Chapter 77: Push away

A week later, Jimin was changing into a long olive jacket with long pants under it and his usual timberlands he would use and think of Jungkook every time he wore it. Today, Taehyung and Jimin was going to travel around to historical landmarks to wrap up the final blog and get ready to publish it by tomorrow... However, Taehyung wasn't going to travel with Jimin so the older still had yet to receive the two travel tickets to Japan.

Taehyung stepped out of the bathroom with a big black coat, white   scarf, skinny jeans and white low shoes as always. The younger fixed his glasses on his face and picked up a camera to help Jimin with his blog for work. From now on, Taehyung was going to stay behind so he could be with Hoseok. Just last week, Taehyung couldn't tell if Yoongi was only teasing, but the older mentioned Hoseok was to blame about breaking up too. It wasn't just Yoongi. The younger felt he should ask his lover as soon as he was done helping Jimin out.

Taehyung slowly started to realize that Jimin was silent almost all week and his contact with Jungkook was quiet. He only wondered what was wrong with the couple that bounced between happiness and somewhat silence. But just with this thinking, Taehyung thought of an idea.

"Jimin, why don't you take Jungkook with you? It could be a cute date." Taehyung added. Trying not to think there was something up with their relationship.

"Can't... He said he wanted time on his own.. He wants to think about leaving with me or staying and I said take your time.. But I never said a whole week! This is ridiculous. I went to knock on the door and he would just say he's busy. Ugh, he told me what was wrong with him... And he thinks he should be locked up in there because of it." Jimin scowled and tossed his recorder onto the bed. "He stole my hat the other day.."

"Ah, Jimin what did he tell you? What was he hiding?" Taehyung wondered as Jimin thought of an easier and fast way to tell Taehyung so the boy wouldn't shut off his brain during it all.

"So... There was this boy named Yoon Jyunhu. Jungkook's friend. He wanted to leave and travel the world, but Jungkook didn't let him. So Jungkook abused him mentally until one day,  Jyunhu snapped and grew crazy as soon as Jungkook told him he didn't love him. He tried to fall off the balcony but Jungkook didn't let go. Which resulted in him wanting to betray Jungkook and that's what made him drop Jyunhu from the third floor and down to the rocky shores below. After that, Jungkook thought he was a killer and took his friend's identity out of guilt. Now everyone believes Jyunhu... Which is Jungkook,  is a creep in the third floor in a relationship with a ghost. Which they believe is Jungkook since he was the one that disappeared to everyone after. It's really confusing but it makes sense." Jimin claimed and took his Polaroid camera and recorder to go traveling to the landmarks.

"Oh, so the rumors are true?"

           "Somewhat."

"He isn't a killer... He defended himself." Taehyung stated but Jimin only shrugged.

"Jungkook is a very sensitive boy. He says he thought of many ways to prevent that as soon as he watched his friend fall and soon, he grew to have regret from that. I don't know... He wouldn't talk to me. I just hope he doesn't bail on me and ignores me until I leave forever."

"He won't. He's only thinking... Right?" Taehyung chuckled and placed his arm around his close friend to smile. "Besides.. We need to catch a subway to Beomeosa. It's an old urban temple." Taehyung added as Jimin gave him a sour glare.

"You make it seem like I've never lived in Busan before!" Jimin giggled as Taehyung smiled and patted his friend's back.

"Ah, I'm going to miss traveling with you. Such a funny little guy." Taehyung added as he picked up his own camera and walked over to the door.

"Then you should travel with me instead!" Jimin added so he wouldn't have to be alone for just in case Jungkook decides to break up and stay. By now, it didn't seem like Jimin believed Jungkook would follow. Just allow the pain to eat him alive.

"Love the idea, but I'm staying for Hoseok... Even if he still has a long way to go with me... I'll be sure to tell him no later than today. Let's get to the temple so we could get the job done." Taehyung added as Jimin followed along the boy. Down the lobby, Jimin caught the landlord just sitting behind the desk and writing another letter. Recently, that was all he was doing. He didn't want to travel up the stairs since he believed the rumors of a ghost being there... Which was no other than his deceased son, Jyunhu.

