The Walking Encyclopedia of Weirdness
Role: Lucky Person From Our Universe
Full Name: Chavonne Lehmkuhl
Nickname(s): Vonz, Vonnie, Elsa, Jack Frost
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pan as Peter and Twice as Magical
Faceclaim: Lilly Collins
Personality: Right off the bat, Chavonne comes across as goofy, incredibly smart, sure, but undeniably and utterly goofy. Fandom t-shirts, strange turns of phrase and an enthusiasm for the things she likes that is almost childlike, it's almost like the woman never quite grew up. But she did. Sure, not into a completely functioning adult but she's passable. Most of the time. Well, she's more functioning than most of the heroes she idolises at least.
The woman has a pitch perfect memory for the stuff she finds interesting, able to recall and recite information with total accuracy that she may have heard only in passing. Unfortunately, this comes with the downside that if she doesn't view it as interesting, the info is tossed out her head like junk mail.
But under all her weirdness and her intelligence, lies a person who will do anything for the people she cares about. A warm and cheerful woman who is ready with a hug and fresh baked cookies whenever someone needs cheering up (despite the fact she hates physical contact at times).
Just don't dig too much deeper than that. Why? Well, let's just say there's a reason why she has a therapist.
Power: Cryokinesis aka ice manipulation and flight
Backstory: Adopted at birth, Chavonne didn't precisely have the most normal childhood. At the age of 1 and a half, her family packed up shop and moved to France for 4 years for her dad's work, the woman getting to travel all over Europe during that time period. By the time she came back home to her native South Africa, she had a, surprisingly, British accent that slowly morphed to American over the years (yeah, she's not sure how it happened either).
Being as weird as she was, attending her first school was pretty rough. Lots of bullying, her not realising it at the time, lots of therapy from various psychiatrists and psychologists and being put on medication that was meant to help her concentrate but also caused her constant hunger and took away her emotions, she did not have the best go of things. Things only really improved at her second school.
Off the medication and finally thriving thanks to no homework and small classes, Chavonne slowly started coming into the personality she has today, previously having been extremely quiet and very reserved. Sure, she still went to therapy but that was mainly to deal with the damage done by her first school.
Unfortunately for her, the moment she left high school, her life took a massive downward dive. Her health took a massive blow, the woman unable to attend culinary school like she planned for an entire year thanks to it. And when she finally did start attending, a mental breakdown and getting the wrong medication sent her back even further, the woman having to take a longer break from school than she wanted.
And when things finally seemed to be improving, the girl picking up pottery to be closer with her mom and finding it helped just as much as therapy, well... her mom, the basis for her entire support system and one of the few people she truly trusted, died. And if that wasn't bad, Chavonne was the only one in the house when it happened and was the person to call the ambulance.
So, yeah. Things were not going well for her, the woman now, in her mind, forced to take over as the support system for everyone in her household and having to give up her therapy thanks to financial constraints. It was almost a relief, really, when the portal opened up under her in the middle of a shopping run and deposited her right in the middle of a post-Avengers New York.
Crush: Bucky/Loki/Thor (the woman has a lot of feels and no clue how to classify them, leave her be)
Best Friend: Open
Family: Her father (Michael, 63), her mother (Colleen, 59, deceased), her younger brother (Matthew, 14)
Likes: Marvel, DC (though to a lesser extent), baking, cooking, snow, pottery, dogs, cats, Disney, drawing, singing, music (particularly Broadway), movies, YouTube, shawarma
Dislikes: Avocado, raw tomato, itchy clothing, dresses, high heels, spicy food, gloves
Fears: Nobody missing her when she's gone, the idea of immortality, spiders
Other: Has 3 tattooes: a pair of blue hibiscus flowers with the word 'Ohana' on her left wrist, a sword with the Arc Reactor symbol in the pommel and various flowers surrounding it down her spine and a sunflower surrounded by multicolored poppies over the word 'mom' on her right wrist. Epileptic and depressed, on medication for both. Her hair turns white and her eyes turn bright blue when she gets her powers.
Password: Iron Man, through and through.
