Chapter 8.5: HAPPY CANADA DAY!

HAPPY CANADA DAY! 🇨🇦
DUE TO ME FEELING SUPER HAPPY AND GOING TO MY COTTAGE TO SWIM WITH MY FAMILY, I DECIDED TO WRITE A ONESHOT!
This is not in the actual story line, it's kind of like a separate story (If it was in the main storyline, it would be after the third book).
I don't know myself what's going to happen with these two and Canada, but right now their relationship is platonic (just friends). Once I realize and get my stupid multishipper brain to choose one ship, I'll come back and clarify this.

"Kaz, are vvvvvou coming?" Soviet asked, tugging at his collar. He was uncomfortable, and his patience was wearing thin. The Commie wearing a suit that was given to him from Ukraine for his birthday, but no one actually thought he would wear it. Speaking of which, why was The Soviet Union wearing a suit, when on a normal day he would be wearing his old jacket and black boots?
The answer was simple...
... Simple if the Retired Country would actually admit it out loud.
It was Canada's Birthday, and he and Kazakhstan would be taking him somewhere as a present. The place they were going was somewhere the two Russian's found when Soviet was trying to teach Kazakhstan to control his wings. It was a sweet little spot, and once they cleaned it up, they decided to show Canada because they both really liked him (One country had no problem admitting it, the other would have to be forced to).
Kaz walked down the stairs of his household, moving his gold wings around so they were comfortable with the suit he was wearing. It was custom made for him, with little slits in the back so they wouldn't be stuck in his suit. Soviet could have just done the slits with a knife, but his son wanted to look nice.
"Иә! барайық!" (Yes! Let's go!) The country with wings yelled with enthusiasm, opening the door and walking out. "Bye," Soviet said to his children, closing the door behind him. The two nicely dressed Countries got into Soviet's truck, and they left to Britain's household. Canada was moving into America's household to secretly help with the States, but he wasn't actually moving until next week, so taking him outside would be a huge stress relief.
The Russian's pulled into Britain's household, and the two got out. Their emotions were the complete opposites of each other though; Kazakhstan was happy he would see Canada and was trying not to fly into the air out of excitement, and Soviet just didn't want to talk to Britain, because the short posh man still didn't completely approve of his son talking to them, even after all they had been through.
Kazakhstan happily knocked on the door, then stood back so he was beside his father. The door opened after a few seconds. Thankfully it wasn't Britain, but it wasn't Canada either. "Oi! Haiii mates! 'Ang on just a minute," Australia greeted, before turning his back to yell into the house. "Oi! 'Nada! Golden' Wings an' Union-Union are 'ere for yeee!" He told his brother, accent so thick it was nearly impossible for the Russian's to understand, but Kaz got the Union-Union part, and he had to stiff a laugh. It was hard not to laugh because his father side-eyed him with confusion clear as day in his brown orb.
"Hang on Aussie!" A loud Canadian yelled, causing the people at the door to shutter. Canada being loud? Was that even a thing? Apparently it was, because the Canadian had just yelled the loudest he ever had in the Russans' presence. About twenty awkward seconds later, Canada came down the stairs and walked over to the door. He was wearing a suit himself, but it looked like he was made for that thing. Guess that was a perk of having Britain for a father.
"Hi Kaz! Hey Soviet! Y-You both look n-nice," The Canadian stuttered when he noticed how good looking his accomplices were. He blushed a light shade of pink when he realized it was for him. "Happy Birthday 'Nada!" Kaz yelled in English, throwing himself at his friend. Canada hugged back, and they stayed like that for a moment before letting go. "Aussie, please remember to take Percilla out of the bathroom before Dad goes in and has a heart attack," Canada told his brother, with Aussie saying he would, but not before winking and walking away, naturally going to do the exact opposite of what he was told to do.
France walked to her son and kissed his cheek before sending him on his way.
They got back into Soviet's truck, and left the residence. Kazakhstan turned around from his spot in the passengers seat to Canada who sat in the back seat. They chatted about all the cool things Canada got for his birthday, before Polite Country asked Soviet where they were going. "Sszurprizzze," USSR said, turning a corner. Canada only got more excited, and if the Retired Country looked through his rearview mirror he would probably die out of Canada's cuteness. He made the mistake of already doing that, and was desperately trying to control his face temperature.
The birthday boy and the one with gold wings talked some more, when they fell quiet all of a sudden. Kazakhstan looked almost petrified, and Canada was three seconds from deadpanning. Soviet asked what was up, when Canada said he had a spider in his hand. That explained a lot. Kaz was naturally scared of Spiders, but for some reason those things never affected the Canadian.
Luckily they were almost at their destination, so Soviet slowed down and stopped the truck. Canada still had the spider, and as soon as he was let out, he went to the other side of the street and put the spider down. He went that far so Kazakhstan wouldn't have a heart attack. Then the Canadian looked at his surroundings. The three were in a forest, and only Kaz and Soviet knew where they actually were. "асығыңыз Канада!" (Hurry up Canada!) Kaz yelled in his natural tongue, showing the Canadian a small clearing forming into a pathway.
"Woah...."
The three walked down the trail in the middle of the woods. Canada looked so excited with wherever he was being taken. Kazakhstan walked like the proud Country he was, and for some reason, Soviet hadn't said much, and the birthday boy noticed, but he tried not to dwell on it. After about ten minutes of walking, you could see a medium building with a dome-shaped roof. It had vines and moss all over the front, with more trees than ever to keep it hidden from trespassers.
It was lucky that Kaz face planted into it when he was younger, of the two Russian's would have never found it.
They walked inside, and Canada almost fainted at the sight. It was an Observatory, and a rather clean one at that, despite the outside look. The Canadian looked back to Soviet and nervously-but-excitedly asked if he could look at the stars. Soviet nodded and looked away, trying to keep his cool. Kazakhstan noticed, and once again stifled a laugh. He helped Canada set up a telescope to the correct setting, then to open the shutter, and when the Canadian looked through it, he saw the most beautiful image of space ever. Thank goodness it was a clear night.
Canada looked away, and walked over to Soviet. Since they were almost the same height, the Russian didn't have to look down that much. When he did look, he was met with Canada hugging him. Yeah, the usually scared-to-death Canadian was hugging the Communist that he once feared, and that wasn't even mentioning the fact that Soviet didn't even know what to do. So he reluctantly wrapped one arm around Canada, but almost regretted it when Canada thanked him.
Kazakhstan got a tad bit jealous, so Canada opened his arm to let him in. The winged country joined in immediately, half because Canada was there, and half because his father would be even more flustered. And this was only the beginning. Soviet didn't even tell Canada he got him a bottle of Maple Syrup. How was he supposed to give it now? He wasn't entirely sure about that, but he was sure of one thing.
Canada was going to be the death of him.
