Today's the day I start at Ouran.

I'm so nervous... What if I get bullied for being an ordinary person? Would Ana-senpai and the others sit with me at lunch?

Thoughts run through my head as I step out of the shower and dry myself.

"Onee-chan~!" Ageha and Ota run into the bathroom.

"H-Hey!"I cover my body with the towel.

"You start today don't you?!" Ota jumps up in excitement.

"Yeah..." I say as I grab another towel and dry my hair.

"Are you nervous?!? Excited?!" Ageha shakes my other arm.

"Er... Both." I step out of the bathroom, Ageha and Ota following behind.

"You can't drop us off huh?" Ageha looks up at me.

"No. I have to by train from now on." I smile wryly as they pout.

"Boo." Ageha and Ota run to the kitchen.

I let out a deep breath and open my drawer.

I don't have a uniform so maybe I should wear something similar?

"Ama!" I call out.

"Yes?!" My mother answers from the kitchen.

"What colour is the Ouran uniform?!"

"Blue on top and black on bottom! I think!"

I sigh and rummage through my clothes.

But what kind of blue?

"Ageha!"

"Yes onee-chan?!" Ageha's baby voice answers.

"Come here!"

I hear her footsteps coming towards me. "Have you seen how the Ouran uniform looks like?"

"I've seen two boys wear it before!"

"Which blue colour were they wearing?"

"Hmm... It was a cornflower blue with a bit of blue-grey... Purple..." She mumbles as she goes through my clothes. "The closest you have to their colour is this!" She holds up my crop top and I snatch it off of her.

"Ageha!"

She laughs.

Yes, I still wear a crop top, unfortunately, I am one of those girls who have an almost flat chest.

"I'm kidding! Here!" She holds up a purple-blue long sleeved top.

"Ohhh..."

"Put this on and..." She takes out black jeans. "This."

"Thanks." I ruffle her hair and she skips to the kitchen with a grin.

I quickly put the clothes Ageha picked out for me on and sit at the table.

I carefully place the wig on my head.

"Kako?" My mum walks in.

"Luna." I correct, my eyes still on the wig.

"Luna you can't use that."

I freeze and turn around. "What?"

"The school said only natural hair colours."

Ana-senpai goes to Ouran and she has pink hair... Maybe it's natural? Is she a foreigner? Well she does look a little bit foreign.

"But... Why can't you just say this is natural?" I pout.

"Because no body is born with rainbow hair sweetheart." She chuckles.

"But... Ama you know that this wig makes me confident!" My vision blurred.

"Oh darling..." She hugs me. "Maybe it's time... you be yourself..."

"But... This is me..." I look down and my shoulders slump.

"Just for school? No one will know." She smiles wryly.

"Well... The people that I met go there and..."

"Oh... Well if they are true friends they'd accept you, right? Besides... I think you look beautiful even without the wig on." She grins.

"O-Okay..." I hug her and nuzzle my head into her hair.

"Kako~! I put some strawberry clouds into your bag!" My mum sings as I ruffle my hair and scrunch up my nose.

"Luna. Thanks Ama." I grab the bag Jasmine gave to me and the headphones Akira gave to me.

"This cake is great." My mum says as she takes a bite of the cake from yesterday.

"Right?" I force a smile.

"We want some strawberry clouds onee-chan!" Ageha and Ota whine.

"Hey! I have some here!" My mum holds up the packet.

"Yay!"

"Well... Gotta go." I walk over to the door, they follow behind.

"Good luck." My mum smiles.

"Good luck onee-chan!" Ageha and Ota hug my legs.

"Thanks." I give them all a kiss on the cheek and take a deep breath as I open the door.

I'm so excited and also so nervous.

I put my headphones on and plug it into my super old nokia. I select 'Circle of Life'

I know, not a song people would listen to every day but I love it. I could keep it on repeat for ever.

'From the day we arrive on the planet

And blinking, step into the sun'

I look up at sun and smile.

It's warm today.

I see the moon faintly in the sky.

'There's far too much to take in here

But the sun rolling high

Through the sapphire sky

I start bopping my head and singing along.

My cheeks flush red from happiness.

'Till we find our place

I then see a man sitting on the side of the road up ahead. I rummage through my pockets and find a few spare coins. I cup them in my hand and walk up to him.

He looks up at me and I smile as I crouch down in front of him and place the coins in his hand.

"Thank you so much." He smiles and nods his head.

"Any time!" I wave and skip down the road.

This might be a good day after all.

I reach the station and my stomach starts to churn. I take out the train pass the school mailed to me.

The train arrives exactly as I come down to the platform and I run in.

"Oh god."

It was so full.

I feel people still pushing in.

"Eek!" I get pushed onto someone and clung onto them.

"Woah there! Are you alright?" I look up and see a high school boy, about my age, smile down at me.

"Uh!" I try to jump off of him but more people push into the train and I lift my hand up to avoid wrapping my arms around him.

"S-sorry!" I felt my cheeks flush as he chuckles.

"No worries."

He was pretty cute to be honest.

"Ouran academy?" He looks at me and I nod. "Oh. That's too bad. I go to the public school." He smiles.

"O-Oh."

"You're pretty small for a guy." He chuckles and I blink.

Guy?

"I-I'm a female." I avert my eyes away from him.

"O-Oh! I'm sorry!" His eyes widen and he smiles wryly.

"I-It's okay." We both chuckle.

"If you go to Ouran Academy, why do you ride a train?" He asks.

"Uh... I got a scholarship."

"Oh! You must be pretty smart!" He smiles.

"N-No... I'm not that smart..." I look down.

"So modest." He grins. "Oh! Our stop is next." He winks.

"O-Okay..."

He takes my hand and pulls me out of the train.

I pull my hand away from his and bow. "Thank you!"

"You're welcome! What's your name?" He tilts his head.

"L-Luna Kisaki..."

"Hm... Irie Mikado." He holds his hand out.

"Nice to meet you."

Irie shows me the way to the Academy.

"Thank you again!" I bow deeply.

"No worries! See ya!" He waves and I wave back.

I smile and turn around.

"Well..."

Ouran Academy.
