Lila POV

Uh, This is gonna take us forever.

I look around and see how this Chloe seems so happy and how she seems to be singing to something.

"Wait, if we're the only ones that are still alive then why is there even a song on the radio playing?" This might be our chance to leave these losers that might not last long and go with some people that can actually help us.

"Oh that's just Nino playing us some of his sick beats. When he's bored and done with his chores he makes some beats and sometimes he even sings to them rapping to be exact." The Alya girl said smiling and singing her head to the music.

"You know, it's good to keep up the mood to let everyone else know that it's gonna be okay" Chloe turned to look at me for a little, smiling to reassure me before turning back to the road.

"Chloe's right you know, that might be the reason why I'm always calm and positive" The girl Rose said threw the communicator.

I for one didn't even think it was possible for such technology to exist in the first place. I might as well be the only normal person one here.

"And also, we might not be the only survivors out here there might be more people alive out there. Somewhere around the globe... And we found you guys, that's a start. " Alya said looking out the window.

"If you don't mind me asking how did you all survive for so long" I looked at Alya waiting for an answer but she stayed silent for a while before answering the question. I couldn't even hear anyone else threw the communicator. Is it that they had to kill people to stay alive? Did they sacrifice there friends for survival?

A few seconds later Alya answered calmly, not taking her eyes of road. "It took a lot of team effort and hard work but we managed. We had to work extra hard and look out for each other. A-and..." but she struggled to say the last part. She closed her eyes and took a deep breathe trying to calm herself down.

"It was a bumpy road to were we all started, but the important thing is that there're all still alive. We all went threw a lot to make it this far, but we can't change the past. What happens-happens we can't change the past." Marinette said threw the communicator.

Wow, they must have been through a lot to be saying something so wisdom-like. I feel a 7 year old just sitting on the carpet and hearing a old guy say things like lessons in life and what he's been through that was really hard on him.

I always thought that was a big lie and that he only said that to make us not do things that we'll regret when we're older. I see how wrong I was, but I guess it only took me until a apocalypse to happen for me to figure it all out. I wish I could go back in time right this second and till him that i'm sorry for all that I have said that hurt him. I just wish life could give us all a second chance to talk to our parents, guardians, siblings, and elderly that just wanted to help us in life. I regret every word I said that hurt him, that caused he's heart to have a attack and for us to never see him again.

I still remember that face he showed me the time I said 'You must be lying, your brother never sprayed paint on your eyes and you didn't see things your parents and other people couldn't see. I bet you never even played soccer as a golly before.'

I admit I was a selfish and stupid little bitch back then. I bet i'm still like that, heck I might be even worse with all that's going on. But i still don't want to be here with those strangers.

What if this was just a setup to make us food because they had no meat? Or worse, experiment on us to find a cure and have us do to many bad stuff like finding a way to multiply zombies without getting bitten?!

As we entered another road I saw another road leading away from Paris. The sign says United states just three days from where you are at. This might be our only chance to escape, but Adrian and Felix are on the other truck.

Since they follow and help their friends, then I guess they'll follow us as we enter a new road. It's risky but it might just work.

I looked to my left and saw Chloe focused on the road to even notice how close we are at the next stop. I took this as my opportunity and took the weal.

"What are you doing!" Alya shouted in shock holding on to here seat as the truck began to turn in circles.

"Let go your gonna make us crash!" Chloe started to scream as we began to head near the end of the road where the sides where broken and dried blood was all over the end of it.

"WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING!" Marinette said threw the communicator.

All I could remember is crashing into a tree that had bird nests on it and was covered in vines and grass along with drops of dry blood that looked like someone dropped a bucket of paint.

Adrian's POV

"NOO!," Marinette shouted as she jumped of the truck to go see if they where okay. It didn't look to good, I had to take the weal so we don't crash ourselves. Felix also jumped out threw the back and ran up to the little truck.

Right before they could even look inside to see if they where okay the car made a noise and backed up. As it turned to face us I could see Chloe with the seat-belt on but blood dripping from her forehead. She must of hit her head on the weal pretty badly, but doesn't look like it would damage her brain.

You could also see Alya with the seat-belt on but looked unconscious by the airbag that held as a pillow for her. But at the back you could barely see anything as it was dark in there. But what I didn't like was that Lila was the one driving, the front glass was broken and the truck was damaged but looked like it could continue running.

"Lila what are you doing!" I got out of the truck I was in and ran up to where Mari and Felix where at. Lila looked like she took the biggest hit, her head was badly damaged as blood was running down her head and her hands where all covered in blood that was dripping and getting all over her clothes that was still the Valpina costume except for the mask.

She must have not worn her seat-belt or held on to something around the truck. Her hand was on the weal while her other hand was holding on to Alya's seat to hold her balance.

No One POV

"Is everyone alright in there!" Marinette yelled out loud enough for Lila and the rest of them to hear.

As Lila turned around to see what was happening in the back she saw that Gorilla was holding everyone in his harms making sure they weren't hurt badly and protecting them from any damage that might of happened by the things around them.

Lila had a choice, to be honest and tell them the truth accepting her punishment as to harming others around her or escaping and possibly ruining a good friendship that's barely beginning.

"Lila calmly get out of the truck and come to us so we could help you, you could tell us what happened." Adrian reassured her taking a few steps closer to the truck.

Lila knew what he was doing and wasn't that stupid as to think that she alone will fall for something like that. She thought that he would betray her, that everything left in this world would betray her.

Marinette just thought that Lila hit her head to hard and might of damaged her head bad enough to make her lose focus on what the real situation is.

What is she doing? Marinette thought as she saw Lila scoot over to the drivers seat and shoved Chloe to the other side.

Lila then started moving in reverse and turned the truck over to face the other road that had the sign that said 'United States 3 days trip'.

Marinette didn't have time to think as She almost got ran over by the truck. Adrian shoved her over but he ended up getting hurt instead.

"Adrian!!"

Also I was thinking about deleting this book a few times but since there are readers out there who like reading my book I decided to continue this story for those who want to know what happens next.
