Iris P.O.V

These FUG people wanted to kill Jahad and all sorts of things.

But to do so, they need to be irregular. That's why they have this other slayer candidate, known as Jue Viole Grace. I haven't met the guy, but grace sounds familiar.

'Grace' I looked up in my lighthouse, the ombre, multi-colour one.

Arlene Grace - Climbed the tower alongside Jahad, V, heads of the 10 great families. Whereabouts, unknown... More info upon arriving past the 20th floor, where you will become an E-class regular, right now you are an F-class.

Why do these 'wait till you're on a higher floor for more info' feel so targeted towards me? Like is someone trying to sell me something? Scam me?

Anyways, FUG sent some people to train me, one guy should be arriving soon. His name was Ha Jinsung. I looked him up in my lighthouse. Info like he's a high ranker from FUG and is from the Ha family. Joined them to get revenge on the 10 great families. He fell in love with an unnamed woman, but issues occurred to him wiping out an entire branch of the Ha family.

Damn, that dude has some issues...

"Hello, you must be the newest slayer candidate. I'm Ha Jinsung, and you must be Iris Liberty, known as 'Queen' across the lower class floors."

"Well, what are you supposed to do, I don't really need much training. I'm already incredibly strong."

"There are way stronger people up there than you think little girl, but we can start with concentrated shinsoo blast with the rock golem." He pointed at a pile of rocks, that soon turned into a golem.

"Ok, that seems easy."

"Well it's not, even the other slayer nominee had some issues, and he's extremely gifted in shinsoo. It even amazes me, so show me what you got." He lit a cigarette.

*Smash*

I annihilated the golem in one easy shot. It was easy, I already know almost everything there is about shinsoo techniques.

I looked over to him, his face was shocked. I'm so amazing, I even made a high ranker shook. He even dropped his cigarette.

"Smoking is not good for your lungs, try lollipops. Besides, I don't want cancer from secondhand smoking." I handed him a big bag of lollipops, that I was gifted from an admirer, I had tons.

"Welp, do you have anything else to teach me Teach'? Or are you just gonna be an old man?"

"I need to talk with the FUG elders about you, they may have underestimated you too much. Well, I'm gone, practice training or something."

He left. I decided to use this time to look up stuff about this mysterious FUG organization.

Man, so many people with grudges.

Jinsung Ha P.O.V

The FUG elders told me to train this girl after I started with Viole. They said they'd been watching her ever since she took the floor test. Then she'd shown amazing skills climbing the tower. Since she was an irregular, mysterious power, she and Viole would be a force to be reckoned with. With the right training.

Though, I don't think she needs much training, just a bit of teaching. I raised the difficulty on the rock, just to test her, and she still broke through it no problem. I could feel tremendous power in her.

Whatever the FUG elders are planning with her, their plan needs to be on par with her abilities. So training her seems useless.

The discussion went ok. The elders wanted to quickly bring her to the middle floors, instead of the low ones, and they planned to give her teammates. I don't think that one will work out much, she seems like the type that's hard to get along with.

Once she is on the middle floors, they'll want to have a final test for her. After training her with various other people up the journey of the tower. If she passes, they'll have a vote.

Well, now I have 2 people to brag about to those old pals at bingo.

But making her a slayer applicant already, only on the 20th floor.... Do they really think she's that monstrous?

Out of all the pre-slayer positions, that's the highest one. A Slayer nominee is where someone has nominated a person as a slayer. They go on to becoming a slayer candidate much later after they have grown stronger. More leaders, elders and members will have joined on board with a slayer candidate.

Once the majority of the FUG elders, leaders, and members have agreed that that slayer candidate is truly worthy of becoming a slayer, the person is promoted to slayer applicant. Only a matter of time until a vote is held for them to become a slayer.

Iris P.O.V

It's so boring waiting, so I decided to look up information about FUG.

Wonder what FUG stands for? Maybe something like Free Us Greatly, Farewell Ugly Guys.

So according to my special lighthouse, the multi-chrome one. It's different from every other lighthouse so far. Back on the 2nd Floor, when I received a message saying I had access to things. Any other lighthouse I bought doesn't do that.

This FUG group is all about anti-Jahad. They make slayers, who are basically gods to people to fulfill their wishes and stuff.

Blah blah this, blah blah that, it just goes on.

Jinsung Ha didn't seem to be coming back anytime soon still, so out of complete boredom, I'm going to be doing some spring cleaning of the inventory space.

It basically has everything I need, a home away from home. I mean it's basically a mansion.

Big flex because I'm so rich.

There's my master bedroom, other guest rooms, luxury bathrooms. There's a kitchen, a living room, a dining room... the list goes on.

In there, I store everything, from weapons to food. But it's not really organized, so it's a pain finding things. So why not clean it now, while I have time.

That took forever. I managed to organize it all, with easy access to obtaining everything. When I came out of the space, I saw Jinsung Ha. How long has it been?

"Uhh... where were you? I came back and you weren't there. Now you just suddenly appear out of nowhere." Oh that happens, I go into the space, making me look like I disappeared. When I reappear, it's like I'm coming out of nowhere.

I explained to him about the space thingy. He seemed impressed at it, I know it's so great.

He then told me that the FUG leaders want to make me a slayer applicant, and the positions of pre-slayers. How I needed to go up the tower to the middle floors, where he will test me. Along the way, I will be trained. Then I'll probably become a slayer if I meet the demands of the elders.

Meet their demands? I don't think so. 

"They must meet my demands, the 13 months weapons and crimson rings." I need them to open the doors, which is so annoying and stupid.

"Yeah, they will, once you become their slayer." Uhhhh, I feel like this will be a pain in the behind.

"But first, I want you to meet the other slayer candidate, Jue Viole Grace. He's on the lower floors though, so it will be easier to go to him.

I heard huffing like someone is training hard.

"Mr..... Jin...sung... Ha, I'm.... just...trai...ning.......like.... y....you....told......me....so..."

"Bam?" I called out. What is he doing with FUG? Shouldn't he be climbing the tower with everyone else

"Ms...Iris!" He shouted, running over to me. He hugged me tightly, a bit too much.

"I missed... you so much!" He looked bruised up. What are they even doing?

"I guess I missed you too, but what are you doing here, with FUG?" I questioned.

"It's... a long story...." Wow, sounds tough. He explained to me this long story.

"So what are you doing here?" He was no longer huffing and puffing. I explained to him my situation.

"So, what's Mr. Khun and everyone else doing?" He asked curiously, a look on his face like he really wanted those answers. 

Why does he have to mention that mop head ass face!

I haven't seen anyone from the test floors since climbing the tower. Must be ahead of them. Hah, In your face!

"Well, I haven't been in contact with any of them. Especially not ass face!" Uhhh just thinking about him makes me want to rip him to smithereens.

"Oh." Is all he said, sounding disappointed.

"Ok kids, Viole time to get back to training, and Iris, a team will be sent for you to climb the floors. All you have to do is sit back and let them do the work." I like the sound of that, them doing all the work but being on a team... doesn't sound pleasant.

"Bye! I hope I see you on the next floors!" Bam said excitedly, waving to me.

"Yea you too!" I replied. He's so innocent, I wonder how he's going to survive.
