"Ok. Let's start our work." Aarav said while wearing the gloves. All of them, including Aarav and his team, turned onto their heels and got on their respective works.

It took more than required time for the compilation of the operation as Aarav trying to concentrate on his work but the beauty lying by him, was making it difficult for him. The entire team was busy in admiring Aarav for his work. They were happy that Aarav stay behind after his shift and helped them with this emergency. The guy's condition was bad when they found him but because of Aarav, they were able to save him.

Aarav gave a sigh of relief and relaxed as he succeeded to stable the guy's condition. He looked around at his tired team and smiled," He is out of danger but we have to put him on anesthesia till his brain recovered and the stitches healed. " Aarav stopped to think about the recovering time then turned to Emily," It might take more than a couple of weeks. And I'm going to handle his case."

"Ok, Sir." Emily nodded then helped him to remove his dirty coat.

"What about the other guy?"

"He was also unconscious but Mam (Nancy) is there with him." Emily informed him while folding his used shrub.

"Ok. Do you have any information about them?" Aarav asked without moving his gaze away from that guy's face and took a deep breath. Even after coving his head with bandages, that person was looking beyond handsome, so breathtaking.

"Yes, Sir. We have informed his family members. They might be here soon." Aarav nodded at her then with a last glance at that person's unconscious body, he walked out.

"HOW IS HE? IS HE OK? HOW'S HIS CONDITION, AARAV?!" As soon as Aarav walked out, Nancy bombarded him with a lots of questions. Aarav was taken back by these sudden questions and closed the door of the operation theatre before turning back to her.

Nancy ignored his confused face and tried to marched inside the operation theatre but Aarav stopped her by standing in between her and the door," Hey, What's going on?"

"He-he" Nancy controled herself but the trembling of her lips was enough for Aarav understand that she had been crying from a long time. Aarav held her close till she relaxed and her breathing was even. Then he caught her hand softly, then walked towards the chairs, situated outside the operation theatre and sat there with her.

"Ok. Now tell me what's going on?" Aarav asked as soon as they sat down. Aarav gave her a handkerchief from his pants' pocket to wipe her tears. She took it and wiped her cheeks and running nose.

"H-He is my Son, Nathan." Aarav opened his mouth but not a word came out. His mind was trying to process it. The man, he was admiring few minutes ago was none other than Nancy's son! The son, with whom she wanted to have dinner.

"Is h-he ok?" A broken voice snapped him out of his thoughts. Aarav blinked several times before taking her hands in his and gave them a slight squeeze with a smiling face.

"He is out of danger. But we have to put him on anesthesia for fastening the pace of recovery. He has few cuts on his face but it'll heal soon, they are not too serious. However, his body threw out of the car with sudden force, his head hit against the roadside wall and it was badly wounded with few open points. I did my best and he is out of danger. But we have to cover his head till he recovered fully. The wounds will left their traces but it will be lighten by the time. We had to shaved his hairs but after some time his hairs will grow up and maybe we have to do some hair plantation on some places." Aarav squeezed her hands again," Don't worry. He is a strong guy." Nancy nodded with red eyes.

"Thank you so much, Aarav." Aarav gave her a reassuring smile.

"Don't thank me. It's my duty." Then thought to himself, 'Besides I have to know him fully.'

"Ca-can I see h-him?"

"Yeah, but after transferring him to the special ward. Ok?"

"Ok."

"Let's go and eat something. It's late now and we also have to come back here in the morning." Aarav suggested but Nancy decline it politely as her eyes were fixed on the door of the operation theater. She wanted to see her son as soon as possible.

"No. I don't have any appetite. I want to stay here with him."

Aarav sighed," No. You're coming with me and we're going to eat something delicious then you are going back to your home and will take your nap. Then we will come back here in the morning. Am I clear?"

"B_." Aarav shut her up with a glare.

"He is fine. Both of us, are going to take care of him." After patting his both knees, Aarav stood up," Besides your another son wants to eat something."

Nancy smiled a little as Aarav called himself as her another son. "Ok."

"So, how's the other guy?" Nancy sighed as she thought about Jack.

"When I went to his room as you had ordered me. I was shocked to see him. He is like my another son."

"Is he Nathan's boyfriend?" Aarav asked without thinking then cursed himself. Nancy rose a brow at him then smile.

"Maybe it happens. But unfortunately, No. Nathan and Jack love each other like brother nothing else. I have asked Jack about it but he declined. And for Nathan." Nancy sighed," I don't know his preference. Whenever I tried to ask him, he just shut me up by saying that he is waiting for the right one. I am not opposed to it but. But he should go out with other peoples. He always hanged out with Jack and to be honest, it scares me." Nancy stopped then intake a long breath," He is not social like the people at his age. He is reserved type person." Aarav smirked initially at this given information. That means Nathan was single and Aarav could make his move on him.

"So that other guy's name is Jack?" Nancy nodded at him as her eyes welled up.

"Yeah, af-ter knowing that Jack was one of those two guys. I went to the receptionist and asked her about other guy. When she gave me Nathan's driving license, I br-oke down. It's not even a whole day since I saw him sleeping like a baby." Nancy sniffed at that horrible memory then turned to Aarav.

"Thank you for saving him. He is my gem an-and I can't live without him." Aarav patted her hand with a soft smile.

"He is ok now. Don't cry."

"Yeah." Nancy gave him a sad smile and wiped her tears away.

"Is he working somewhere?" Aarav asked, eager to know everything about him.

"Yeah, but to be honest, I don't know. He is a really responsible man but secretive too. After his father left us, Nathan tried to do his best. He was a brilliant student and a great son. I don't have any idea about his work because he never shared it with me. Whenever I ask, he said that he has some part time jobs." She sniffed as her eyes filled with more tears. "I might be stron-strong but my son is my power. I can't lose him." Aarav gave her a glass of water then grabbed a napkin from the table and offered it to her. She nodded her thanks.

"He is a strong man. He is not going to leave you. He will stay by you at every step."

"I always felt so horri-ble for making him adult so soon." Aarav stood up and walked around the table then knelt down in front of her.

"You're a great mother and he is doing great. Don't lose hope." Aarav patted her hand and stayed there in the same position till she stopped sniffing.

The waiter came up with their food and placed them on the table then left without glancing in their direction again. Aarav stood up then walked back to his seat and sat down" Let's eat. You're really tired and you need some energy."

Nancy smiled then took a small bite of her lasagna.

They had been eating in the silent when Nancy broke it.

"What about you Aarav? How many people do you have in your family?" Aarav stopped eating and a tight smile formed on his face.

"I'm an orphan. I had been living in an orphanage in India before coming here. I got a scholarship for my doctorate and came here. After the compilation of it, I got a job at my friend's family hospital and now, has transfered here." Aarav finished his story shortly and in few seconds. He didn't like to talk about his earlier lifetime. It brings up many memories of his childhood which he wanted to forget.

"No, it's ok. What's matter is that I'm good and happy, now."

"Yeah."

"Let's finish our food before it turns cold."

"Yeah. And I don't like cold lasagna." Aarav smiled at her and started digging his food.

Aarav sighed as he entered inside his empty apartment. "Home sweet home." Aarav mumbled to himself with a bitter voice then removed his shoes and socks before entering inside the room. The room was full of things but still empty. He loved to stay alone but after talking to Nancy, he felt alone. He wanted to feel the touch of mother or someone waiting for him at home when he come back after a long day.

He laid down on the bed without changing his clothes then closed his eyes, thinking about Nathan's face. Aarav knew that he was bi from a long time but never someone caught his attention like Nathan did. He wondered, what if Nathan is a straight?
