," the Dark Fairy began, smiling as she watched the smile fall on their faces. "A boarding school -- over in Auradon."

[Name] seemed to be the only one of his friends that didn't try to run away, having been frozen where he was standing due to the shock. Who decides to just invite random villain kids to the place where no harm is supposed to be done?

"Are you joking?" Maleficent's daughter, Malorie Thorn, spoke after her mother's henchmen refused to let her run away. "I am NOT going to some boarding school with - prissy . . . pink princesses!"

"And perfect princes!" Evelyn Hounan-Queen, daughter of the Evil Queen, smiled gleefully. But when she saw the look Mal gave her, she changed her response: "Ugh!"

"I don't wear uniforms," Jafar's son, Jaylon, spoke with a smirk. "Unless it's made of leather - you feel me?"

He was going in for a high-five with Carlos, but the salt-n-pepper boy moved forwards at the last second. Jay would've been left hanging if it weren't for [Name].

"Leather makes you look hot and bothered," [Name] commented with a wink. "And not in a good way - I'd probably pay to see that."

Jay looked away from [Name], embarrassed and face hot. [Name] smirked to himself in triumph.

"I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon," Cruella De Vil's son - Carlos De Vil - explained, breathing heavily at the thought. "Mum says that they're rabid pack animals who eat little boys who don't behave . . . -"

Jay had snuck up behind Carlos, putting his arms on him to scare him, which Carlos hit Jay's arm after realising what had happened.

"I don't mind going to Auradon," [Name] began, getting looks from the rest of his friends. "But who in their right mind would let us into Auradon?- Let alone invite us to their school."

"Benjamin Lebeast and Audrey Beauty, the last time I checked- or cared, really." Maleficent replied after a moment of silence. "I'm gleeful with your enthusiasm, but you five aren't going there without a task, I can tell you that much."

"Okay, that's cool," Malorie spoke up. "But mum, we're not going."

"This is about world domination!" Maleficent spoke, becoming her daughter to walk with her after she'd turned around, "Maal~" And that also meant the others should follow after her.

They now found themselves inside of the main five's Villain Parent's living quarters. Maleficent was sitting on her throne and was filing her nails as if she didn't want to be there.

"You will go, you will find me the Fairy Godmother, and you will bring me her magic wand," Maleficent glanced at them for half a second. "Easy peasy."

"Cool, but what's in it for us?" Malorie questions.

Maleficent shrugged her shoulders, "Matching thrones. Hers-and-hers crowns?"

"No," [Name] disagreed immediately, gesturing to all five of them, "She meant what's in it for us. The five of us? Not just you and her."

He wanted nothing more to get this whole meeting thing over and done with, so that he could go to their own living quarters and just chillax before they had to get up and move.

The forced wingless fairy leaned forward in her chair, "Tell me, [Name], do you enjoy watching innocent people suffer?"

If he wanted to be completely honest, no. He liked annoying people, but going out of his way to make their day miserable is just downright cruel - he's a demi-god, not a monster.

[Name] sighed. "There are a lot of things I enjoy doing -"

"Well then get me that wand- we can see that and so much more!" Maleficent exclaimed, raising out of her chair. "With that wand and my sceptre, I'll be able to bend both good and evil to my will!"

"Our will," the Evil Queen -known to few as Paris (like parasite) Queen- corrected offhandedly.

"Our will, our will," Maleficent waved off. Then she snapped her fingers, [Name] and Mal turned to face her. "And if you refuse, you're grounded for the rest of your life."

"You can't ground me," [Name] reminded her.

Mal tried to protest as well, but her mother pretended that she was physically squishing her lips, which got her to stop talking.

Maleficent's eyes glowed green and Malorie followed, only to lose the competition and give in.

They'd have to go regardless because the Auradon car was already on its way.

"Fine," Malorie scoffed in defeat, "whatever after."

"I win," Maleficent smiled in victory, putting eye drops into her eyes for good measure.

