Chapter 62: With you

Taehyung didn't know what was happening. He didn't like that Yoongi was here but couldn't really understand how was he here exactly at the same time they arrived and at the same location they chose to meet up. Just a thought like this left Taehyung to realize that Hoseok must have invited his ex to join them at the festival. Something romantic for couples... Not for ex relationships or new friendships to hang out together like nothing stood between them.

"Hi, Tae-Tae!" Yoongi said with one of his cute smiles that made Hoseok shout happily at how cute this was. It seemed like Yoongi was able to play it off like this was nothing but the two knew very well how much they despised eachother.

"W-What are you doing here, Yoongi?" Taehyung managed to ask as Yoongi placed his arm around Hoseok and kept his smug smile that made Taehyung want to roll his eyes at the moment.

"Hope invited me to tag along and I couldn't say no!" Yoongi added as Taehyung's eyes widened and gazed at Hoseok for a moment. Baffled that Hoseok invited his ex, the one he claimed ruined him emotionally... Yet Taehyung was just as confused as anyone else on this...

"Hoseok... Can we talk?" Taehyung asked as Hoseok looked at Yoongi and then at the floor.

"O-Of course!" Hoseok added with a smile, masking away his slight fear from what Taehyung wanted to talk to Hoseok about. He knew what Taehyung longed to discuss. Taehyung stepped up to Hoseok and grabbed his hand to lead him away from Min Yoongi as he looked at the older.

"Hoseok... What were you thinking? I thought this was supposed to be about us tonight. Don't we... Love eachother? Shouldn't we be able to go out for once? Hoseok, I thought this was supposed to be about us..." Taehyung added, lowering his voice into a whisper while he felt Yoongi just pierce his gaze over at him.

"Taehyung... I just felt bad, okay? He's very lonely and... He told me what's between the two of you. I never knew you two didn't get along. I should've been able to see that! But... I just want you two to get along. I'll make up for today soon! I promise, Taehyung!" Hoseok added. Taehyung could pick up at how sorry Hoseok felt deep down and only let out an exhale, looking back at Yoongi who was giving him the stare Hoseok warned about before. The younger then looked at Hoseok and nodded his head.

"Then I guess this isn't a date. Just us coming together to hang out..." Taehyung added.

"I'll make it up to you. My 'Husband' deserves time with me~" Hoseok chuckled and patted Taehyung's back. "Don't worry... I'm yours." Promised the older and made Taehyung smile and nod his head happily.

"C-Can we... Hold hands together during the first snowfall?" Taehyung asked as Hoseok smiled again. Enough to catch Yoongi's attention.

"Of course we can!" Hoseok said slightly louder and laughed at how loud he answered out of excitement. Just then the two looked at eachother and laughed at their reactions. Meanwhile, Yoongi just stood from afar and only wondered what the two could be laughing about. He kept staring at the two. Feeling left out as he kept in his silence.

As soon as Hoseok and Taehyung returned, Yoongi looked at how close the two were on their way to the park where the festival was held. As the night sky dimmed, the lights along the park lit up. Yoongi walked behind the two feeling regret about coming out to the festival with Hoseok. He just wished there was a spot next to Hoseok where he could hold Hoseok's hand again like before. He took Hoseok for granted and all he could do was watch the man walk up to another and make him smile just as much as Hoseok did for Yoongi when they were a couple.

Hoseok then made sure to stop as Taehyung kept walking and only stopped to check on why Hoseok slowed down. Yoongi was just behind them and Hoseok didn't want the older to feel left out at all. Of course, this was no longer a date with Taehyung, this was a day the two could hang out and become friends since Hoseok did not like their feud one bit.

Yoongi walked up and finally caught up with the two as Hoseok was in the middle, between the two and talking to them both in order to make them become friends. Hoseok only did this so Yoongi wouldn't feel left out. Yoongi was lonely without a friend and even through the pain he caused upon Hoseok after so long, Hoseok looked back at how the older was there for him when Taehyung was ignoring him. Hoseok didn't want to let him back in, but how couldn't he? Yoongi displayed how much regret he had before and was willing to accept a friend title to stay in Hoseok's life. Even if at the end Hoseok was going to stay with Taehyung because with Taehyung, Hoseok felt happy. He felt like he could start anew and not have to worry about anything else from now on.

