Chapter 32: Closer than before

Jungkook was silent while he looked down to see Jimin there in his arms, dancing with the man. He couldn't explain what he felt but he kept his hold on Jimin's waist, softly moving his thumb along Jimin's gentle waist. The boy was whipped by the whole feeling and could only look into Jimin's gleaming eyes like this was a new feeling to him.

Jimin kept his arms locked around Jungkook. He wanted to kiss the boy for the first time but then he realized that just thinking of kissing Jungkook was bad enough. Jimin was slowly wanting to force Jungkook into the relationship on his own with so much flirting and of course, a kiss. But Jimin stopped himself before actually doing it. He just couldn't do this to the clueless boy. Not when Jungkook didn't know what to do with a relationship and how to treat another.

However, this didn't stop Jimin from looking into Jungkook's eyes like love was glistening between them. Jimin started to fall for the boy, he knew this was going to eventually happen with the way he kept flirting with Jungkook and the way he would ask him for kisses. Jimin only longed for Jungkook to realize Jimin's feelings for the boy. Jimin knew there was a possibility of him ending up heartbroken, but he longed to wait until he can confess soon in hopes of something sparking between them. But just not now.

Jimin slowly leaned in to rest his head on Jungkook's shoulder as he closed his eyes and made a slight smile where Jungkook was still gazing down at Jimin. He knew Jimin was really clingy to him, almost as if he knew Jimin was in love with him. This made the boy slightly nervous and want to pull away. He desperately looked for an excuse but he couldn't bring it in him to pull Jimin away. while Jungkook slowed down on the dancing to stop, he still kept his hands down on Jimin's waist. Touching him and moving his hands up and down slightly to rub the sides of the man's waist.

"Jimi-" suddenly the lights went off and this made the two flinch. "Fuck.." Jungkook hissed under his breath as Jimin opened his eyes and kept holding Jungkook close.

"The power is off.." Jimin whispered but the music kept going through Jungkook's phone.

"I can see that. Ah, if only the skies weren't so grey so we could at least have some light to cook. But the power is off so I guess we'll have to wait until we have it back." Jungkook assured, quickly letting go of Jimin's waist as as an excuse to stop dancing, but Jimin still held onto Jungkook as if he was too scared to face the dark.

"S-Surely you have some lanterns around here, right?" Jimin giggled nervously as Jungkook looked at Jimin's gleaming eyes in the dark. The lightning then flashed, causing Jimin to quickly lean in to Jungkook and hold him close and tightly.

"Are you... Afraid of the dark?" Jungkook asked as Jimin nodded his head slightly as Jungkook started to chuckle. "Oh Jimin! Why are you such a baby? You sleep in the dark almost everyday!"

"Jungkook! I have my roommate in the same room as me and, your voice always seems to calm me down and help me sleep faster." Jimin stated, watching Jungkook try to pull Jimin away as the music still played in the background.

"Oh that's okay. You'll live. I'll protect you, Jimin." Jungkook chuckled as he finally pulled Jimin's hands away but he was able to hold the older's hands gently. "Guess we won't cook now... Would you like take out instead?" Jungkook wondered as Jimin nodded quickly. Suddenly, lightning lit up the room again, causing Jimin to quickly move in and hug Jungkook tightly. Not wanting to let go due to the fear he had.

"O-Of course!" Jimin giggled making Jungkook smile at how easily Jimin was scared. The older was hugging Jungkook close now, not caring about how close he was to the younger. He still thought this was a little romantic to him.

"I hope you don't mind if I use your address for delivery, they don't really like the third floor... No one does." Jungkook mentioned as Jimin nodded, changing the address so they can deliver there.

Jimin still had Jungkook by the hand as he looked around in pure darkness. "How did you use to order before like this?" Jimin wondered as Jungkook chuckled and started ordering the meals.

"I would have them delivered to just the second floor but I'd be waiting by the stairs." Said Jungkook as Jimin looked over at Jungkook ordering the things.

"How will we watch a movie now? Should we watch it through my laptop?" Jimin asked as Jungkook nodded happily.

