I set the cups down on the table and a plate of leftover cake.

What does Miya mean?

I ponder as I sat in between Haruhi and Honey.

Is she saying that Kaoru likes me?

I blush and stare down at my crossed legs.

I look at Kaoru who was playing on his DS with Ageha, Ota and Hikaru.

"So you guys are going to the Lady Gaga concert tomorrow right?" Miya says

"Oh uh. Yeah." I nod.

She slaps Kaoru's leg and his head snaps up.

"What?"

"Concert with Luna tomorrow...?" She says, giving him a look.

"O-Oh. Y-Yeah." He nods.

"What time?" Ana asks.

"Oh w-what time should we meet up? The concert starts at 5pm." He looks at me and I felt the blood rush to my head.

"U-Um... F-Four?" I say and his eyes widen.

"O-Oh... Okay..."

"Do you guys like to watch anime?!" Ageha asks.

"YES!" Miya jumps up. "Oh yeah! There's a convention happening in two weeks! Do you go to any of them?" Miya asks me.

"Mhm. I love them." I say and she squeals.

"We should go!" She sits next to me.

"O-Okay." I chuckle.

"Do you cosplay?!"

"Yeah. Ageha makes the costumes for me." I look at Ageha and Miya's eyes sparkle.

I giggle as I watch Miya crawl over to Ageha.

I turn around and see Kaoru's eyes on me.

"Uh-" I was cut off by the sound of the front door opening.

I turn around and my mother walks in.

"Ama!"

She looks up and her eyes widen.

"O-Oh!" Her cheeks turn a slight pink.

"Ama!" Ageha and Ota run to her and hug her.

"H-Hello." She ruffles their hair and looks back up.

I stand up and take the bags in her hand. "Um everyone... This is my mother."

They all nod and smile. "Nice to meet you!" Honey grins.

"Nice to meet you." My mother bows a little and they all do the same. "Which one is Kaoru?" She blurts out.

"A-Ama!" I blush.

They all point to Kaoru and Kaoru slowly raises his hand.

"Ohhh!" My mother squeals. "So you are Yuzuha's son?!" She says and he nods.

No way...

I blink several times.

"Woahh! You are all gorgeous!" My mother claps.

They all smile.

"Do you want to see baby photos of Luna?!" My mother excitedly runs to her room.

"A-Ama no!" Flustered and embarrassed, I run after her and hear them giggling behind me.

I see her grab a photo album.

"Ama!"

She grabs my hand and pulls me back to the living room.

"It's about time she made some friends!" My mother sits down and pulls me down with her.

"A-A-A-" I felt like hiding as soon as she opens up the album.

"Ahaha! This one was when she first tried lemon!"

My mother points to a picture of me holding a lemon and making a funny face.

"How adorable!" Tamaki squeals.

I look away but then make eye contact with Kaoru. He smiles and I quickly look away.

My heart is pounding. Do I like Kaoru? Hahahah no way! It's only been a week since we met!

"Oh! Kako told me you were going to the concert tomorrow!" My mother looks up at Kaoru and my head snaps up.

"Oh. Yeah." Kaoru nods.

"Is it a date?" My mother asks. Miya, Hikaru and Ana snicker.

"Ahahah! You are one funny woman Mrs. Luna's mother." Tamaki says with sweat rolling down from his forehead.

"Oh! How rude of me! What're your names?" My mother asks.

"Tamaki Suoh!" Tamaki puffs his chest out proudly.

"Ohhh! Do you have a girlfriend?" My mother asks.

I face palm.

"Yup!" Tamaki throws an arm over Ana's shoulder.

"Oh how cute!"

I space out whilst my mother fan girls.

"Onee-chan! Play with us!" Ageha and Ota give me my DS.

"Kao-chan!" Ageha grabs Kaoru and pulls him to me.

"U-Um... What should we play?" He asks.

"Mario Kart!" Ota and Ageha high five.

"S-Sure." I force a smile and turn on my DS.

I was known for raging when playing Mario Kart... What are they doing?

"AGH!" I ball my hands into fists when Kaoru zooms past me.

"I win! Again!" He fist pumps the air.

I glare at him. He gives me the peace sign and a grin.

My face softened and I stared at him.

That was cut- Wha?!

I shake my head.

"Kao-chan..." Ota says. Kaoru looks up at him and smiles.

"Do you love onee-chan?!" Ageha asks and we both jump up.

"A-Ageha!"

"U-Uh..." Kaoru looks around awkwardly.

"Well?" Ageha and Ota grin.

"You guys!"

"Um I do l-" Before he could even finish Kyoya stands up.

"Well. We're gonna have to go now."

"Nawww." Honey, Miya, Ana, Hikaru and Tamaki whine.

"Already?" I look out the window and notice it was dark. "That was quick."

"I guess we do. My dad would be worried." Haruhi stands up and they all follow.

"It was so nice meeting you all. Thank you for coming." My mother smiles.

I give a small bow.

"T-Thanks guys." I stand back up and they smile.

"Can we come next week?" Honey asks, looking up at my mother. "I really like that cookie you made."

My mother squeals in delight. "Of course you can!" She hugs him.

Ugh... Not again.

I sigh and smile.

"Bye Luna!" Every one gives me a hug as they exit, excluding Kaoru.

Kaoru was last and I look down.

"U-Um... Thank you for coming today." I bow and hear him chuckle.

I stand back up and he smiles. My heart skipped a beat. "It was fun."

I smile awkwardly and then purse my lips.

"Um..."

Suddenly, I feel a tug on the sleeve of my shirt and Kaoru pulls me in for a hug.

My heart was beating so fast he could probably even hear it!

But it wasn't just my heart that I could feel pounding... It was his.

Why doesn't my heart beat like this around everyone else but I get so flustered around Kaoru?

With my head against his chest, I listened to his heart beat. His arms around me, as if protecting me. My whole body felt hot and my heart was fluttering.

If just a simple hug from him could make me feel this way... Imagine a kiss...

My face became hotter at the thought.

He pulls away and ruffles my hair.

"See you tomorrow, Kako." He smiles.

"Y-Y-Yeah." I nod and watch as he walks down the stairs.

My eyes widen and I place a hand on my chest.

What are you doing to me, Kaoru?
