37|| Just The Beginning

I stood next to Miya, Haruhi and Ana at the altar.

Kaoru and I stealing glances at each other. I look down, smiling.

I hear squeals and look up to see Ageha and Ota walking side by side down the aisle. Ageha in a light pink dress, holding a basket of flowers and grabbing a handful before sprinkling it onto the red carpet. Beside her Ota in a tuxedo, holding a satin pillow with the brides and grooms rings on it.

They're so cute.

I grin when they finally reach the altar and Ageha briskly walks toward me with pink cheeks.

"Good job." I say, stroking her cheek.

As she smiles, the organs play and every body stands up.

I look to my left to see Ranka grinning, eyes glistening.

I'm so happy.

My mother reached the altar and after saying their I do's, they kiss and I clap and cheer.

"Woo!" I grin and my eyes meet Kaoru's. I take a step to side and hid behind Miya.

Every one follows them out and all the women, and some of Ranka's transvestite friends, stood at the bottom of the stairs, waiting for her to throw the bouquet.

"Ready?!" My mother yells, turning around.

"YES!"

"Three, two, one!" She throws the bouquet and suddenly, someone flies out from the crowd of women and catches the bouquet.

Oh my god.

"Tamaki?" Ana gasped from beside me and starts laughing as he walks toward her, hair disheveled and tie crooked.

"See you later sweetheart!" My mother crushes me into a hug and I hug her back.

"Bye." My eyes become hot as I hug her back.

"Aww don't cry!" She says as tears poured out of her eyes. "Thank you." She kisses my forehead and I nod, wiping my tears. She smiles and turns to Ageha and Ota.

"Bye!" I wave as she gets into the car with the biggest smile I've ever seen.

Once the car was gone I felt a warmth on my left hand. I look down at my hands, fingers intertwined with familiar looking fingers. I look up and then down again.

"Hm?"

I look up again and he smirks. He holds up a rainbow rose with his free hand.

"Oh!" I gasp and reach out for the rose when suddenly he leans in and kisses my fingers. "Wha-!" I pull my hand away and jump away from him, but he keeps a firm grip on my hand.

"Ew." I hear someone say and we both turn around to see Miya and Hikaru giving us stink faces. "Get a room." Miya throws something toward us and Kaoru catches it, letting go of my hand.

I peek from behind him.

Huh?

His ears visibly turn redder and redder as Miya and Hikaru laugh. He then throws it at Hikaru's face.

"Ow!"

"You two are disgusting!" He pouts and grabs my hand.

"Kaoru? Where are we going?" I ask looking back at Miya who was grinning.

"Um... Let's go there." I follow his gaze.

"The park? Wearing this?" I look at my dress then up at him.

He just smiles and when we reach the park, he sat down under a tree.

"Kaoru! You'll get your tux dirty!" I say grabbing his arm to pull him.

"Meh." He shrugs as I let go of his arm and pats the spot next to him.

"But... The dress..." I say and he grabs my hand, pulling me down onto his lap.

"There." He breathes into my ear. "Now the dress won't get dirty." I jump away.

"I-It's fine!" I sit next to him and stare down at the ground, picking at the grass.

"For you." He holds the rose up.

Is he going to kiss me again?

I snatch the rose from him.

"Damn." He laughs and looks at me.

I jump up and clear my throat. "So-"

"You look beautiful." He says and I look up.

"Me too..." I say and he tilts his head. "...I-I mean you too! Y-You look beautiful too." I say and he nods with a knowing smile. "So... Why are we here?"

"It's almost the end of the story... We have to end it somewhere. I thought that this place would be perfect." He says and my shoulders slump.

"I hate endings." I pout and he turns to look at me.

"Hey..."

I look up to meet his smiling eyes.

"I love you."

I shrink back and hide my face with the rose.

"You said that before." I mumble.

"And i'm going to say it again... I love you." He says and I purse my lips. "I will love you to the moon and back."

"What a cheesy ending." I narrow my eyes away and hear him chuckle.

Kaoru moves my hand aside and looks at my face.

"W-What?" I blink several times and his face moves closer to mine. "Hmph-!" His lips cover mine and I feel as if i'm melting.

He pulls away and looks at me lovingly.

"Endings are just the beginning."

Ahh sorry I didn't update in ages. I didn't know how to end the story. Now that To The Moon & Back is finished, I'll be taking a really break guys. Not really a break but, i'll still be writing but I will not publish the chapters until the whole story is finished. I really don't want to rush it anymore.

I'm a senior this year and school starts in two weeks for me. I've really got to focus now. Please understand.

And yeah, weird ending. I might edit that later... Next year.