"Evie, my little evil-lette in training," Paris called out, making her midnight-blue haired daughter waltz over. "You just find yourself a Prince with a big castle, and a mother in law wing."

"And lot's and lot's of mirrors!" Paris and Evelyn said together.

Evelyn giggled in delight at the thought, but her mother caught her out on the matter.

"No laughing, dear, wrinkles."

Evelyn's smile dropped immediately.

[Name] rolled his eyes at the matter. It was pretty sad that the Queen's only focus was on her daughter's looks - even if she just wanted to make sure Evie was well liked and got the best she could (as well as fall in love) it was still a bit much.

He was just glad that his own father wasn't as bad as these lot were. Maleficent just wanted to use her daughter to get something that isn't valued to Mal. The Evil Queen did want what's best for her daughter even if it was a bit shallow.

Jafar wanted to get back at Aladdin and Jasmin so he got his son to steal stuff, and Cruella used her son as child labour.

"They're not taking my Carlos," Cruella complained, "because I'd miss him too much."

Carlos looked at his mother in genuine surprise, "Really, mum?"

"Of course, who would touch up my roots, fluff up my fur -" she put her leg in her son's hands " - and scrape the bunions off my feet?"

There it was.

"Huh," Carlos muttered in disappointment, "maybe going to a school in Auradon wouldn't be the worst thing in the world."

"Oh, Carlos, they have dogs in Auradon." "Oh no, I'm not going!"

Maleficent put her head in her hands as she groaned quite loudly, listening to her villain companions and their shallow concerns. Were they really not seeing the bigger picture?

"Evelyn's not going anywhere until we get rid of this unibrow," Paris brought out her tweezers. "[Name], I'm not your mother but I know smile lines are not attractive to the teenage girl - wipe that smile off your face!"

Jeeze, [Name]'s smile turned into a scowl as he crossed his arms. How is she so sure that I'm not into guys? What if I was?

Maleficent snapped her fingers. "Oi, here." Which brought [Name] over, even though he thought that the gesture was for Mal. "When you get to Auradon, make it your mission to keep these idiots in line while you try and get the wand. Hades and I had a discussion- go and see him before you guys leave, he has some things for you."

Maleficent and Hades actually had a conversation - nowadays, that's new. [Name] was almost amused.

He took the moment he had right there to leave the parent villain's hideout (or whatever they wanted to call it) and made it to his dad's lair.

"Cecelia," [Name] spoke - startled to see her there. "Have you seen my father anywhere? I wanted to see him before I go."

"Go?" Cecelia repeated, confused. "Go where? We aren't allowed off the Island, [Name], you know that."

He knew that if he was going to say this, then she was going to be more than disappointed.

It's not like Cecelia wanted to leave her father, nor the little business she ran, but he knew that she also wanted to have new opportunities while being in a different environment.

"I've been forced to go to a school in Auradon, that's what I mean by go." [Name] clarified. "I don't know who thought it was a good idea to send a god to Auradon, but it's happening."

"Can I come with you?" Cecelia questioned with sparkles in her eyes.

"Hate to break it to you, but I'm pretty sure it's invite only. If, and only if, the king and queen decide to bring more kids out, then you'd get a chance."

The two of them turned 'round to see Hades standing at the top of whatever this complex was.

"Hey, kid."

[Name] spoke, "I was told that you had something for me?"

"A few things, actually." Hades replied. "Jewellery, things to remember the Isle, something that teaches you about your powers . . . you get what I mean."

Cecelia took this moment to leave Hades and [Name] to have a conversation in private.

"But I already know what my powers can do," [Name] replied.

"Well then, I guess you should read this - It'll help you a lot more than you realise."

A small bag full of what [Name] can only assume contained a book and rings or earrings was placed into his hands. Hades didn't know what to do after giving it to him, so he patted him on the shoulder.

"Hope you enjoy yourself out there."

"I'll try to," [Name] smiled. "But I'm gonna miss this place regardless."

