Chapter 4
Sting was enjoying himself, having his lips against yours and touching your waist.
That is, until Laxus joined the party.
A bolt of lightning rained down from the sky toward Sting. However, sensing the attack, the Sabertooth wizard jumped back, dodging the attack.
Irritated, Sting looked behind you to see who interrupted him. He smirked when he saw it was Laxus.
"Oh, it's the not-so-real Lightning Dragon." He taunted.
"Get away from her." Laxus growled, lightning sparking off of his body. "And don't ever come near her."
"Why? Didn't you guys break up seven years ago?"
"That ain't got nothin' to do with you."
"Maybe not, but it sounds to me like you're bein' a clingy ex. Girls don't really like that."
"Well, at least I know (Y/N) doesn't like you."
"She liked that kiss."
This made something inside of Laxus snap. "Why, you-"
"ENOUGH!" You shouted, making the two boys look at you. You turned toward Laxus, walking in that direction. "Let's go." You mumbled the order.
Laxus glared at Sting for a few more seconds before turning around and following you and Phoebe to the bar.
Sting watched your retreating form with interest before turning around and walking off in the opposite direction.
The Sun Bar was now in sight which relieved you. Now, you could drink the memories of the past twenty minutes away.
"(Y/N)." You stopped in front of the bar, turning around to see Laxus staring at you with a serious expression.
"What?" You asked.
"Can I talk to you? Alone?"
Phoebe took this as her cue to go inside the bar. Once she was gone, you decided to talk first.
"What is it, Laxus?"
The blond took a deep breath before closing the distance between you two and pressing his lips against yours.
You hummed in approval, causing Laxus to wrap his arms around your waist. Sure, you were surprised, but you haven't kissed Laxus in seven years.
You missed this feeling.
Wanting more, you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He groaned in response.
After a while of making out, you both needed air. Laxus pulled his lips away from yours, but left his face within centimeters of yours. You both were breathing heavy, trying to even your breathing.
"Don't ever let anyone kiss you like that." He said sternly. "Especially, that cocky Sabertooth wizard."
"I didn't expect him to kiss me." You defended yourself.
"I don't care." Laxus growled, moving his head and shoving his face in your chest. "I never wanna see anyone kiss you. You're mine."
Your cheeks turned red at his declaration, but his words were not completely true.
"Laxus, you know I'm not officially yours." You mumbled. "We're still on a break."
You felt Laxus tense up in your arms.
"I know." He said, "I was trying to wait. At least, until after Fairy Tail won the Grand Magic Games. But after seeing you kiss someone else, someone from Sabertooth, I can't hold back anymore."
"S-So, what are you saying?" You stuttered, your cheeks turning darker.
Laxus lifted his head from your chest and stared into your (e/c) eyes.
"Be my girlfriend again." He smiled.
Your heart swelled with warmth and happiness. You grinned as you nodded your head rapidly. "Yes!" You answered.
Laxus chuckled before kissing you again.
Finally, after seven years, you and Laxus were together again.
Grand Magic Games Day 2
The next morning, you and Laxus walked to Fairy Tail B's balcony hand-in-hand.
Last night, you guys announced that you two were dating again. The entire guild replied with, "ABOUT TIME!"
Once you arrived at the balcony, you stood in front while Laxus stood behind you, letting go of your hand and wrapping his arms around your waist.
"I never expected Laxus to be into PDA." Mira giggled.
"Me either." Gajeel grunted, "And it's kinda gross."
Laxus glared at Gajeel before turning his attention back to you.
You knew why Laxus was being so affectionate in public. He wanted to show Sting that you were his and no one else's.
And you were fine with that.
"Hello, everyone, and welcome to the second day of the Grand Magic Games!" The announcer exclaimed.
The second day went better than the first. Both Fairy Tail teams were actually earning points.
You got to see Sting participate. Even if he was motion sick the entire time.
If he was trying to impress you, it wasn't working.
As a matter of fact, Sabertooth got zero points for the day which you thought was ironic.
So much for being a true Dragon Slayer. You mentally rolled your eyes.
"You should accompany me to a nap." Laxus suggested, resting his head on your shoulder.
"Someone's desperate." Gajeel snickered.
"Gajeel . . ." Juvia sighed, knowing her friend shouldn't have said that.
Laxus growled before glaring at the Iron Dragon Slayer. Then a smirk appeared on his face, "Hey, Metalhead, I wouldn't be talkin' if I were you. You look a little rusty. When was the last time you hooked up? The Stone Age?"
Gajeel's cheeks turned red instantly. "Wh-What the heck are you talkin' about?" He shouted, though he didn't have to shout. "I am not rusty! You hear me, Lightning Rod! I AM NOT RUSTY!"
"Then why are you blushing?" Mira spoke up, smiling at Gajeel. "Like you're guilty."
"B-Because it's hot in here, that's why!" Gajeel stuttered, abruptly leaving.
"Was that really necessary?" You asked your boyfriend, sighing.
"Definitely." He smirked. He pulled away from you and then held out his hand, "Let's go for a walk."
The two of you walked through Crocus with your hands intertwined. You asked Laxus what he did while he was expelled, and he told you that he just went from town to town, helping in any way he could.
He said he always thought of you, which is good because you always thought of him.
And it's only natural; you've been together since you were sixteen.
"Oh?" A voice from behind you said. "What's this?"
You recognized the voice and confirmed it by sniffing the air. Stopping, you looked over your shoulder and saw Sting.
Wondering why you stopped, Laxus stopped as well. Then he noticed Sting.
Laxus immediately took action, moving in front of you protectivly, letting go of your hand.
"So, you two are back together?" Sting asked with a bored expression.
"That's right." Laxus growled, "Now, scram!"
"Tch, whatever." Sting glared. "Date a wannabe if you wanna." He turned his back to you, waved, and walked away.
"Tch, that little brat." Laxus growled.
You placed a hand of Laxus' back. He stopped growling and turned to look at you. "Sorry." He mumbled.
You shook your head. "Don't apologize." You said, "It's fine."
You and Laxus continued to walk for another ten minutes before you both went to Fairy Tail's Inn for a make out session in the B team's room.
The rest of the guild was, of course, partying at the Sun Bar, so it was just you and Laxus in the room.
But you didn't take things further. You two only made out, which you were okay with.
And Laxus was, surprisingly, okay with it too.
Your heart was overflowing with immense joy. During the span of 48 hours, you and Laxus finally got back together and you've already had two make out sessions.
You've waited seven years for this. Your only wish would be if your life could stay like this forever.
But of course, it can't. Why? Because your life is about to become complicated.
