So It Can Breathe
(An/ I'm sorry for not updating for a couple days. I was being lazy lol)

It was morning.
I stood next to Tord in the kitchen. He scrambled the eggs he had in the pan in front of him.
His hair was a mess, like it always was. Except even more so. His gravely morning voice is what I got to wake up to.
We didn't even get dressed this morning, we hadn't had a single care in the world.
Last night was a big thing for me. I'm sure it was no big deal to Tord, but what can you do.
I'll remember every second of that night for the rest of forever. It was the most beautiful I've ever seen him. Bare and bold. And he wore it with confidence.
I loved the way his body glistened with sweat and how his eyes glazed over when he was close to finishing.
I pulled down at the end of his tshirt, stretching the fabric.
"Isn't this my shirt?" Tords eyes widened and he didn't look my way. A small smirk found its way to his lips.
"Maybe~"

We ate outside together, enjoying the morning air. It was a bit nippy out, so we put on our jackets on the way out.
Tord kept stealing bites of my toast, and I pretended not to notice.
When he reached over to my plate for the 3rd time, I snapped my head over to him. His hand flinched back. He looked like a kid caught stealing from the cookie jar.
"Busted." I took my plate and put it on the other side of me. "You sneaky turd." I laughed at him.
He put his nose in the air.
"Um excuse yourself, it's pronounced Tord." I giggled even more.
It was so nice being around him, when he wasn't being a lame meanie leader.
He acted like himself. The goof I adored.
The sun warmed my cheeks a bit, helping me forget the mild wind.
"What do you plan on doing today? You are back on duty tomorrow, yes?" I intertwined my fingers with his.
His other hand raked through his messy and uneven hair.
"Yeah, don't remind me." He stood up and stretched out. "I was thinking maybe we could go to a club or something. I haven't had a proper drink in a long while."
"Sounds like a plan." His hand led me up.
And we walked back to the base, once again ripping me from the grasp and hold of the fall air.

There are times where I feel like I can no longer breath around myself.
I'll be sitting alone on our bed, and my heart will learch up my throat every time I struggle for air.
My thoughts of the future have been suffocating me.
I want to have everything all in one day. But I know for a fact love comes over time and that I must continue to be patient.
I've been waiting for so many years for this man. And now that we are one, I only wish for him to hold the same adoration I hold for him.
Tord walked down the east hall, stopping to nod at his soldiers ever few seconds. Wishing a good morning to them.
I was clung to his back, his request. My arms wrapped around his neck and my legs at his hip.
It was nice to be with someone that was so handsy. There was almost never a moment where we weren't touching. Even in my morning showers. He'd be right there behind me.
Not that I minded it.
When I was with him, those were the moments I could breath.
I gasped for air every time he'd come back in the room, recollecting myself. My chest would heave with relief when he was there.
Tord bounced me up a bit, making sure I wouldn't slip off of him.
To some people, this would be humiliating. But to me...this was all I could ask for.
I rested my chin in the dip of his shoulder.
"Can we sit yet?" He'd just been walking around the base for a few hours now, pointlessly searching for nothing in particular.
He turned to me, his lips resting on my temple.
"Am I already boring you?" He let out a soft chuckle. "I'll head back to my office in a second. I have an email to type up anyways."
We went further down the hall, heading in the direction of his parents room. I'd only been down there once when I first got here.
He didn't knock, and let himself in.
"Pa?" He called out the the empty room. Light came out from under the closet door.
Patryk stepped out, pulling a shirt over his head.
"Yeah? You alright?" His eyes shifted to me, and he smiled lopsidedly.
Patryk was always the nicer one. He cared a lot for Tord, and was always up his ass.
"I'm fine. Where's dad?"
Patryk moved around the room, pulling his outfit together.
"He's....out. He hasn't been talking much to me. He's been acting weird." He rubbed his palms into his eyes and groaned.
Tord nodded and let me down, surprising me.
I stood behind him for a moment, not wanting to be pulled anywhere into their conversation.
"Well, tell me if you see him I guess. I've been looking for him all morning."
Tord gripped my hand and marched us right out of there.
That was seriously the most pointless conversation I've ever witnessed.
We walked back down the long corridor, heading for his office.

I sat on the floor of Tords office, playing with the carpet and reading through a document on a laptop.
"Tord, it's not formal if you put curse words in it." I looked up at him as he frowned at me.
We were on a shared document on google, sorting through his supposed email. He was getting really short tempered with me since we got in here. I've been making many corrections.
He leaned back in his chair and pulled his hair.
"Ya' know, my pa would never tell me directly what was wrong with it before we send them out. He'd just fix it." Tord spoke in a irritated tone.
"Tord, if I don't tell you what you've done wrong with it now how are you supposed to learn what to not do for the future emails?"
He just stared at me, continuing to frown. And once again, his eyes stole my heart. How could I ever stay mad at someone with eyes like his? So pure and kind... for the most part.
I stood up and cracked my back.
"Well, you stay here and have your pity party. I'm going to pee." I walked out of his office and to the public restroom down the hall.
As I washed my hands, a tall lanky guy came in a waved at me. He fixed his hair next to me in the mirror.
"You know what they are planning right?" He spoke in a monotone voice and I shut of the water. Something inside of me told me to walk away.
"N-no? What's happening?"
He turned to me.
"Oh, so you don't?" I sneered at him.
"No, what the fuck are you on about?" I walked backwards to the door. His face never faltered and it scared me.
"Sorry to hear about that." He stepped forward and pushed me out the door. I stumbled and fell to the floor, a pair of arms catching me on the way down.
It wasn't Tord.
