"Uhm..." I gulp.

"Hello~!" Miya stands next to me and waves at them.

"Huh?" Toni tilts her head. "The more the merrier I guess." She smirks.

"Onee-chan what are you...?" Ota and Ageha follow my gaze and frown.

"Hey! Not you guys again!" Ageha furrows her brow.

"What guys?" The rest of them stand behind me.

"W-What...?" Sofia takes a step back.

"They're cute..." Tammy bites her bottom lip.

"They're the girls that we found bashing onee-chan once!" Ota says and they all gasp.

"Luna..." Kaoru looks at me and I snarl.

Who does he think he is? Calling me by my name.

"No they're uh..." I look down.

"Oh no! T-That wasn't us! Right girls?" Toni looks at her group and they nod obediently. "Luna?" She looks at me.

"Um..."

"Don't onee-chan!" Ageha crosses her arms.

"I-..."

"It doesn't matter anyways! Onee-chan is moving schools! So you can go away now before I say a bad word!" Ota puffs his chest out.

"Yeah!" Ageha follows.

"Oh yeah? Bad word? Like what?" Toni crosses her arms and smirks.

Ageha and Ota cautiously look up at me and I cross my arms and arch a brow.

"You don't know any bad words." I say sternly and they both pout.

"Y-You...!" Ageha stutters.

"Butt face!!!!" Ota sticks his tongue out.

"Hey! Hey!" Miya holds her hand out and steps in front of us. "I know nasty bit-" Hikaru covers her mouth.

"There are children here." He warns and she bites his hand.

"Go away." Mori towers over them.

"B-B-Back off before I call my boyfriend! You better watch it! He's in a gang!" Lea holds her phone out.

"I dare you." Honey says as a dark aura surrounds him.

What the...?!

"L-Let's just go! You better watch it Kisaki!" Toni says before she turns around and tries to run with her heels.

"Are you okay?" Kaoru places a hand on my shoulder and I shake it off.

"Y-Yeah..."

"Are you okay onee-chan?!"Ageha and Ota look up at me worriedly.

"I'm fine."

"Okay! All good! Let's go!" As we start walking I feel someone's eyes on me and I look up to see Kaoru staring at my hair.

"W-What?" I ask and he blinks.

"Huh... Oh uh... Is that your real hair?" He asks as he stands next to Ageha.

"Y-Yes..." I lie.

"N-" Ota opens his mouth and I clap my hand over it. "Itfs nuts realf."

"Aha!" I give a wry smile and give Ota a semi-glare.

"Won't that damage your hair?" He asks.

"N-No... It's natural dye." I say and he nods understandingly.

"Yay!" Ageha, Honey and Ota cheer as we reach the festival.

"Did you guys know that there are going to be fireworks tonight?" Ageha says and they all shake their heads.

I quickly lock my bike on the side of the road and follow after them.

"Well there will be! A big one too! At midnight! Boom boom!" Ota laughs.

I chuckle. "We can't stay out that late Ota." I smile wryly and his shoulders slump.

"Well why not? There's no school tomorrow." Tamaki says.

"Yeah. Have fun." Ana smiles.

"Well... I can't... My mother would be worried." I say and Miya flinches.

"Yeah... You shouldn't stay out too late. " Miya says and I stare at her.

(Is it just me or do they all have mummy problems? Besides Luna...)

"Thanks." I smile and she gives me a smile before shrugging and turning around.

"Can we watch it at home onee-chan?" Ageha asks.

"Sure."

"We'll drop you off." Kaoru offers.

"Oh no... I have my bike here so..."

"We can put it in the trunk." Kaoru shrugs.

"No offence but... I don't really know you guys..." I look down.

"U-Uh... S-Sorry..." Kaoru apologises and I purse my lips.

"It's fine."

"Oh yeah! Your brother and sister said that you're moving schools. Where?" Hikaru asks.

"Uh. I got a scholarship to Ouran Academy." I say and their heads snap towards me.

"OURAN?!" They scream.

"U-Uh-"

"That's great!! We go to Ouran too!" Miya claps.

"O-Oh..."

No... That means...

I turn my head to Kaoru and he grins.

"That's... Nice..." I force a smile.

"Yes!" Miya jumps onto Kaoru. "Your girlfriend's coming to our school!"

My face boils up and I see Kaoru's face visibly turning red.

"S-Shut up!"

I turn around and scrunch up my nose.

Well aren't I lucky...

"Tch." I pout.

"There are more people here today." Ana says to herself.

"The fireworks." I say.

"Oh yeah! I love fireworks." She giggles.

She's really pretty.

"Do you go Ouran...?" I ask.

"Yup. I go to Ouran. I'm actually really excited about having another girl in our group." She smiles.

"Your... Group?" I blink.

"Yeah. You know, us." She looks at them all and I stare at them.

They're all smiling and having a good time.

"We're friends, right?" She pats my head.

"Heh. I guess. You remind me of a big sister." I blurt out.

"Really? I guess I kind of am the big sister in the group." She chuckles. "I'm guessing that you're going to be a first year?" She tilts her head.

"Yeah." I nod.

"Good. The twins, Miya and Haruhi are all first years."

"The twins you mean... Kaoru too?"