A fist bump was shared between father and son before [Name] left Hades' abode to head out to the front of the villain's parents hideout.

However, he feels like he needs to say goodbye to a few more people. People who he knew would be furious if he left with little to no explanation.

"Gill, Harry?" [Name] questioned as he entered the fish and chips (or whatever it was called, he couldn't remember). "Uma?"

He stood apart from the doorway, before he was tackled into a headlock. The moment [Name] realised what was happening and was about to use his powers, he caught the face of someone he was looking for.

"Don't scare me like that, Harry!" [Name] scolded as Harry, son of Captain Hook, let go of him.

A smile crept it's way onto Harry's face as he got a good look at [Name]. "What's with the fancy bag? Heading somewhere?"

"Yes, actually," [Name] replied with a sigh, "I wanted to say farewell - I'm being forced to go to Auradon."

Harry's smile dropped immediately. He looked around with a serious expression on his face and led [Name] out of the fish-n-chips shop, down to the path of Uma's pirate ship.

"I'm guessing you don't like the sound of that?" [Name] replied with a quirky brow.

"Not much," Harry said. "I know someone who's going to be furious - better you talk to her now rather than her finding out . . . and then you're dead."

Uma was not a person to mess with. [Name] knew that very well, especially after Malorie played a prank on her, and he was attacked after trying to help Uma.

[Name] actually hadn't been to Uma's pirate ship in a long time, considering that Malorie doesn't like talking about Uma (that or she completely forgot about her) and Maleficent is forcing him to keep an eye on her daughter.

A job she should be doing herself, [Name] realised.

Uma's figure appears in [Name]'s line of vision with a smile on her face. She seemed to be in a good mood, and he was about to ruin it.

"[Name] Fabien-König, to whom do I owe the pleasure?" Uma greeted, pushing his shoulder playfully.

"What's wrong? You look upset - not a nice emotion on your features."

Ursula's daughter is also great with flattery. How nice.

"Owe the pleasure to Auradon," [Name] replied, showing her the bag in his hand. "After being exiled here for six years, they decide they want me back."

Uma's face fell and was replaced with anger. "Who in their right mind thinks of this? What do they want with you?"

"To give me a second chance, I'm guessing." [Name] explained himself, shrugging his shoulders. "Someone decided to let villains into Auradon, and they're going to realise their mistake. - I've come to say goodbye."

"You're going right now?" Uma's eyes widened in shock. "You didn't even want to give us a heads up?"

"I just found out today - if I knew sooner I would've told you immediately." [Name] rolled his eyes. "Where's Gill? I owe him a goodbye as well."

"I don't know, actually?"

"What do you mean, you don't know? I thought he always follows you around!"

"He does, but this time he isn't! I thought that he was with you and Harry - he certainly likes to follow you two around."

The arguing continues, before Harry reminds the two of them that [Name] needs to go.

On his way back, [Name] had passed the Auradon car on the way around (and he assumed that his stuff was already in there because he saw people holding bags that looked similar to ones that he owned).

He watched as Jay stole something from the front of the car before opening the door, letting [Name] in once he spotted him.

"The last jackal has landed," The Auradon driver muttered, speaking into his intercom.

The doors closed and the five of them sat quietly in the car. [Name] sat in between Carlos and Jay, and all was silent before Evelyn noticed something.

"You're looking a little washed out, let me help you," The bluenette spoke, getting something out of her bag.

"Please, Evelyn, stop. I'm -. . . Plotting," Malorie commented, pushing away the brush Evelyn got out from her face.

Evelyn rolled her eyes in exasperation. "Well, it's not very attractive."

Carlos grabbed a peanut butter cup and took a bite (so somehow there was food inside of the car, [Name] noted).

"Ooh! These - it's salty, like nuts, but it's sweet . . . like I don't know what." Carlos explained as [Name] and Jay turned to look at him.

[Name] took the thing from his hand and took a bite. "Oh - that is not nice at all." He gagged, forcing himself to swallow whatever he willingly took a bite off.