Jimin walked with Taehyung by his side while he looked down at his phone, still staring at the pictures of Jungkook he would take when the boy was sleeping or just walking with him a week back. It was Jungkook's first time out and Jimin could only look back at it and smile. For the longest, Jimin hasn't heard Jungkook sing to him, and he recorded his logs ever since. Some with upsetting logs and some just painting a picture of how Jimin felt within. So far, there was 83 logs.

In the subway, Jimin had enough of trying to sit and think of Jungkook. Jimin held Taehyung by his hand so the younger wouldn't get lost as he started to text Jungkook.

                        Good morning, Darling.

Jiminie💋: Oh you finally answer me!

                       Can't ignore you forever.

Jiminie💋: Ignore?

                      What are you doing in
                    Beomeosa with Taehyung?

Jiminie💋: Getting our blessings for marriage.

                                                    Jimin!

Jiminie💋: I'm kidding! You know I'm yours. But.. I want to know if you're going to stay. I need to know, Jungkookie.

Jiminie💋:Are you coming with me?

                         Jimin I don't know yet.

Jiminie💋:When will you ever? I've waited for so long (._.

                                You'll still be here
                            That's all that matters.

Jiminie💋: Jungkookie,
that's not fair I want to go far with you and take you with me.

Shouldn't this be said face to face or said
with the nice sound
of your voice?

Jiminie💋: I'm on the subway
right now.

   Then call me soon.
Don't text it to me.

Jimin stared at the texts and read it over in his head as he let out a sigh. It was the usual things Jungkook would say and this made Jimin just wish he could just march into that apartment room and drag Jungkook out of there no matter what. He was sick of this but he just knew, doing this would make Jungkook upset. At times, Jimin wanted to heal the wound.. But then he would want to speed up the process, deepening the scar so slowly.

It was no secret to Jungkook or Taehyung that Jimin loved to have others wrapped around his finger and force anything he wanted their way. Of course, Jimin only did this before when he wanted a relationship.

Taehyung stepped out of the subway with Jimin as they walked together to see the temple and start their short journey and catch a lot of sacred or historical landmarks of the day. Taehyung took pictures as Jimin took pictures on his Polaroid for the small adventures he would love to remember. Just like his recorder.

Taehyung spotted Beomeosa from afar, holding his camera and looking back at Jimin. "Come on! Let's get this over with so we could have time to walk around and reach more places." Taehyung claimed as Jimin held up a finger and decided to make a call. "Ugh Jimin, we don't have time!" Taehyung scowled and rushed up to Jimin and snatched his phone to give him a serious stare. "Focus!  You can talk to Jungkook when you're done for the day. Appreciate your surroundings and focus on the task at hand! You can't have any interruptions."

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Jimin wondered as Taehyung sighed and looked at Jimin with a concerned face now.

"So we'll get this done soon. Besides, you'll have time to convince Jungkook before Boss sends you the tickets for Japan. Give him a bit time and focus on your work. After, you can talk to Jungkook. Okay?" Taehyung assured. Showing Jimin that he shouldn't focus on the younger every single day to stress about leaving. Rather to save it for later on to talk it out.

The two took this adventure as a small little break from the rest of their social life. Jimin felt at ease not stressing over Jungkook and Taehyung felt the same way towards Hoseok. But as always, every good thing must come to an end. Jimin took a break from contacting Jungkook but this only left the younger to text Jimin frequently until he responded to his texts. Jungkook wasn't easy and Jimin knew it.

As soon as they returned to the lobby around 8:52pm, Taehyung started walking down the hall of the first floor to meet up with Hoseok and talk to his lover as always while Jimin checked in with the mail. The man walked over to the mail slots and inserted the key Taehyung allowed him to use since Jungkook still kept Jimin's key.

Jimin turned the key and opened the mail slot. Completely realizing Taehyung hasn't ever picked up a week's worth of mail! Jimin gazed at what seemed to be Twenty unread letters Taehyung didn't even bother to pick up.

"That kid.. I'll never let him handle the mail again.." Jimin whispered and looked through the mail to realize, the two plane tickets to Japan was just sent from his Boss in the morning. Which meant, Jimin no longer had more than a week to stay... More like a few days left in Busan.