"Uh huh." She giggles. "So why did you decide to change schools near the end of the year?" She asks.

"Well..."

Because I'm sick and tired of getting bullied...

Can't say that.

Because I want get a good education so that I can provide for my family and go to the moon?

No.

"I just... Thought it'd be nice..." I shrug.

"Oh..." She narrows her eyes away. "So those girls... Were they bullying you?" She asks and I look down.

"N-Not really..."

She raises a brow as if saying 'I know you're lying'

"Yeah..." I look away.

"Is it a daily thing?"

"Yeah..." I nod

"Hm... Don't worry!" She pats my back. "I'll make sure it won't happen again!" She grins.

"How?"

"I'll send someone to escort you home after work tomorrow!"

"R-Really?!" I clap my hands together.

"Really!"

"Oh! Thank you senpai!" I hug her and hear her chuckle.

"Just Ana is fine." I pull away and she smiles sweetly.

"Okay..." I smile.

"What time do you start work?" She asks as she takes her phone out.

She stares at it, tapping the screen that wasn't even on.

"Uh... I'm not good with phones..." She smiles wryly.

"I'll type it for you." She hands me the phone and I go to her notes.

I don't have a great phone but i've seen girls in my school use these kinds of iPhones in class.

"Here." I give it back and she looks at it for a moment before turning it off and putting it in her dress pocket. "So is Tamaki-senpai your boyfriend?" I ask and her cheeks redden.

"Y-Yeah..." She smiles.

"That's cute." I giggle.

She gives me a knowing smile.

- A few hours later -

Whilst we were walking around everyone suddenly disappeared and it was now just me, Ota, Ageha and... Kaoru.

I shiver at the thought.

I watch Ageha and Ota with a smile on my face as they run around from stall to stall.

"They're on a sugar rush..." I shake my head.

"Luna..." Kaoru mumbles and I flinch.

"W-Hm?" I turn to face him.

"Oh no... I just thought it was a nice name." He smiles. "There aren't many names beginning with L in Japan y'know."

I look away. "W-Well... My real name isn't Luna..."

"Oh?"

"It's actually Kako but... It's kind of a boring name so..." I shrug.

He stares at me for a moment before bursting out laughing.

"W-What?" I frown.

"It-It fits you so well!" He calms down and grins. "Summer rainbow..."

Jerk.

I huff and turn around.

"I like it..." He whispers into my ears.

"Eek!" I push him away. "Don't do that!"

"What? I'm just saying! It's a nice name! It starts with K too! Like mine!"

"Now I don't like it even more."

He chuckles.

"I like you!" He throws an arm over my shoulder.

L-L-L-Like?!

"Eh?!" I shake his arm off. "I said stop that!"

I cross my arms and feel his eyes on me.

"W-What time is it?" I look at him from the corner of my eyes.

"Uh... Nine-"

"Nine?!" I slap my forehead and frantically look around for Ageha and Ota.

"Why are you in a hurry, we can drop you off."

"Like I said... I still don't really know you! We just met today!" I see Ageha and Ota at the goldfish stand and run over to them. "Ageha! Ota! Let's go!"

"But onee-chan-"

I pick them both up and slung them over my shoulder.

"Kako!" I hear Kaoru's voice behind me.

"Luna!" I correct.

"I'll walk you to the entrance!"

I stop and turn around. "Fine."

We walk to the gates, Ageha and Ota whining as they clung onto me.

Mother must be worried.

"We almost got the fish onee-chan!" Ota cries out.

"Ota! Even if you did catch it, you wouldn't be able go look after it! We don't have everything it needs to survive! The food, the tank, the use of water, i'm sorry we can't afford that! Stop being so selfish!" I snap and glare at him.

He lets go of me and stares down at the ground.

I huff and push Ageha off of me.

Kaoru watches quietly and looks down when I make eye contact with him.

I continue walking ahead and wait at the front gate for them.

"K-Luna." I look up and see Kaoru holding Ageha and Ota's hands.

"Let's go." I unlock my bike and get on.

"How will you ride? There's only one."

"We always do." I sigh. "Come on."

"Ageha and Ota want to come with me. I'll drop them off." He says.

"No. You won't. Ageha, Ota, come on." I say and they clung onto him. "I won't let them go with you. We hardly even know you. Can you just let them go." I start to feel irritated and grit my teeth.

"We want to onee-chan." Ageha says and my heart drops.

I get off the bike and take them off of Kaoru. I crouch down in front of them and look at them.

"I'm sorry..." My lips quivered. "I didn't mean to... It's hard... We don't have the money... I just don't want anything to happen to you guys, okay? When we get to know Kao-chan more... You can go with him, alright? Let's not fight over some goldfish." I smile wryly.

Tears spill out of their eyes and they throw their arms around me. "We're sorry

onee-chan! We should've thought about it first! You work so hard for us! We're sorry!"

"It's fine." I pat their backs. "Let's go?" I gesture to the bike and they nod.

I stand up and look at Kaoru. I give him a smile and his cheeks redden. "See you at school!" I wave and his eyes widen.

I get on the bike with Ageha in front and Ota at the back.

Well... I guess I can try to get along with him... for Ageha and Ota... I think.
