09|| New Boy?!

I take a step forward and gasp.

"Woah..."

It really is gorgeous and... Pink.

I smile as I take in my surrounding.

I then stop walking and the corners of my lips tug down.

Wait a minute...

"W-W... Oh no..." I face palm and quickly duck behind a building. "Man..." I sigh and slide down onto the ground.

Ageha only saw the boys' uniform! The girls' are different!

"No wonder!" I slap my forehead.

No wonder Irie thought I was a boy.

I groan and lean my head back against the wall.

"Tsk. Well... The boys' uniform looks better anyway." I sigh. "Nothing I can do about it now." I stand up and pat my pants. I peek my head out and look around. All the girls and boys seemed to be distracted by something.

I see a huge crowd gathered around near a fountain and I step out from behind the bushes.

"Shhh." I tell myself as I briskly walk into the building. "Phew." I let out a relieved sigh and wipe my forehead. "I wonder what they were all gathered around for?" I mumble as I start walking to try and find the office.

There weren't many people around.

Maybe it was that thing outside...

I shrug it off and see the office up ahead.

After getting my schedule I walk around a little, exploring the beautiful school.

"This place really is beautiful." I smile to myself.

I then hear some giggling and cackling. I turn around cautiously and see a group of boys and girls smirking as they give me a nasty look.

"Murgh." I snarl and turn around.

"Hey!" I feel someone grab my collar and pull me back.

"Woah!"

"What did you say?!" A brunette boy with boring brown eyes throws me against the wall.

No. Not here. Not again. I just wanted to start over.

"I-I didn't say anything." I cower back.

"Then what was with the face huh?!" He prods my gut.

"I-I wasn't-"

"Just look at what he's wearing!" A girl cackles.

He?

"We don't need another commoner here." He pokes my forehead hard, making me hit my head back against the wall.

"HEY! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" I hear a familiar voice roar.

"Shit. It's Miya!" The boy lets go of me and scurries off with his friends.

"Oy!"

Miya... It's Miya.

I keep my head down.

"You okay?" She places a hand on my shoulder.

I nod and shake her hand off.

"'Scuse me." I run past her and bump into someone.

"Woah! You okay?" I look up to see Kaoru. "Hey..." His eyes widen and I quickly run past him.

I find the library and quickly go all the way to the back. I crouch down and cry.

Why here? I just wanted to start a new life. A life without bullying.

The bell suddenly rings and I quickly stand up. I wipe my tears with my sleeve and using the map, I find my way to the class.

How should I avoid them?

I hope they're not in my class.

I look up at the sign and sigh.

I'm getting nervous now.

I bite my bottom lip and look down at my clothes. I gulp and ruffle my hair before nervously knocking and opening the door.

"Hello." The teacher greets with a smile.

"Um... I'm new here." I blink a few times and force a smile.

"Oh! A new boy?! Welcome!" Her grin grows wider.

Boy... Is it because of what i'm wearing... Oh...

I suddenly remember something.

It's my short hair.

"Would you like to introduce yourself?" She gestures for me to come toward her and I gulp as I reluctantly walk to her.

"N-Not really." I mumble.

"Aww! Well it's your first day so, I won't push you." She smiles. "My name is Ms. Kokoro."

The corners of my lip tug up.

"You can sit anywhere you like... Well..." She looks around and the only free spot was next to...

"Him..." I mumble.

"Hm? You know him?" She asks and I shake my head.

"N-N-No!"

She chuckles and points to the seat on the right of Kaoru. "You can sit next to Hikaru."

"Kaoru..." I blurt out and the whole class looks at me. "I-I mean..."

"How'd you know?" A girl asks.

"Um..." I look down,

"Okay okay. Next to Kaoru." Ms. Kokoro pushes me gently and I slowly walk over to Kaoru.

I feel all eyes on me.

I place my bag down and sit down.

"All right class now-"

Feeling eyes on me, I zone out and stare at my table.

This has got to be my unlucky day. Gah. I thought it was gonna be a good one too.

I sigh and rest my head on the desk.

Still feeling eyes on me I slowly turn my head.

Kaoru was peering at me and he smiles when he notices me staring back.

I quickly look away and feel my eye twitch.

The same class as him.

"Tsk." I click my tongue.

This is gonna be a long day.

I've been trying to avoid them all day long.

There were so many close calls.

I knew they were looking for me.

Ugh.

I walked around the school and sighed again.

Today's my day off from work. Maybe I can stay a little longer and study?

Making up my mind. I start walking to the library.

"Ahaha!" I hear a group laugh and look up to see the same group of people that harassed me in the morning. "Hey! Look who it is!" The familiar boy from earlier grins wickedly as he starts walking towards me.

Oh please no.

I frantically look around and start running down the hallway.

"Get back here!"

I find a room and try to open it, but the door was locked.

Crap.

I rush to the next room and the door was locked too.

"There!" The boy takes the turn and starts running toward me.

I run again and take a turn.

I turn the first door handle I see.

SLAM!

I slam the door shut and pant as I lean against the door. I hear their footsteps pass and I let out a relieved breath.

"Oh. It's the new boy." A familiar voice says.

No way...

I slowly turn around and there they were.

"Welcome~!"

The Ouran high school host club.