"Give me one, let me see." Jay demanded.

Carlos opened his mouth to show Jay, but Jay slapped him on the face in disgust. "That is not what I meant - you know that."

"Then maybe you should be more clear with your instructions!"

[Name] on the other hand, had grabbed something else and was delighted at the sweet taste. "Now these are something I could die eating."

Evelyn took notice of [Name]'s remark, and she took one of the gummy bears [Name] had picked up - silently enjoying it before something caught her attention.

Jay picked up the peanut butter cup but he didn't get to enjoy the treat as Evelyn's eyes widened.

"Look!" Evelyn exclaimed, pointing at the front of the car.

The car was reaching the end of the road, which meant that they were all going to die if the car continued on.

"It's a trap!" Carlos exclaimed, grabbing onto [Name] - which happened to be the closest thing to him.

They all braced themselves for impact, but once that impact didn't follow, they opened their eyes in confusion. Most if not all of them were expecting the car to just drop into the water.

"What . . . just happened?" Carlos questioned, slowly losing his grip on [Name].

"Look at the bridge - it's golden," [Name] muttered.

Evelyn added, "it must be magic."

"Hey - did this little button just open up the barrier and cause the bridge to appear?" Malorie asked the driver as she showed the thing she was holding.

"No. This button opened up the barrier - the bridge is magic," the driver responded. "That one opens up my garage. And this one . . . -"

A seam came up and blocked Mal's view of the driver and what was going on ahead of them.

"Okay . . . nasty - I like that guy." Malorie smirked.

"Weirdo alert," [Name] rolled his eyes.

The people of Auradon were playing a tune to welcome the newcomers. The guys who were playing the drums/trumpets had blue, white and yellow shirts, with the words "Auradon Knights," on the front.

The driver that had brought the villain kids over, gets out of the car and opens the door. and as soon as the door opened, Carlos toppled out of it. He was screaming, and that made the band stop playing in confusion.

"Oww! Stop it! - You get to have everything else, why do you want whatever this is?"

Fairy Godmother, the school's headmistress, watched the ongoing conflict and her smile slowly faded and was replaced with concern.

"I want it because you want it," Jay replied as he stepped out of the car.

[Name] rolled his eyes as he also got out of the car. He ripped the scarf out of Jay and Carlos's hands and burnt it in front of their eyes (and anyone else who was watching).

"Oh, look at that. Now neither of you get it!"

[Name] had never really burnt anything with his own magic because the Isle restricted how much of his powers he was allowed to use. Jay glared at him but [Name] only tilted his head and acted like he was going to set his hands on fire again.

Malorie hurriedly stood between [Name] and Jay just as Fairy Godmother and two other people made their way to stand in front of them.

"Leave it like you found it!" Fairy Godmother said in her sing-song like manner. "And by that, I mean just leave it."

Jay's forced smile faded as he opened the door to throw the things he'd taken from Carlos back in.

Carlos was given a hand by [Name] to stand up, brushing off the ashes of the scarf that landed on him in the process.

Jay was about to make a move on the brunette girl that was in front of them, so [Name] stopped him to save himself from the embarrassment. "Don't look at me like that - you know I knew what you were going to do. It only works on Carlos, you know."

Fairy Godmother continued to talk. "Welcome to Auradon Prep, as you know, I'm Farrah Goodfairy - also known as Fairy Godmother - Headmistress of the school."

"As in bibbidi-bobbidi-boo?" Malorie questioned.

"Bibbidi-bobbidi, you know it!" Farrah smiled.

"I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared out of nowhere - with that sparkling wand - and that warm smile, and that sparkling wand . . ." Malorie explained.

Farrah smiled at the comment. "That was a long time ago, and as I always say, don't focus on the past or else you'll miss the future!"

Malorie's fake smile grew wider at the mention.

"It's so good to finally meet you all, I'm Ben," the guy who was standing next to Fairy Godmother.

"Prince Benjamin," the girl who was clinging to his arm remembered. "Soon to be King."

