Right now, Herta was lecturing Y/N by using the other dolls to pinch him all over his body

Y/N: WHY DO YOU DO THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!

Herta: You acted recklessly, fought the Doomsday beast and your own and got hurt. You're supposed to be the assistant director here

Y/N put his hands in front of his mouth, touched by her words

Y/N: So you do care!

Her eyes twitched, as she started to pinch him all over again

Y/N: OW!

Asta: I still don't know how he can handle this much without saying anything........

Herta: Bring me the little twerp here, Asta

Y/N: HER NAME IS STELLE AND SHE- OW WE SAID NOT THE EARS!

Asta: Yes!

Himeko keep watching the scene, drinking from her cup

Stelle: I heard Y/N wanted to see me

Y/N: Alright, don't worry Y/N, the worst that will happen is she ignoring you.......

Taking a deep breath, I walked to Herta's office, opening the doors

Dan Heng: Are you truly sure you want to go with us? Isn't it safer to stay here in the station?

Y/N: It is, but I've been working for Herta ever since I turned 12. I can't stay here for the rest of my life

Dan Heng: No matter the choice you take, we will support you Y/N

Y/N: Thanks......

We walked to the group, and see March and Stelle eating some bagels

March: You're back! How did it went?

Y/N: Terrible. She was furious

March: Damn

Stelle: We can put you in a suit case and take you with us

Y/N: I'm not a T-shirt, I won't fit

Stelle: ..........A big suit case

Y/N: I will try to convince her, but if she truly refuse to talk, I will go on my own

Dan Heng: Good luck, you will need it

They walked away, as I felt someone stare holes at me, and see a doll of Herta, staring at me

Y/N: I won't change my mind, no matter how harsh you yell

She shook her head, before walking away

Walking away, to the Express, I saw everyone was gathered, ready to go

Himeko: So you really decided to join?

March: Then let's not lose any second and departure!

We stopped, as I looked back, and see Herta, her hands on her hips, looking at me

Y/N: No matter what you say, I won't budge on my decision

Herta: Don't care

Narrator POV

Herta looked at Y/N's eyes, and see he was determined, even more, than when she first met him

She closed her eyes for a second, before remembering everything

Flashback

Herta: A kid here?

Scientist: Yes, he wish to meet you, for some odd reasons

A child walked inside the room, confident, with a huge smirk on his face

Y/N: Yo! My name is Y/N L/N, and I'm here to get the job as the assistant director!

Herta: A twerp like you want to be the assistant director? Go back playing with your actions figures

Y/N: If I impress you, will you think about it?

Herta: Oh? And how will you impress me?

Y/N: Easy! Let me show you!

He took a card from his pocket, ruffled it a bit, then crushed it, as he showed it proudly

Y/N: Ta-da! It's now crushed!

Y/N: Tough crowd huh? No matter! I will impress you!

And so, for the rest of the day, Y/N tried to impress Herta with magic tricks, stories, or some talents, but no can do, since she is a doll, she won't be impressed over such trivial things?

Herta: You're done wasting everyone's time? Go back to study, you're not worth my time

Y/N: J-Just one last!

He took a sort of orb, and some metal he was carrying in his bag, as he started to focus on it, pointing it's palm at it

Y/N: This one will surely impress you!

Herta: I told you to leave the offi-

She stopped talking, when she saw the orb moving a bit, but mostly, the look on his face

Y/N was giving such a determined look, as he was focused at 100% on his actions

Herta's eyes widened a bit, when she saw the orb and metal reacted, as soon, they merged to create a water orb, used on fire mostly

Y/N: I-I did it.........

He was shaking, before he started to jump around, cheering

Y/N: I DID IT! I DID IT ON MY OWN WITHOUT THE HELP OF ANYONE!

While jumping around, he stopped in front of Herta, smirking

Y/N: So, impressed huh?

Herta: That's the basis of a scientist job

Y/N: EH?! Oh no......

He looked down, saddened, before a hand was placed on his head, rubbing his hair

Herta: But you show great potential, and can become great. So, you better be ready

Looking at her, he saw she was smiling

Herta: Assistant Director

His eyes widened, as tears appeard in his eyes, before he nodded, happily

Flashback

She opened her eyes, and see Y/N with the same determined look

Herta: I never thought I would see an even more determined look on your face since that day

Y/N: Huh?

Herta: Come here

He blinked, confused, but he complained, and got near her

The next action, was something he never thought would happen

She embraced him in her arms, hugging him gently

Everyone was at shock at this, as she whispered something to him

Herta: Have a nice trip

His eyes widened even more, as tears threatened to fall from his eyes

She then let go of him, and nodded

Herta: Conquer the stars, Y/N

He nodded, smiling brightly at her

Y/N: Yes!

The Express was finally going off, as Herta stood there, watching it go away

Scientist: Director Herta, there are some more experiment for you

Herta: Put them on hold, I will do it later

Scientist: Undertstood

She was once again alone, as she smile softly

Herta: I'm going to miss that idiot
