while we're

frantically

sending out

radio transmissions

while the ground

is crumbling

beneath our feet

and our orderly

suburban lives

have gone to

pot

they're for the

brief minutes

that feel

like the

beginning

time

the cracks, the

glitches

in the

matrix

that are only visible

just before the

dawn

while the

earth

is silent

and there is only

peace

and simple belonging

dreams are for the