At the moment, Jimin was laying back on the bench right by the docks as he let out a sigh. He didn't want to spend this snowfall alone again... He wanted Jungkook to be by his side and make him smile and laugh. Just by gazing around the people nearby laughing and smiling at their lovers, Jimin grew deprived of needing someone right by his side. He looked up in silence and knew this was going to be torture by just sitting out in the cold and hugging the small hot packet between his small hands. Hoping to get warm through it all. Jimin sighed and he could see a cloud of his breath caught up in the cold.

However, Jungkook was still in his apartment. Wearing a beanie over his black silk hair, a long black turtleneck sweater and a white puffy jacket with black jeans and Timberlands too. Jungkook was just looking out the window to the sea where he let out a sigh, resting his head over the palms of his hand. Not seeming to be In a rush to meet up with Jimin.

"The first snowfall... You'd always talk about this.. Do you remember? You wait for me... But I choose to stay indoors. Who am I to leave? I can't get myself to do it... Not even for you." Jungkook added as he looked down the sea. "Do you miss me...? At times I miss you.. But then I hate you." Jungkook whispered as he took off his beanie. "I don't want to go out..." Jungkook added as he let out a sigh. "I'm going to stay... Even if I should go."

Jungkook kept looking out to the sea. Not even thinking about what Jimin would feel over this. He wanted to think Jimin wasn't so excited about this... But, Jimin really was. This made Jungkook feel guilty and have second thoughts of going.

"Maybe I should... Or shouldn't... Ah, I can't choose!" Jungkook added and rubbed the temples of his head. "Why can't you make this easier for me like before..? Always there to soothe out the issues... But now I'm just waiting here for a miracle." Jungkook added and let out another sigh.

The boy could imagine Park Jimin's smile and excitement about the first snowfall. How he held a big smile on his face by just explaining it... And the thought of that smile fading made Jungkook feel like a horrible friend. "Why am I like this?" Jungkook whispered and looked at the ocean. "And... You're still here after what I've done to you... Before.." Jungkook whispered and continued to think about Jimin. If he didn't go, Jimin would feel hurt, alone and wouldn't want to see Jungkook for letting him down. Yet the younger's fear just hit him across his face and made him grow scared about walking down there.

Jungkook took out his phone and began to text Jimin as he repeatedly erased the message, typed again, but then erased it like he hesitated. Just then, Jungkook started to tear up as he finally thought on what to type.

Jimin still sat on the bench, huffing into his hands and looking around and staring at each lantern right by a random couple. "He's not here... I'll leave soon. Once the first snowfall starts... It'll get too cold for me." Jimin said to himself while he cupped his mouth. Suddenly, he recieved a text from Jungkook that made Jimin glance at his phone from the notifications on his lock screen.

Jimin didn't even bother to unlock his phone to read it as he just sat there, slightly tearing up as he cupped his own chubby cheeks and looked out to the sea. Now wanting to see the first snowfall on his own and not care about catching a cold.

"He... Won't show up... I should've known he would be like this. Why did I have my hopes up?!" Jimin sobbed to himself and cupped his face and teared up. Feeling the cold gust of wind against his cold body. Jimin didn't care if he was going to freeze to death. He was too upset to move now...

Soon, Jimin was still there. Looking at the ground, wiping away his cold tears from his face. He was ready to leave when suddenly, he felt someone drop a warm blanket over his shoulders that made the man stay still for a while as he warmed up. Just then he felt a hug and a gentle kiss on his cheek while he was held close.

The scent of rich cologne, the soft, cloud like lips against his cold cheek was familiar as he looked back to see who was there... And to his surprise, Jungkook was finally holding him close and keeping him warm for the night.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Jiminie~" Jungkook whispered to Jimin's ear and still held him close. "I'll keep you warm..." Jungkook added and made Jimin wipe his own tears to hug the younger back tightly. Glad he was able to have Jungkook close like this. Just then, snow began to fall from the sky as Jimin's eyes widened and blushed to still have Jungkook hug him this close as the snow fell from the night sky. Showing the first snowfall of the season.

            "Jungkook.. S-Snow-"

"Shh... I know..." Jungkook assured as Jimin looked up at the beautiful snowfall. The older then felt Jungkook softly kiss his lips gently, holding him close into the kiss and pulled away after to look at Jimin in the eyes and hold Jimin's hands softly intertwined with his. While they shared a golden moment by looking at each other with just love starting to gleam in their eyes, Jungkook leaned in to whisper into Jimin's ear softly, "I love you, Park Jimin.."
