Chapter 21: His Origins
"So what are you doing here? How can I help you so we can get to the coffee shop?" Hoseok said with a smile, noticing that they we're holding hands for far too long and he had to break the awkwardness.
Taehyung quickly moved his hand away and smiled again to cover up the awkward moment they shared. But only laughed it off. It seemed as if he was having a much better day now that he met the Trainee. "Ah, I was looking for a recorder for recording audios." Taehyung claimed as Hoseok nodded and signalled him to follow as he walked off to go find Taehyung a recorder.
"Need to record audios for interviews?" Hoseok wondered as Taehyung shook his head in response to Hoseok's question as they walked down the camcorder aisle.
"You see... I have this best friend name Park Jimin. He was the one who needed to interview you but he's busy. He also lost his recorder and started to panic... And I felt really bad he lost it so I went to buy him another. He uses it for his daily logs on how it feels to be back here in Busan. He does that for every place he goes to. If he goes abroad, he records daily logs on his adventures so he can play it back like a story is being read to him and he can see it in his mind too." Taehyung informed the older Trainee as Hoseok stopped in front of the recorder section.
"Park Jimin.. I think I met him before. He so happened to move into the apartments by the Sea where there is rumors on a ghost that lived there by the their floor.." Hoseok mentioned as Taehyung started to get a recorder from the top shelf. "I live there so I hear the rumors mostly everyday."
"I'm Park Jimin's roommate there. He says he went to the third floor and met a boy there. A young man that seems to be two years younger. From how he describes him, he seems like he must be prince charming in the flesh." Taehyung claimed and finally reached the recorder.
"What boy? There Is no one living up there. There are rumors of a boy who committed suicide around last year. He was a lonely boy... Lived in solitude and would cry himself to sleep at night. It's a sad story." Hoseok claimed and Taehyung then stopped and took a moment.
"G-Go on.."
"Well. No one knew his name of course. But he lived at the apartment and he was such a charming boy. Although, no one saw the signs of him being so lonely within. He was very awkward but would always serenade people to sleep through the vents. He would do this for each person on the second floor. It was him showing his handsome and respectful personality. He truly was a prince..." Hoseok then sighed.
"But then one day... He was tired. He sang to everyone and was there for them.. But no one was there for him when he needed someone the most. The boy would sing about the sea. How one day he'll walk to the Sea and never come back. But no one caught it as a final song of goodbye. That boy then disappeared the next day. He was rumored to have thrown himself off the balcony of the third floor. Finally meeting with the sea and letting his soul get washed away by the salty yet peaceful waves of the ocean."
"Do you... Know how the third floor was abandoned?" Taehyung wondered as Hoseok was able to respond.
"Since his disappearance, everyone hasn't been sung to for some time.. But then one day the people of the third floor heard his voice. They grew scared and ran away. Each fleeing from their rooms and moving out. Yet... Leaving one room that was always locked. That was his room. Rumor has it... The ghost is like a siren now. Sings to you and by there you're under his spell. He manipulates you to see what you want to see. But in reality, there's no one there but you looking like an idiot." Hoseok then chuckled.
"I understand. Maybe the boy Jimin hangs out with is someone different. Everyone saw him one day at the lobby when he accidentally bumped into Jimin and shattered the vase." Taehyung claimed as Hoseok nodded afterwards.
"Oh, well just be careful there. I live in the first floor so I can't really tell what goes on up there. But what I can say is.." Hoseok then placed his hands on Taehyung's shoulders and pulled him close. "Come closer... I need to tell you a secret that might change your life right now.." Hoseok added in a serious tone as Taehyung leaned in, holding the recorder box closer to his chest now.
"Yes..?" Taehyung responded in a whisper. Getting worried now.
Hoseok then tapped on the recorder box gently while he cleared his throat against Taehyung's ear. Sounding like an ASMR that Taehyung was weirdly attracted to. "Taehyung..." Hoseok whispered as he can tell that the younger was already nervous from the curiosity that rose in his blood. "Recorders are 50% off this week.... I'll go ring you up at the cash register.." Hoseok whispered.
Taehyung then let out a chuckle as he pulled away and nodded. So far, he enjoyed talking to the man even if the interview didn't start yet.

Jimin held up a movie he longed to watch with Jungkook. "This one!" Jimin announced as he held the movie in his hands. This movie was called, 'A Man and a Woman' where one man that has a family of his own, one daughter and wife. Another woman from her own family that consisted of her only son that is diagnosed with Autism and the father of the child too. The woman and man meet one day and eventually end up doing something they regret for one night. But this alone only draws them further into the addiction to keep going behind everyone's back no matter what. That is until.. Someone breaks.
"I haven't seen this movie, but Taehyung has! He told me it's a beautiful movie." Jimin stated, unaware that this movie actually showed the erotic scenes.
"What movie is it?" Jungkook wondered. Holding his hand out to the movie but Jimin only held it close to his chest and smiled.
"A man and a woman! You don't have to see the cover to know it's romance~" Jimin giggled as Jungkook still held out his hand.
"I want to see it before you put it on." Jungkook said as Jimin passed the DVD cover over.
"Oh I like it. Seems romantic. Let's see it." Jungkook added. The two very oblivious to the fact that this had erotic scenes in it. Not daring to check the trailer out first. Jimin watched Jungkook stand up and walk over to the DVD player under his TV and next to the PlayStation, Xbox and other game systems that left Jimin amazed.
"You have a lot of gaming systems..." Jimin pointed out as Jungkook nodded and turned on the TV with the remote and crouched down to put in the disc.
"There's another gaming system in my room. It's the Nintendo switch and my PC Is in my room too. Since I'm a beta game tester. I have to review the games. They sent me the consoles too." Jungkook mentioned as he looked up at the screen and pressed the movie menu. "Do you want anything to eat? Drink? Need pillows? A blanket?" Jungkook asked. Wanting Jimin to feel comfortable.
"Popcorn would be nice or any other snacks you got here." Jimin mentioned as Jungkook nodded and stood up to walk over to the kitchen and take out snacks he would eat when he's playing video games.
Jungkook sighed and looked back at the screen. "I'm not one to watch sad and romantic love stories... It's boring." Jungkook added in a growl silently. So far he didn't like this at all and would rather be playing video games instead. "But... Jimin's here... I like Jimin's company and it means a lot to me.. So I will make it my main priority to give Jimin all of my attention to make my new friend happy!" Jungkook stated in his mind as he can look back and see Jimin going through his own phone and waiting for the younger so they can watch the movie together like any other close friends would do.
So far, Jungkook considered the two as closer friends. Only because Jimin was his only friend, he wanted the best for Jimin since the older meant a lot to Jungkook's life now.