Evelyn stepped forward with a dreamy smile. "You had me at Prince! My mother's a queen, which makes me a Princess."

"The Evil Queen has no royal status here, and neither do you." The girl reminded, pushing Ben's arm closer towards her chest - hoping that Evelyn would take a hint.

"As far as I'm concerned, that's not how royalty works," [Name] corrected her. "Evelyn is still technically a princess even if the Evil Queen doesn't rule a kingdom - they didn't abdicate from the throne, so your point in invalid."

"This is Audrey," Benjamin said, cutting the staring contest off.

"Princess! Audrey - his girlfriend." Audrey added, staring down Evelyn, who backed off after the attitude she was receiving.

These were the people who suggested they come to Auradon? Maybe this stay would go a lot worse than [Name] thought it would.

"Ben and Audrey are going to show you around, and I'll see you tomorrow," Farrah Goodfairy said. "The doors of wisdom are never shut! - But the Library hours are from eight to eleven, and as you may have heard, I have a little thing about curfews."

The five of them hummed in agreement and Farrah walked away (with the welcoming band), leaving Benjamin and Audrey standing in front of the villain kids.

"It is so, so good to finally meet you all," Benjamin said (wincing after getting punched by Jay). "This is a momentous occasion, and one that I hope will go down in history -" he felt something on his hands as he shook Carlos's " - Is that chocolate?"

Carlos nodded and sucked the rest of the chocolate on his hands, as Ben went on to shake the hands of the next person.

"As the day our two worlds began to heal," Benjamin continued on with his speech, making it to [Name].

As their hands connected, Benjamin couldn't help but stare into [Name]'s [Eye colour] eyes. There was something about it that made him want to do more than just stare, but he was also distracted at the warmth of [Name]'s hands - probably the cause of whatever the burn smell was.

"Can I have my hand back, please?" [Name] asked with a raised eyebrow, trying to tug his hand away from Ben's.

If he really focused on Benjamin's face, then he would notice a light blush spread across his features.

Ben let go and went on to hold Malorie's hand - who would let the interaction slide until she needed to bring it up.

"Or the day that you showed us where the bathrooms are," Mal taunted.

"A bit over the top?" Ben questioned, looking at the five of them.

Audrey noticed that something happened when Ben shook [Name]'s hand, and she was going to bring it up with Ben- but not in front of these kids. She feared that they would somehow use it against her later on if she were to say something now.

"A bit more than a little bit," Malorie replied.

So much so for my first impression, Benjamin thought to himself, as he watched a glint in Audrey's eyes appear and disappear.

"Hey, you're the son of Hades, right?" Audrey perked up. "I bet it must've been super devastating for Demeter to find out that her daughter had been kidnapped- and as peaceful as your father tries to be, I don't think he'll ever let go of that. I mean, being the cause of Autumn and Winter? Oh, and they even had the nerve to send you back here after ...- what was it? - six years? Super fun!"

"Sleeping Beauty's daughter, right?" [Name] replied. "Funny how your grandparents didn't invite one person to their little baby shower, and all of that happened to your mum. I bet your grandmother was devastated to realise that she would never see Aurora's first . . . anything, really. Kind of ironic how that fairy tried to kill everyone who was there- right? And you're still allowed to be dating the crown prince? How the rules have changed . . . "

They glare at each other for a minute before either of them decide they want to talk next.

"Water under the bridge," Audrey fakely smiled.

"Totes," [Name] replied, the smile he was wearing was equally as fake.

The others noticed that the immediate area was slightly warmer, and Benjamin took this opportunity to start the tour and take this conversation inside of the school.

"Auradon Prep, originally built three hundred odd years ago, was converted into a boarding school when my father became king," Benjamin clapped his hands and the statue of his father turned into a beast.

Carlos immediately jumped into Jay's hands as he let out a scream.

"My father wanted his stature to morph from beast to man to remind us anything is possible," Benjamin explained with a smile, "I probably should've led with that."

