one night i

dreamed

of a place in the

sky

an island

that floated on top of

cumulus clouds

and never suffered

from the rain

wisteria

trailed from cliffs'

edges

and winding vines

grew across fallen

trees

magic filled the air

with a vibrant, tangible

glow

every movement seemed

to spark

wildly

burning golden in the

starlight

rivers wound their

way

moving slowly over

rocks and hills

feeding into the

sea

at the island's

edges

that poured down

into the sky below

but seemed to

disappear

as soon as it

hit

the tops of the

clouds

one night i

dreamed

of a place in the

sky

and i knew that

once i reached it

i would find

peace

so i searched

for that place

within the hearts

of others

one had chambers

of ivory and marble

gleaming like

polished bone

another held

a vast

expanse

of grasses

blowing gently

in the wind

and another held

an endless sky

that seemed to be

perpetually

glittering

as stars

flickered

in and out of

view

and the moon

waned from

full to crescent

right before your

eyes

then i met you.

and i held your

hand

and saw

neverland

shining, just as it

had been

in my dream

atop the

clouds

under the

starlight

and i knew that

i had

found it.