"Of course! It'll still work like that." Jungkook commented. While Jimin pointed out the things he wanted too while Jungkook chose them for Jimin. To Jungkook, this seemed like a tight friendship they had together, but to Jimin, he loved the way they were growing close to each other. Making him embrace his feelings for Jungkook now.

At the moment, Taehyung was sitting on Hoseok's bed as he looked around in the dark. He managed to stay longer at Hoseok's apartment but since the lights went off, he didn't know what to do at the room. Hoseok was in the bathroom getting ready for practice with a lantern on so he can see. The only reason why Taehyung was still there because, Hoseok refused to let the younger go. He wanted Taehyung to be by his side all the time and even thought of taking the boy with him to practice. This was why he didn't let Taehyung go.

Hoseok then stepped out of his bathroom, holding the lantern as Taehyung looked up at the older who was wearing a long black sweatpants, dark blue and white sleeved sweater, white running shoes and a black hat over his head. The older man looked at Taehyung and set the lantern down with a smile. "Are you coming with me today?"

"You really want me to go with you to practice? Am I even allowed there?" Taehyung asked as he stood up to face Hoseok.

"Of course you are! Many other trainees bring friends over to support them. And I would love to have someone there for me.. I don't like getting stares from my ex and it bothers me... So why don't you come with me? My lovely 'Husband'?" Hoseok laughed as Taehyung began to think on the question. "The power is out at the apartment... So it'll be a while until the lights cut back on... a-and you don't have work today! So... Why don't we go together? You'll have fun!" Hoseok begged.

Taehyung then smiled and nodded. "You were there for me when I need to cheer up so why not? I bet I can make that ex of yours jealous~" Taehyung joked as he placed his arm around Hoseok and turned his head to look at him with a sly look in his face.

"I would actually like to see that! How about you give me a kiss?" Hoseok joked as Taehyung laughed and moved his head away. "Ah, I'm joking! But I have to warn you, my ex can get really.... Jealous to the point where he would give you this look that'll make you extremely uncomfortable." Hoseok warned as he squinted his eyed and placed his hands on his hips and tipped his head in to Taehyung. Looking as if he was mimicking an old man.

"You were dating... An elderly man?" Taehyung asked as his eyes blew wide. Making Hoseok stop and let out a laugh, shaking his head in denial.

"No! That's how my ex acted. His name is Min Yoongi. But, he prefers to go by Agust D. But don't call him that. Yoongi is fine." Hoseok chuckled as he looked for his practice bag to take in bottles of water and granola bars.

"What did he do to you? You know... That caused the two of you to separate... if you don't mind me asking?" Taehyung wondered nervously, as he thought he should have saved that question to ask later on when the time was right. "T-Too soon?"

"O-Oh of course not! Why would you think that? Haha, well.. Let's see." Hoseok added as he tried to distract himself from it. "He told me... He didn't have time to mess around with me and his career mattered more than a relationship his parents won't accept." Hoseok mentioned, placing in his water bottle into the bag for practice. "But that's fine... I didn't let that affect my dance.. I focused on dancing and now I'm at the top of my class. Even If his stares deprive me of motivation to do anything.. I still find a way to smile through it all!" Hoseok concluded turning back to face Taehyung with the most brightest smile...yet, even Taehyung knew there was tears under that gleeful mask.

"I'm sorry for asking... But if he loved you, he would have learned to appreciate you and make time for you." Taehyung added as Hoseok nodded.

"You're right... But sadly I didn't know anything about that. Guess I should have been smarter... But enough of this sob story! Let's get going before I'm late and get a punishment from the group captain. Last time I was late, I had to perform a difficult dance in front of the company staff!" Hoseok chuckled as Taehyung smiled and followed after Hoseok out of the room.

What Taehyung never knew was that Hoseok hid his stress and pain from the world under his smile. Longing to make others smile too in case they were upset or having a bad day like him. This made Taehyung feel a bit bad for Hoseok who had to see the one who broke his heart everyday at practice.. The younger could relate to what Hoseok felt and made sure he was going to support the older at practice to cheer him up. Just like the way Hoseok cheered Taehyung up the day before.