[Name] smiled at the thought. "Would've been more interesting... Does he shed much?"

"Yeah, mum won't let him on the couch," Benjamin smiled back.

"Do you guys have a lot of magic here in Auradon?" Malorie questioned. "Just wondering - we're not allowed magic thanks to your dad."

"It exists, but it's retired - most of us are just ordinary mortals," Ben joked.

The villain kids all looked at [Name] who's face dropped as he realised what they were hinting at.

[Name]'s eyes rolled. "Those ordinary mortals just happen to be future kings and queens - which reminds me that two out of five of us are royalty."

"Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years!" Audrey smiled as she put Ben's arms around her shoulders.

"My family are gods and were worshipped before your bloodline was a thought," [Name] countered.

"Doug?" Benjamin called out, again breaking up the fight between [Name] and Audrey. "Hey, Doug, come down." Once he was down, Ben started explaining. "This is Doug, he's going to help you with your class schedules and show you the rest of the dorms. I'll see you later, okay? If there's anything you need, feel free to -"

"- ask Doug!" Audrey replied, tugging on Ben's arm to pull him away from the villain kids. This was the perfect time to ask whatever the hell was going on with her boyfriend.

"I'm Dopey's son - as in Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy and -" He was distracted by Evelyn, but shook his head and got back on track. "So about your classes, I've put in the requirements already . . . History of Woodsmen and Pirates, Safety Rules for the Internet, and . . . Remedial Goodness 101."

"Let me guess, new class?" Mal's smile dropped as she got the answer she wanted. "Come on, let's go find our dorms."

Doug watched Evelyn leave, before he realised that they were going the wrong way. "Guys, your dorms are that way."

Mal groaned as she was already at the top of the stairs, but the others hurried down and she followed behind them, in the direction of their new homes.

"Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, and . . ." Doug said, forgetting the name of his sixth uncle.

"Sneezy," Carlos completed.

[Name] made his way into the dorms, and found out he wasn't sharing with either Carlos or Jay. Five is an odd number, but why couldn't they make an exception for him?

"Oh - you're the Hades kid, aren't you?" The blond boy spoke, putting his hands on his hips.

"[Name] Fabien-König, not a pleasure to meet you, whatsoever," [Name] introduced himself to his new dorm-mate.

"Chad Charming, likewise," the guy he now knew as Chad returned the favour.

This stay was going a lot worse than [Name] anticipated. Hopefully, he and the others would get this task done as soon as possible, so that [Name] wouldn't see Chad again.

"I've seen you around before, aren't you also Persephone's son?" Chad questions, walking around to get a better look at [Name].

"I am - exiled to the Isle of the Lost at ten years old." [Name]'s eye twitched in annoyance. "I'm back after six years, is that all you wanted to know?"

Chad's hand barely grazes his face, "You do look a lot like her, now that I've got a better look at you . . . - you're pretty."

[Name] raised his eyebrow and stepped back from Chad's hands. If this is what Auradon was like while he was gone, he wants no part in it.

"Audrey spoke to me about you, said something about keeping an eye on Benjamin just in case he catches feelings for you," Chad shrugged, giving [Name] a once over before heading to his desk. "Wouldn't blame him- but he and Auds have been dating for years now."

"Years are nothing when it comes to me," [Name] muttered, watching Chad walk away. "Are you flirting with me or are you just talking? Both are weird, when it comes to you, at least."

"I'm just saying!" Chad reassured, though it didn't sound the least bit reassuring. "If anything, in the next few weeks they might break up."

[Name] narrowed his eyes. "And why are you telling me this? I didn't think you'd be comfortable with a villain kid in your room."

"I," the blond paused, sighing to himself. "I knew you -knew of you- back when we were younger. I thought you were really cool, but Audrey wouldn't let me talk to you. So I'm taking my chance now."

That was strangely sweet.

So maybe [Name] misjudged this place for his first time being back. Knowing that information, maybe Auradon wasn't so bad after all.
